Hello, I'm from your M4M queue.
- 00:18:622 (18622|0) - Make this a double to stay consistent.
- 01:15:306 (75306|2) - Vocal here. You stopped mapping the vocal overall for this bit, but you haven't really done that anywhere else.
- 01:25:411 (85411|1) - ^
- 01:32:516 (92516|0) - This isn't mapped to anything.
- 01:33:148 (93148|1,93780|2) - Neither are these two, but they make slightly more sense as there's vocal on top.
- 01:36:938 (96938|3) - Extend this to the double ahead of it. Will need to change the note in col|4| to some other column.
- 00:49:569 - Uhh from this point onwards your patterning randomly changes. You set it up nicely with these 00:43:885 (43885|1,44043|1,45148|0,45306|0,46727|2,46885|2) - kinds of repetitions, but then you randomly abandon it. Keep going with that pattern until this section ends so that it stays consistent.
- 01:23:990 (83990|2,83990|1,84148|2,84148|1,84306|2,84306|1) - This is kinda strange and unfitting to the song. Perhaps move 01:24:148 (84148|1,84148|2) - to 01:23:674 -
- 01:33:148 (93148|1,93148|0,93306|3,93306|2,93464|0,93464|1,93622|3,93622|2) - Randomly started mapping this sound to doubles?
- 00:14:122 (14122|1,14122|2) - This double is unnecessary, as there's no kick here (or any other loud sound). It's just the same as the other single notes, so delete one of them to make it a single.
- 00:14:753 (14753|3,14753|2) - ^
- 00:16:648 (16648|2,16648|1) - ^
- 00:17:280 (17280|3,17280|2) - ^
- This isn't a suggestion, but I'd just like to say that your patterning from 00:03:464 - to 00:13:569 - is especially fun! It flows very nicely with the music.
- 00:20:280 (20280|2,20359|3,20438|2) - This feels a little out of place. I suggest you stick to the simple jumptrill as the volume different is essentially unnoticeable for players playing it at 100% speed. However, if you
truly want to keep it, then notice that this note is slightly quieter as well 00:20:753 (20753|3,20753|2) - .
- 00:27:306 (27306|3,27306|0,27306|2) - I suggest halving the length of one of these LNs (I'd probably choose the one in column |3|). Just so you stay consistent with the 3-LN-at-a-time layering here. Also, it's odd having a quad at the start. Similarly, I'd probably also delete 00:28:095 (28095|1) - for that same reason. Basically, here's my suggestion:
http://prntscr.com/d1ka8l- 00:28:727 (28727|3,28727|0,28727|1,29043|1,29043|3,29043|0,29674|3,29674|0,29674|1,30938|0,30938|1,30938|3) - Why did you map this sound to triples randomly? It seems most of the time you've been mapping it to a double in this particular section. Make sure you have some kind of layering structure in mind.
- 00:29:832 (29832|0,29832|3,29911|2,29911|1) - Random doubles when there's no clear sound that it's mapped to? I think you're trying to map the vocals here but it's not done very accurately. When playing it seems less like I'm following the vocals, and more like I'm hitting random doubles.
- 00:30:385 (30385|0,30385|2,30464|1,30464|3) - ^
- 00:31:095 (31095|1,31095|2,31174|3,31174|0) - ^
- 00:31:727 (31727|0,31727|1,31806|3,31806|2) - ^
- 00:32:359 (32359|1,32359|3) - You didn't map this sound anywhere else during this section so it seems odd to start now.
- 00:34:648 (34648|3,34648|0,34648|2,34727|3,34727|2,34727|0) - Very overmapped! Those two sounds aren't even remotely similar, so mapping them the exact same way with the same intensity does not work. The emphasis is on the second chord. The first one is quiet and does not need a triple. Honestly I'd just make it a single note and place it in the column that has the gap.
- 00:37:174 (37174|0,37174|3,37174|1,37253|0,37253|1,37253|3) - ^
- 00:39:701 (39701|3,39701|2,39701|0,39780|3,39780|0,39780|2) - ^
- 00:35:674 (35674|0,35674|2,35674|3,35674|1) - Random quad? This sound is no more emphasised than the other kicks around it, so it's not really necessary to make it a quad. Change it to a triple.
- 00:38:201 (38201|3,38201|1,38201|0,38201|2) - ^
- 00:36:306 (36306|2,36306|0,36306|1,36306|3) - At least here it
kinda makes sense as it's the start of a new measure, and you seem to want to emphasise that. So this is fine.
- 00:41:359 (41359|1,41359|0,41359|2,41516|0,41516|2,41516|1,41832|3,41832|2,41832|1,41990|1,41990|3,41990|2,42306|1,42306|2,42306|0) - Random triples, even though half the time you've mapped it to doubles? I'd check your layering structure here.
- 00:53:674 (53674|2,53674|0,53674|1,53674|3) - This quad is especially awkward to hit after those two doubles. Consider making it a triple because a quad here is a bit overkill.
- 00:55:569 (55569|0,55727|0,55885|0) - In this section you seem to be sticking solely to 2 note repeating a column. So randomly having 3 in a row feels slightly off.
- 01:00:622 (60622|3,60780|3,60938|3) - ^
- 01:14:911 (74911|0,74911|3) - Unnecessary double. Map to a single. There's no sound to map the double to (compared to the other doubles used).
- 01:15:385 (75385|1,75385|2) - ^
- 01:15:859 (75859|3,75859|2) - ^ (I hope you're not trying to map to vocals with these notes because they're not even mapped to the vocals correctly)
- 01:16:648 (76648|3,76648|0) - ^
- 01:17:280 (77280|2,77280|3) - ^ Okay you get the point, I'll stop here. This whole kiai section is full of these doubles that don't fit, which causes it to become very much overmapped. Please take the time to go through this whole section with some kind of layering structure in mind!
- 01:34:174 (94174|2,94174|3,94253|2,94253|3,94332|3,94332|2) - There's many better ways of doing this, but having a triple handjack like this is not the right way. It disproportional to the rest of the difficulty. It would make more sense if this was a jack-oriented map, but it isn't. Try some other patterning here.
- 01:39:148 (99148|1,99148|0,99227|1,99227|0,99385|1,99385|0,99464|0,99464|1) - ??? Similar to ^
- 01:45:385 (105385|3,105385|0,105385|2,105464|3,105464|2,105464|0) - The same as what I said earlier about this pattern. Assume that all of my suggestions for that section also apply here.
- 01:54:622 (114622|0,114648|1,114674|2,114701|3,114727|0,114753|1,114780|2,114806|3,114832|0,114859|1,114885|3,114911|2,114938|1,114964|0,114990|3,115016|2,115043|1,115069|0,115095|3,115095|2) - Overmapped! How is this 1/12? You can clearly hear the beat stays at 1/4 like the rest of the drum hits. If you truly want to keep the burst (which I'm guessing is to inflate the SR or something?), then try 1/8. It probably only sounds like there's more notes because of the echo/reverb.
- Also the burst patterning^ continues to 01:55:174 -
Just some overmapping and layering issues in the last difficulty, but I wish you good luck with this set~!
