00:11:375 (2) - slider is shaped a bit weird, I think you should make it simple here, like this:

I'm not sure how to explain it, but it feels smoother this way compared to the original slider.

00:22:961 (1) - distance snap this, it will throw people off since it is so close to (5). If you distance snap (1) you will also have to snap (2), etc

01:55:651 (1) - distance snap this as well, it's a bit too close to (5)

02:08:892 - why not have the (1) slider like this so it matches the vocal? (it's moved earlier and extended, the shape and orientation of the slider is up to you) :

02:16:134 - I think it would sound better if you extended the (1) slider by one tick. This also applies to 02:17:789. This is what it would look like:

As for the storyboard, I'm not sure where you got the picture of the butterfly from but IF there is one with the wings open, you can switch between the two pictures when the butterfly changes directions, which makes it look like it's flapping (sort of).

[Insane]
00:26:272 (1) - (3) and (1) are too close together considering the spacing before. Maybe try to space it out, kind of like this? :

01:57:720 (7) - spacing of the jumps is inconsistent. Pro tip: while holding alt, you can change the distance snap multiplier in the top right corner. This is useful in your case for the jumps, just set the multiplier somewhere near 2.0 x and rearrange the circles.

I didn't find anything else wrong with the map. Overall it feels right when you play it, the song is also nice :)

00:15:499 (1) - move this one grid down to align with 3 without messing up with distance
00:15:912 (2) - move 1 grid to right or at x:152 y:148 to make a nicer blanket. looked off a bit to the left
00:54:395 (4,5) - how about adding a clap to 4 and removing the clap for 5. At 4 there is still one more beat that can justify putting a clap here and on 5 the vocalist is the only thing here being heard so adding a silent part or taking out clap sounds better and doesn't sound too loud.
01:10:119 (1) - ctrl +J and H then move it to x:164 y:116 then ctrl +G then space the next notes (2,3) accordingly.
01:51:499 (1) - move your 2nd slider point two grids to the left to curve a bit more to make the blanket neater
02:51:085 (1,2) - how about tilting the sliders to the right or left and align 2 with it. it seems pretty bland here

  5. 00:45:243 (6) - Add a new combo here. You don't want your combos too much for easier difficulties. Try to keep the combo count 6 or less.
  6. 00:46:898 (3) - Flow feels weird on this slider. Try re-arranging this slider like this:

  3. 01:11:312 (1,2) - These notes are not perfectly stacked. Try again. Also, the notes at 02:06:760 (4,5,6) and 02:40:277 (4,1) are not perfectly stacked as well.
  4. 01:56:415 (3,4) - You have inconsistent spacing between these notes. You can try re-arranging the slider like this:

The mod has been WIP for like 2 weeks but I haven't had time to actually finish it because of preparations for an extended international trip that I'm actually leaving for in a few hours. I apologize for the delay, and also for not finishing the whole mod. I asked Lust; hopefully someone else from the queue can finish the mod for Normal/Easy. If not, then I promise I'll finish it when I come back. Sorry for the bother.

This color indicates important (possibly rankability) suggestions.

Because of the nature of this mod, I'm adding two other categories specifically for this, although I'm sure you could've figured them out anyway:
Strikeout for mods that I had done earlier that are no longer applicable. Ignore these unless there is bolded afterwards.
Bolded for issues regarding old stricken mods that perhaps still apply.


[General]
    1. I actually looked at the same song 2 years ago, and that map had the title in caps. I did a quick search, and it seems that the proper title is indeed in all caps.
    2. Consider shortening the video to save space? Your mapping ends 03:09:243 - at the end of the last kiai here, leaving 30 extra seconds of video.
    3. 03:20:819 (3) - The break beginning here does not fit. The music continues to build up, indicating that you should map it, and the break leaves the ending too weak; additionally, pkmnyab mapped this part out. You don't want that inconsistency.
    [*]03:09:233 - There is a weird break here that should not exist. I specified in the Insane mod.

