osu! got its own tablets again, and osu! recently has been getting more hardware/overall use related stuff in general (keyboard/keycaps, deskmats, also the pro osu! tablet is still in works).

... but osu! doesn't have a taiko drum
osu! has support for taiko drums for a long time, and with them working on more hardware related stuff it would be technically possible for them to relase a taiko drum.

This would also technically help relase taiko drums into europe since they aren't really avaible here, which also means it could sell even better than the tablets since most already have a tablet, but not many have a taiko drum.

Do you think osu! partnering with someone to make their own taiko drum would be good? would you buy it, and what price do you think it would be?
Do you think it would look similary to other taiko drums or would it be a compeletely different design?

I don't think there would be enough people who would be interested to buy this (there are like 10+ times less Taiko players than Standard players). Plus it would be very expensive with the import fees (see the new osu! tablet where you have the sheeping more expensive than the tablet itself).

taiko is peak, i already have a drum but i tought of this on a whim.
Once i get into digital art more since im still not the best, i might make a design for the drum even if it will never be used... offically atleast - if i were to make a not too bad design someone would probably make it knowing this community

just get hori controller at this point, it's as official as it can get, though I heard those require modding to be playable

I mean, 3 buttoned "keyboards" already exist for osu (and technically ctb but let's be real nobody uses it for that).

If someone wanted to, they could make a 7k keyboard - but similarly to 3k ones - nobody really needs them.

on amazon, temu, aliexpress etc. - sure you can find those there, but i never met a person who actually used amazon, i used temu so i can get mine and never used it again because the one time i got something there it had clear signs of use despite claiming it was supposed to be new , and my friend used aliexpress a couple of times and had similar problems sometimes + waiting months for the order to arive.

those have shipping basically everywhere so i wouldn't really count it (+ the enarmous shipping fees), but if you feel thats your definition of easily avaible then im not to judge i guess.

the fourth option of my screenshot (starting from the left) has literally no shipping fees and could've arrived on tuesday at most if i ordered it then. it also took me less than a minute to find, probably could find better deals if i actually cared enough to look further
as for quality, i've been using amazon for nearly 10 years and i've only had to refund something once. products always arrive perfectly otherwise
i literally built my entire PC out of amazon deliveries lmao

can't tell if what you're describing is a poland thing or just you assuming your bad experience (and the ones from your friends) means anyone else living in europe can't have a successful taiko drum delivery. but either way, yeah, it is indeed easily available and affordable for me (and for many european people most likely)
