02:04:351 (1,2,3,4) - i dont like these single notes :c well, I don't like breaks in Taiko diffs, but I think it fits here.
03:18:562 (2,3,4) - needs to be 1/6 true
03:22:597 (1) - do something to better fit with the music short spinners are meh, sliders don't fit. The only thing that fits, is a kat. Putting it as finish note may work, but since it's a 1/4 triplet, I don't want to put a finish here.
03:31:076 (1,2,3) - delete these three notes k
03:40:141 (1,1,1,1,1,1) - move them 1/4 earlier k

03:45:111 (3) - kat? k
04:54:439 - add a note k
04:57:334 (1) - the end really must be on 1/8? better end here 04:57:597 and add a note here 04:57:684 uhm. lol, dunno how this happened. fixed
05:20:491 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - weird-looking replaced with drumroll

!Warning! Extremely long mod incoming. >.>Loctav's TaikoOverall a fun map, few changes here and there but it's good.
00:36:720 - 00:37:597 this section is pretty much all dons. It's a drum and bass song so all you hear is the drum that you're trying to follow/capture. mm, well. Okay. I like both versions, lol
00:41:281 - missed a kat true
00:42:597 (2,3,4,1) - I wouldn't recommend following this kind of sound because there's no drum there. It's just a blaring/glitch noise thrown out there. Try to do something else here. the noise is too long to be only done with a finish, short spinners and sliders have same effect than the 1/6 thing. and the 1/6 sounds the best. and leaving out is no option
00:45:404 (1,2,3) - Another like above replaced with finish note
00:52:509 (2,3) - Remove these two kats. The sound you're trying to follow is barely audible, and even more-so with the kats there. removed the one on the blue tick. this should work better.
00:55:228 (1,2) - These two notes are kats and ironically 00:55:579 (1) isnt'. true
00:58:211 (2,1,1) - I'd remove the two kats there and use the don to make an off-beat pattern. There's really no sound here either. it took me a while to understand, but yeh, that sounds good.
01:01:193 - There's actually no sound on the fourth kat here so a don or blank space will suffice. removed one don.
01:07:860 (1,2,3,4) - Another spot where the noise is glitchy. Find another way to map this. see above.
01:13:825 - No sound on the last kat here either. yup
01:18:386 (1,2,3,4,1) - Drums die for a moment here. true.
01:20:579 - Missed a note. yup.
01:26:281 (5,6,7) - Spacing should change from 1/4 to 1/6 here. yup
01:30:316 (1,2,3,4) - Another glitch spot. see above.
01:32:334 - (Recommendation) I'd change this to a don to make it flow easier and sound closer to the music, but this piece of the song is hard to follow at all. seems fine to me.
01:36:720 - Missed a note. yup.
01:37:070 (3,4,1,1,2,1,1,2) - This whole pattern should be changed to fit the drums if you're trying to stay consistent with how you've mapped thus far. tried my best.
01:38:562 (2,3,1) - This piece you can make a 1/6 pattern to because the drums change to it. k
01:38:912 (1,2,3,1) - This doesn't really work because it's not drums, it's just glitch again. see above
01:44:527 - Missed a don here and next to it at 01:44:702 yup.
01:46:105 - No sound here. Change to a don or remove extra note. removed.
01:50:316 - Should be a don. true.
01:52:772 (3,4,5,1) - More glitch replaced with finish.
01:58:737 - change to don k
For all of the kiai time I can't tell what you're following at all. If you're just making you're own beat to add too the music then it's fine if you're following something, might want to consider remapping. I TRIED to follow the clusterf*k music, then it turned out to be pretty custom with some basement on the song self. I think the kiai overlays pretty well with it and I killed the randomness contained in this 'music'
03:14:614 - No sound here, remove don. k
03:15:228 - Change to kat. k
03:17:334 - Change to don. k
03:18:211 (1,2) - Change to kats. (Note: you can change the last kat on the 1/6 burst to a don.) k
03:19:790 (2,3,4,1) - More glitch. replaced with finisher.
03:31:369 (Editor Error) - I noticed you added a new combo to this note that doesn't need one (lol you'll see). lol, fixed
03:35:755 - Change to don. k
03:35:930 - Change to kat. k
03:38:211 - Add a don to the end of this 1/6 burst. 3-note 1/6th beat patterns are tricky to hit and a don isn't going to change anything. (Recommendation). don't fit the music.
03:39:702 - Missed a note. k
03:41:105 (Editor Error) - Check it again. xD XD
03:42:684 - Extra don, remove. k
03:45:053 (2,1,1,2) - Glitch. finisher
03:48:649 - (Recommendation) Missed a sound that could have a note here, but not necessary. k
03:49:439 - Change to don. k
03:50:141 - Change to don. k
03:50:930 - Remove to kats from the end of this pattern, there's no sound. k
04:44:000 (1,1,1,1,1) - Change to all dons. k
04:44:527 - 04:45:053 (Don't know how to explain so:) Change the pattern to this: http://puu.sh/A24H k
04:49:614 - Glitch see above
04:52:421 - Glitch see above
04:56:369 - (Recommendation) You could put something in this empty space here if you wanted, but not necessary. I don't want.
04:58:211 - Change to don. k
05:08:211 - Change note to don. The burst ends on the third note, but add the fourth one (which is there now) and change to a don to make it flow. k
05:12:158 - Remove note here and add it here: 05:12:334 k
The ending is subtle so I'd recommend slowly decreasing your note density as it progresses. Which you kind of do, but you don't even really just drop it, you know? I'm not sure if that's explained well. If it isn't contact me and i'll help clarify some more. well, I don't like SV changes.

