INTP - The "Engineer"
Temperament: NT (Intellectual)

Primary Function: Introverted Thinking
Population: 2.5% (4% male, 1% female)

Extraverted Introverted
47% 53%

Sensing Intuition
37% 63%

Thinking Feeling

53% 47%

Judging Perceiving

"INTPs are relatively easy-going and amenable to most anything until their principles are violated, about which they may become outspoken and inflexible. They prefer to return, however, to a reserved albeit benign ambiance, not wishing to make spectacles of themselves."

"The INTP is above all a thinker and his inner (private) world is a place governed by a strong sense of logical structure. Every experience is to be rigorously analysed, the task of the INTP's mind is to fit each encountered idea or experience into a larger structure defined by logic."

"INTPs live in the world of theoretical possibilities. They see everything in terms of how it could be improved, or what it could be turned into. They live primarily inside their own minds, having the ability to analyze difficult problems, identify patterns, and come up with logical explanations. They seek clarity in everything, and are therefore driven to build knowledge. They are the "absent-minded professors", who highly value intelligence and the ability to apply logic to theories to find solutions."

"The Architects' distant goal is always to rearrange the environment somehow, to shape, to construct, to devise, whether it be buildings, institutions, enterprises, or theories. They look upon the world -- natural and civil -- as little more than raw material to be reshaped according to their design..."

"INTPs contribute a logical, system-building approach to their work. They like being the architect of a plan, because of the scheming and thinking involved, far more than being the implementer of that plan. Implementation tends to be drudgery. They are content to sit back and think about what might work, given their view of the situation. INTPs may ignore standard operating procedures. The hours that they spend are not what is important to them, but rather the completion of their thought process"

"likes solitude, not revealing, unemotional, rule breaker, avoidant, familiar with the darkside, skeptical, acts without consulting others"

Ha. Must have happened to me, then. Since I was overthinking most of the questions. I'll end up taking it again one day.

Another problem that comes into these tests is that people usually feel like they're obliged to answer a certain way. Due to friends n shit.
CheeseWarlock
Still INTP, YOU TRY TO CHANGE ME, YOU CAN'T CHANGE ME

Ephl's test gave me a stronger I and a weaker P, though, and I actually agree with that.

INTP. E/I and S/N were a little more balanced, little less in the next category and very swayed over in the last.

Ephemeral, I got INTP on yours too. :) I guess that's what I am (I'd think so anyways, based on how it's described). The rates on the second were a bit different though (especially J/P).

Apparently only 1% of females are INTP...

People with similar tastes tend to have similar personalities.
By example, you'd expect for an Airsoft group to have more Extraverted individuals, and for a Gamers group to have more Introverted individuals.

I do must say teh test was bullshit though, there were too many answers that vary with the situation. Also, I do consider myself a "Feeling" person, but I tend to be very cold and thinking if I must be. Similar goes to Extraverted/Introverted.

I actually didn't know it was until I googled the friendship thing you mentioned. I just assumed it was a japanese knockoff, since you people love japanese things.

ISTJs are often called inspectors. They have a keen sense of right and wrong, especially in their area of interest and/or responsibility. They are noted for devotion to duty. Punctuality is a watchword of the ISTJ. The secretary, clerk, or business(wo)man by whom others set their clocks is likely to be an ISTJ.

"INFPs are highly intuitive about people. They rely heavily on their intuitions to guide them, and use their discoveries to constantly search for value in life. They are on a continuous mission to find the truth and meaning underlying things. Every encounter and every piece of knowledge gained gets sifted through the INFP's value system, and is evaluated to see if it has any potential to help the INFP define or refine their own path in life."

INFP - The "Dreamer"

INFPs are introspective, private, creative and highly idealistic individuals that have a constant desire to be on a meaningful path. They are driven by their values and seek peace. Empathetic and compassionate, they want to help others and humanity as a whole. INFPs are imaginative, artistic and often have a talent for language and writing. They can also be described as easygoing, selfless, guarded, adaptable, patient and loyal.
