There are numerous sliders here that are unrankable; the start and end of a slider CANNOT overlap.

Here's the thing. I don't think there's any need for the Madness difficulty when you have one as hard as Insane already. Madness just seems like difficulty for the sake of it, something I'm not a great fan of.

I just fix them all. I really didn't know about that criteria.
(but as I know, http://osu.ppy.sh/s/9029 this map has that kind of slider too. It is on 01:48:709, but it was ranked. that criteria is really work? or, if 'hold' SB is there it is allowed?)

I have reason for [Madness]. It is a little long story. anyway, I can not give up my [Madness]. thx.

I never make the map with higher than 10 hit per second density of circles If it is unnecessary. (If I try to make a map for 300BPM song, This is only valid reason for 10 hit per second density of circles.) Maybe most of keyboard users never understand this, but this is really fxxkness, unholy sxxt, retarded technique, and without thinking note. I strongly believe that density of circles must be banned from OSU.

왠지 그럴 거 같더라.... 한두군데에서 그짓을 해 놓은 게 아니라 수정이 좀 걸릴 듯요. 왠만하면 또 그냥 내버려두고 싶은 게...

1. 스페이싱이나 슬라이더 벨로시티 다시잡고 싹 리맵. (현 상태로는 1/2 간격 노트 스페이싱이 너무 좁아 노트의 절반 가까이가 오버랩됩니다. 그리고 전 이런 고밀도 스페이싱을 쓰느니 스택시키는 게 좋다고 생각하는 입장입니다. 그러고 보니 스페이싱을 넓혀서 이걸 겹쳐지지 않을 정도로 벌리면, 이지라고 하기엔 꽤나 넓직넓직한 맵이 나오네요.)
2. 그냥 이지에서 1/2간격 노트를 죄다 삭제.
3. 문제가 있는 부분 슬라이더를 전부 노트로 바꾸고 스택.
4. 빗코의 사상이 해괴망측한 거니 그냥 고밀도 스페이싱 사용.

어떤 게 좋을까요?

개인적으로는 매핑할 때 패턴이 직관적이지 않으면 (코너점프라든가, 대각선, 십자, 악셀점프 등 한눈에 '같은 박자로 치는 거겠군'을 알 수 있는 패턴), 한 콤보 안에서 스페이싱을 변경하는 것을 의외로 좋아하지 않습니다. 그래서 점프를 위해 스페이싱을 도중에 바꾸면 그 패턴이 정말 자연스럽게 읽히지 않는 한 죄다 뉴콤보를 넣습니다[.] 게다가 지금 지적하신 부분은 정말 곡하고 상관없이 뜬금없이 점프가 등장하는 부분이라... 저는 지금 상태가 더 자연스럽게 읽히네요.
패턴 자체에 오류가 있었다고 판단, 뉴콤보를 지우고 자연스럽게 오른쪽에서 왼쪽으로 가는 1,2,3,4로 바꾸었습니다. 이에 따라 01:46:636의 뉴콤보도 삭제됐습니다.

I like this map. (only tried Easy and normal diff) and watched madness with auto on. And i really like the easy and normal one. normal being the favorite though. not much to point out in my opinion.

lack of hit sounds was intentional. in fact, I don't like hitsounds so much except clap. and 'insane has higer max score than Madness' was intentional too. (I was failed about this on my first ranked map, but they has very similar max score too) because Madness diff can not enjoyable with mouse. most of player use mouse, so I think, If Madness diff has much more max score than Insane, This is unfair.

EDIT2 : BPM and Offset was modified. 150.01 BPM, 44 MS -> 150 BPM, 40 MS. note resnapping and slider recalcultating was complete, and I checked all parts of the mapset and remade some parts manually.

The reverse arrow kind of sticks out as it is. Maybe have a more transparent background and a brighter color on the arrow itself?
With that hitcricle overlay, I'd use darker colors on the slider tracks instead of white.
I didn't know you could associate sounds with combobursts. That's awesome. Were these from the kr voice set as well? I remember Jam being incredibly annoying with the kr voice set, hehe. Air slash all day and annoying my friends was the best.
There's a couple pixels in your hp bar that you may have forgotten to delete.