Taikomod as requested in IRC :3
NOTE: Even if the map isn't uploaded with Loctav's latest update, it's modded as if it would be, since Loctav handed me the newer version via IRC
General:
Reduce drain by 1 or 2, since the map is over 5minutes long. reduced by 1
Maybe increase overall vol. to 60% (90% for kiaiparts), so you can actually hear what you play hmm, well, okay.
01:13:737 - remove this and the following timingsection or don't reduce the vol. that dramatically, it's irritateing removed
02:01:720 - 02:23:912 remove this break manually in the editor, breaks are not allowed in taikomode well, not neccessary, but, okay
First Kiai needs to end on either 03:08:562 or 03:08:912 needs to be consistent with standard diff
05:10:053 - hmm, i'm not sure about dropping the vol. by a total of 10%. if you want to stay at 10% reduce, move second section to 05:15:228 to let the drop be more consistent. removed the sections
Mapping:
You didn't rework all comobcolours, it's quiet hard to read as a modder~ dunno, lol
00:36:807 (1) - this is supposed to be kat i guess? yes
00:45:404 (1) - big doesn't really make sense to me, small is fine here the distorted noise called for something different
00:56:281 (1) - this needs to be at 00:56:369 (slow down the part and you'll see it ;D) true
01:07:860 (1) - again, make this one small see above
01:27:509 (1) - a 1/6 stream would fit here, since you use one at a similar part of the song ( 01:30:316 (1,2,3,1) - ) k
01:29:965 (1) - small pls to keep the ryhthm from a few seconds ago, this one stays
01:52:772 (3) - either make it small or make it small and add 1/6 stream (as mentioned above) see above
02:46:105 (1) - 1/6 stream would fit here yup
03:19:790 (2) - ^ as made before, yes
03:45:053 (2) - ^ as refused before, no
04:02:772 (1,2,3,4) - kat sounds better IMO (if you do so, please make 04:02:070 (1,2,3) - don) k
04:39:790 (1,1,1,1,1) - ddkdk? seems fine
05:14:877 (2) - 1/6 stream here? :3 no, already agreed to the other mod, that this fits more.
05:16:983 (3) - maybe kat? yup
05:20:491 (3) - i dislike the finishing slider, maybe go for something like this:SPOILERit fits better.
Spinner ends at 05:23:649
If you want, you can also drop the vol. for the spinner by 10~20%
Okay, found more than I thought
Be happy with it :3
Good luck~

That would require changing a part of the map, so no, the scores wouldn't be saved.JappyBabes wrote:
If it's just a timing issue, scores should be saved, no?
i would place the timing section at 278727 not 278272 (-10 offset not -15), -15 is too far. getting as low as 3% mistimed hits at -10 but consistent 18-20% mistimed hits at -15 with avg msg late.Kurai wrote:

Don't bother.Loctav wrote:
and odaril as well.
you're right, i think them being sliders means it's not possible to drop accuracy (atleast in standard) so it's much harder to notice (and also has far less effect on play)Tenshi-nyan wrote:

At least it doesn't play on the white tick. Weird things is, there are multiple similar places like this in the song, but they are just fine.
Actually -15 or -12 doesn't make any difference.Odaril wrote:
