02:13:594 (1,2,3,4,5) - as the drum beat get stronger, i think ds here should increase instead of decrease I made it decrease to form a contrast to the beginning pattern into the kiai 01:50:237 (1,2,3,4,5) - so it gives the feel of an 'exit' out of the kiai. Imo it works both ways because there is a louder sound here 02:13:808 (2) - which is space emphasized and the remaining circles all have the same drumsound and arent as much spaced to relate to that
04:14:022 (4,5) - change rhythm to 1/2 slider + 1 note would fit the vocal better tru
04:42:737 (5) - maybe it should end at 04:43:487 - ending it on the drum sound at the red tick is good enough

00:41:451 (6) - you could change it's direction verticly. https://puu.sh/ujgML/0e69b15529.png . My reasoning being that it just looks more natural to me because it would fit the perfectly beatiful nature of the map. (The slider could use some reshaping tho)
00:46:808 (8) - Moving this down a bit, so you have a contrast to the diagonal up-left down-right movement of 00:45:308 (3,4,5,6) - .
02:08:665 (6,7,8) - I think putting them in a non-cruved or higher angled pattern would emphasise the drums better by contrasting the "kiai" up till now. It it wierdly felt less rewarding playing than 02:00:951 (6,7,8) - .
02:39:308 (4,5) - "curved" xD. Tbh i thnk breaking the pattern a bit and curvig those two a bit more would hilight the flute aswell. i kinda notice ._.
03:18:737 (1,2) - kidan cancerous balnket XD
04:06:094 (4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - The transition was very awkward to play. Maybe something similar to this 01:48:737 (5,6,7,1) - or 1/2 slider this 04:06:094 (4) - . It is readable but not very nice to play concidering how naise to play the rest of the map is. And imo it doesnt feel like a part which would need such high contrast.
04:42:737 (5) - this is kinda random imo. Breaks the whole serenity of the map to follow wierd violin notes. [maybe 2 or 3 1/4 repeats instead :^) ]

Not sure if a small slider on Normal repeating like this is allowed 04:26:879 (1) and so close to the next object, but still, 04:28:165 (2) - needs a NC for better reading.
That's all i could find really, it's well mapped.

Hard:
Possible nitpick but 00:20:451 (4,6) - this overlap seems a bit hard to read even for a Hard compared to the rest.
00:26:451 (1,2) - Another weird overlap but this one is less intense so its fine
01:09:094 (4) - This circle needs to be placed slightly lower as well
01:46:165 - Don't leave this part in silence? The absence of mapping here felt kinda weird, even thought there would be a spinner at least
04:04:379 - You could add another circle here to fill the long pause, and it fits well to the music ofc, you can place it right in the middle of the playfield.

Sinfonia:
00:30:308 (3) - Ctrl+G? Looks better and flows nicely too
Personal opinion again but these patterns: 01:50:237 (1,2,3,4,5) - would be easier and look better if each object had its own color, but its more in the playability sense that i would prefer each having its own combo for better reading.

Sorry if the mod is too short, i usually testplay all of the maps that i get for modding but yours is really well done already so it was nothing really missing for me to suggest unless super nitpicky. The overlaps are all pretty well done and since the whole maps follow the same idea theres really nothing to go on about pointing every single one.
Really fun to play though.

  3. 00:31:594 - 01:20:451 - and others like these i would make these clickable also for same reason as above , but these ones are'nt actually as strong as the previous one
  4. 00:41:879 (6,1) - Swap NC's for consistency
  5. 01:25:594 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6) - In this whole section , Your NC patterning is really weird , Sometime the nc is after 2 downbeats , sometime after 3 and sometimes after 4 . there is no consistency at all so you should rather fix it

  7. 04:24:308 - Well its pretty clear the sound one this downbeat is twice as intense as 04:23:879 - in term of both vocal and melody , The snare and cymbal also make this one a really important beat , Executing it like this on a slider end is a really bad idea.

fixed everything except these 00:31:594 (6) - in hard and sinfonia because, I did have them DSd before but they felt weird to me and I recently figured out why; if I DS them there still wont be any emphasize on the strong beat on the last circle because the spacing between the slider and the circle prior is the same. So there is actually less emphasize on the strong beat if I DS it which makes it play weird, so I just stacked it to put the emphasize on the spinner follow up which plays better imo

regarding the weird NCs: I Likely NCd certain patterns that stick out or differences in vocals which seem to break the usual NC patterns. Its what I generally tend to do while mapping but I fixed them all

better into the angle

due to this song being >5min long Im not actually obligated to have more than 1 diff. If the song itself would call for something more difficult than my current top diff Id go at it but dont think I can make something more challenging without it overshadowing the song, glad to hear you like it though!

01:34:594 (4,5,6) - ctrl+g the rhythm ? I know you follow the vocals but the slider ends weird on a the first drum. Followed by the second drum on first of the two following circles.

I think this diff is designed kinda poorly, usually for low diffs you want the SV and DS to be kinda similar, closer to between .8 and 1.3 than stuff like 2.0 or 1.7 like you use a lot of. This is so the movement between objects can match the slider velocity so the movement is cohesive. It's even in the ranking criteria here: https://puu.sh/ACJXh/72eb148669.png. The best way to fix this is to increase the SV, but that does require a lot of work...

the sections with 1.5 DS are actually pretty fine (so the choruses) but the ones that go higher start to feel kinda awkward. I guess its your call on this one since it is a marathon normal (i'd care more if it was a required diff for the spread)


edit - actually changed my mind on this guess its fine

i dont think the current sv/ds settings are an issue, it's actually pretty comfortable for this song's slower pacing. you can watch the 1 replay from the 1 normal-level player that's played this and they dont have any issue lol hobs

lol, ya I didnt see any issue with it either, I always testplay low diffs with mouse cause I suck with it and I felt the movement was as natural as needed to be

brought unique ideas that usual 3 star maps don't really have, the last part with the short sliders and the long one was really cool!