These are JP version voice from PC version. My DVD device on PC was broken long days ago, so I can not export KR voice set from PS2 DVD. I can record it with analog device and convert it, but It takes too much time and effort. and, I prefer Jam's JP version voice more than KR version. IMO, ROBO-KY, SOL, Bridget,Ino... many character's KR voice sets are better than JP version, but Jam's is not. unfortunately.

in fact... Madness diff is not so difficult. because density of notes is too low. (look kirby mix things, crazy spacing + ridiculous density. They are only for tablet + keyboard users. lol.) most of testers(of course, almost top class players) got few misses and high ACC on my [Madness]. just hit the all notes, high ACC is guaranteed. This is my mapping style maybe. easy beat, but crazy spacing.


I really didn't know about that critical error of my mapset. most of mappers doesn't care about that much... but that was cleary unrankable. I'm very thank you Garven.

Go into each of your difficulties, go to File -> Open .osu in Notepad
Scroll down to the [Colours] section, and add this line:
SliderBorder : 0,0,0

(0, 0, 0 will make it black, 255,255,255 is white). Change at your leisure until you find a good one that matches the overlay.

That's why [I] has more max score than [M].

I can't believe [M] is perfectly impossible to mouse player. anyway, It's possible to touchscreen or tablet. I always find tester when I make the map. They got good result at my [M] with few play count. also, This is my best result when I test it.


Too many mappers who use mouse don't care about 'This map is possible with touchscreen or not.' Most of map in OSU! are humanly impossible to touchscreen because of their density of notes. even [H] diffs!!!! damn without thinkng notes. so, tell me.

You make a map for people. is making fun for them.
But this jumping map isn't.
Surely, I make the map for people's fun and enjoyment. Don't be intolerant because of you do not enjoy jumps. It is just personal preference. If I invade your map thread, and point out your all notes beacuse of just density of notes, and said 'This note is not for fun', you can be pleased it? Plz understand concept of my map.

I positioned it all in symmetry. It is on intuitive. and I refer many ranked map's irregular spacing jumps and Rated Mapping Techniques.

I'm not sure about this. I positioned it on purpose, and there is no criteria about this. most case it is just 'stacked with spinner' note. but sometimes I positioning it without thinking. in fact, easy and normal had this kind of positioning too. I modify them when before you summoned. I'll consider about this is fair or not. It is little different issue with just stacked note.
at least, I agree with you, this kind of positioning is must be sublated in easy and normal diffs.

I couldn't. Already my [H] has too low life drain, but still can't reach 4.5. seriously, I don't believe this star diffculty system much. It is just guideline. 0.21 is not so far, and I can not believe my [H] is actually [I]. My [H] is totally [H].

maybe that spacing is looks very weired to you. but to me, This kind of really short reverse slider in rapid long combo, very hard to read. because of my hand is always on my screen when I hit rapid long combo.
so, I make it jumps. delete that slider and put in 1 circle at that timing, and position. and look its spacing. This is logic of these jumps.
I don't care you understand it or not. anyway it is readable, beatable for mouse players too. well, enjoyable or not is just subjective.

그거 저도 고려는 정말 해봤습니다만, 지금 Madness의 Hp Drain이 하나라도 줄어들면 난이도가 Insane 밑으로 가게 됩니다. Insane의 Hp Drain도 같이 줄이는 것도 생각해 봤습니다만, Madness의 Hp Drain 1 tick을 줄이기 위해서 Insane의 HP drain을 5 tick 낮춰야 합니다. 그렇다고 Circle Size나 Overall Diffculty를 조절할 수는 없는 노릇이고요. 맵 상당 부분을 수정하든지, 리맵하는 것 말곤 방법이 없습니다;

예, 물론 그냥 Madness가 Insane 밑으로 내려가는 걸 감수하는 방법도 있습니다만... 이건 정말 하고 싶지 않습니다.


EDIT : 언랭사유 찾아내 수정했습니다. 소스에 괄호를 사용하는 것이 안 된답니다. 고쳐놓았습니다. 비트맵 리스팅에서 별난이도 5.07도 걱정스러웠는데, 이건 상관없답니다.

I'm terrible.... I really want to hang myself...

I just found critical flaw in my map, [I] diff.

when I check it before bubbled, accidently I push 01:13:340 (1-15) whole combo to some wrong place. (In fact, I'm not sure when it happend exactly.)

These combos are not an fatal error even in wrong place, because of my map is jump map, and It is not so far its spacing. so minyeob give me bubble. but it was really not intentional. It was totaly mistakes. I didn't want this pattern. Originally, It was stacked with 01:10:240 (1-15).

So, I should fix it. I must fix it. because of This mistakes against my logic of jump spacing totally.

I'm waiting next BAT now, I leave this message for it. If this map can pass you, I want to get chance to fix it.
