I think that if your current username reveals too much personal information, you can reach out to the osu! support team for a free name change..or just get someone to gift you osu! supporter
You must contact the osu! support team now if you want to change your username due to privacy reason. Here are some emails so that they can hear your request:

Can confirm that accounts@ppy.sh will remove your previously known as, as they did that for my previously known as. Make sure to email from the account associated with your osu! account and have some patience
