It's a good thing to follow the drums on the Oni and to make it easier with a spin on easier diffs so there's no real reason to be consistent with this.

00:27:262 (29,30,31,32,33,34) - Should have the same rhythm as 00:21:928 (21,22,23,24,25,26) - to make it simpler and have consistency.
00:55:595 (74) - Delete this note to have clearer rhythm (1/1 -> 1/2 -> 1/2 - > 2/1 -> 1/1 is... well, no.)

00:55:595 (74) - Delete this note to have clearer rhythm (1/1 -> 1/2 -> 1/2 - > 2/1 -> 1/1 is... well, no.) As the pattern from 00:53:262 to 01:00:928 - has the similar spacings (2/1 -> 3/2 -> 3/2 -> 2/1 -> 1/1 -> ...), I think it is clear enough.
00:58:262 (79) - ^ to create a larger break => same as ^. Also, I think it is reasonable to have slightly more notes in kiai.
01:03:262 (1,2) - Delete 2 and maybe change 1 to a kat - there's no notes at all 00:52:595 - here and it would free up the big note a bit 00:52:595 - has no notes because of the calmer rhythm. I placed the two notes because of the presence of both the vocal and snare.

I can hardly hear any difference between 70%, 80% and 90% while playing, and well, even though technically this isn't really wrong in any way, I just don't think you need so much green lines for such minuscule changes ;w; Maybe delete the green lines at 00:10:595 - 00:21:262 - 00:42:595 - 00:47:928 ?
  2. 01:01:262 - wtf 50% in the kiai? I get that the spinner-sound is a lot louder than normal notes, but I could still notice a significant drop in volume which sounds unnatural as hell D: Tried some volumes here and 75% sounds the best while not being too noisy :3

  1. 00:17:928 - (rip nwolf already mentioned it but) kat here? I get the snare logic for your don , but tbh it fits much, much better with a kat because of the melody-thingy which is exactly the same as 00:12:595 and to be honest if I'm a Kantan player I won't even notice the snares since well the melody is outstanding as hell lol (tl;dr the loud melody line should be mapped to instead of the hardly-noticeable snares because logic and it's a kantan :<)
  2. 00:21:262 (20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,33,34) - Are you seriously having variety for two sounding extremely similar parts at 180bpm with 1/1 patterns which isn't really easy as a Kantan D: Kantans are basically an introduction for newbie players for the Taiko mode and having stuff like this isn't really gonna help them get used too stuff since they change frequently while the music remains fairly consistent
  3. 00:31:095 - Why isn't this note a big one like the previous note? They're both accented in the same way
  4. 00:37:595 - Move this to 00:37:762 pls, the vocals here are on 3/2 and so the beat for the vocals is much stronger there than what you currently have

  2. 00:15:595 - Maybe move to 00:15:762 to follow the violins more...? Well it'll look pretty bad there but it fits so why not ;w; (just a mild suggestion)
  3. 00:12:595 (6,7,8) - ...ddk for pitches please? I don't see what's so important about the drums in the background that made you ignore consistency and the main melody line
  4. 00:31:095 (54,55) - Same as Kantan
  5. 00:39:595 (78,79) - ^ (especially when this Futsuu is so finisher-heavy orz)

The lower difficulties feel weird to me because of all the vocal mapping, but that's just me. The spread might seem off because every diff is pretty hard for it's name but, the difficulty between each diff is still on an accurate scale. So I wouldn't worry about each diff being "too hard", the beatmap set as a whole is just a litter harder than most. And that is perfectly fine. :P

I know 1/4s will be much more better for playing, but wrong snap = unrankable, other ranked versions are all 1/3s at that part, though your mp3 is slightly different, 1/3 drums are weak but still can be heard. There are no 1/4 sounds, both two parts below. (01:20:595 - to 01:21:262 - and 01:23:262 - to 01:23:595 - )

I've asked MMzz and he thinks that 1/4 is fine for both Onis since it is really hard to hear the 1/3 beats.

People seem to be confused here. Let me assure you that the 1/4 works well. Unlike osu, Taiko gives us the possibility to have our own patterns because this game mode is pretty much beat oriented (is it the beat of the song, the vocal or own beats). To those who aren't happy with this explanation let me add that the 1/3 in this song are really quiet and considering the volume of taiko and the patterns at this very part, having 1/4 is absolutely fine. They work in this way fine and can be also either considered as "own beats which respect the overall song" or be refered to the 1/1 sounds at 01:20:595 - which are emphasized by a 1/4 kat stream instead of a possible finisher.

I'm very surprised that this got ranked when there is such a small gap in the star rating between both Oni difficulties. I would have expected at least a 0.4 gap in the star rating first.

Make sure to get your stuff rechecked by the BN. As I was not entirely sure which one was the definite DQ reason, I just drop all the issues they mentioned - as you should consider all of them.

I am sure that the Taiko QAT will elaborate their concrete DQ reason more indeep if you ask them.

[Kantan & Futsuu]

- 00:08:095 (5,1) - Doubt it is the best idea to use a spinner here. Especially in Futsuu bounded together with a 1/2 don. New players normaly don't know how to spin, and suddenly it starts with that + a don. Can lead to confusion.
- I don't see the need for SV 1.2 in both difficulties. The BPM isn't that high and leads to another problems which is dedicated to Kantan . Beside the different snappings in Kantan which are really a lot confusing, the SV makes these different spacings less noticeable, like for example 00:30:595 (35,36) - which a new player probably can't distinguise.
- New pattern constellations in Kantan like 00:32:595 (38,39,40,41) - makes the diff even harder and more confusing.

For the rest of Futsuu diff, we could nitpick a lot of things, but generally the mapping style used makes it reasonable. While this is a strength in this case, it's a huge weakness in both Kantan and Muzukashii if you ask me.

While Muzu is relatively fine (we am against mapping like that though, trying hard to follow vocals and then ignore them right afterwards), it creates a problem in Kantan where you are forced to map on really odd ticks. While musically it does makes sense in a way, it feels bad because it's not trying to create a comprehensible rhythm, it has no flow and the notes are just "there".

the beginning in Futsuu and Kantan is too sudden and the rhythms used don't represent the music as it should.

[Spread]

Spread from Muzukashii to the other two Onis seems to be high. While Futsuu indicates already the use of 1/2 patterns in Muzu, which is a good transition from one to the other difficulty, Muzukashii don't have any 1/4 for upcoming diffs. Both Onis suddenly use some more ocmplicated 1/4 with an higher density, such as 00:41:928 - in qoot's Oni or 01:00:595~01:02:428 - longer constellations in nardo's Oni.

Maybe one of the Oni's should be made a bit easier.

mp3 quality is doubtfully low. Are you sure there is no better version of this?