    [Hard]
      1. Perhaps it's just me, but I think HP6 might be a bit high for a low BPM Hard? I'd try HP5.
      2. 00:05:096 (4) - The difference of this slider from the rest turns that pattern from an interesting pattern into regular ugly partial overlaps.
      3. 00:05:510 (1) - The different spacing between 4 and this compared to the other sliders in 4's pattern is a real turn-off.
      4. 00:06:131 (2) - In a hard this 2 overlapped on the previous 4 really looks bad and probably plays bad too.
      5. 00:25:372 (5) - The spacing really makes it look like this 5 should be played as a 1/2 gap from the previous slider.
      6. 00:47:924 (5,6) - I don't know why you spaced these further from 4 when they are close together. The song doesn't change drastically the merit that.
      7. 01:04:268 (4,1) - The 1 reaaaally does not look nice.
      8. 01:05:924 (3) - I've refrained from commenting on most of these, but the 3 really should be leading in more directionally from the 2, like this. The method I posted seems to work with 1 as well. Be on the lookout for other problems like this that I didn't point out.
      9. 01:36:544 (1) - Not as bad as other instances but this miiiiight cause problems like playing it as 1/2.
      10. 01:44:819 (4,1,2,3,4) - This part honestly looks like it would be played all 1/2.
      11. 02:01:372 (1) - Spacing alert! That type of structure is commonly used to have a larger jump at the end, which would trick the player into playing that as 1/2! Either space it farther or make it a complete overlap under 4.
      12. 02:16:889 (2,3,4) - I really have no clue how wise this is...
      13. 02:41:717 (2,3,4,1) - Make this standardized polygons, so more like this, as in so the end of 2 also makes a triangle with 3 and 4.
      14. 02:50:200 (1) - Another spacing issue, this 1 would be played like 1/2.
      15. 03:33:647 (4) - Space this out, that slider is really dysfunctional with such a strong overlap and it won't hurt (it will help) to break DS for this.

        1. 00:03:855 (1) - Ctrl+G. Flows better with earlier pattern and works nicely with next slider.
        2. 00:04:682 (3,4) - Also consider using Ctrl+G on these two as well.
        3. 00:05:096 (4) - This would look better spaced closer to 3, as the other 3 sliders before it are like that. See what I mean? (the 4 slider in question is selected) It looks like you improved this after I wrote this (this was earlier when I was modding this) but it looks like 4 could still be a bit closer.
        4. 00:08:406 (4) - Ctrl+G on this? I use this technique a lot too, and you used the Ctrl+G on 2, so it's kind of imbalanced without it on 4. Looks like you fixed this via someone else's mod as this was one of my older suggestions before I ran out of time, but below mod still applies.
        5. 00:08:819 (1,2) - If you accepted above suggestion, Ctrl+G these for better feel. Wow ok you changed that part up.
        6. 00:27:863 (3) - This spacing is extremely misleading, it's literally spaced the exact same distance between earlier 1/2 and mentioned 1/1. Space this out further away somewhere it can be properly spaced, please.
        7. 00:28:682 (1) - Misleading spacing like above until you fixed that.
        8. 00:30:337 (6,1) - The 1 looks a bit weird with the 6 breathing on its neck.
        9. 00:32:612 (6,1) - Same problem as above, the jumps you had right before make the player think this should be played immediately as 1/2.
        10. 00:41:717 (5,2) - The 5 and 2 overlapping is just kinda icky.
        11. 01:21:234 (4) - Why do this back again? Why not just make it a nice, complete pattern and continue the clockwise rotation instead of that ugly, awkward perpendicular return overlap?
        12. 01:55:578 (1) - This misleading spacing is a huge no-no.
        13. 02:03:027 (6,7,8) - This pattern looks a bit off with each slider, could be improved.
        14. 02:13:579 (4,5) - The blanket is off (see this)
        15. 02:48:131 (1) - This spacing might be a bit misleading, considering the spacing and direction of the jumps before it.
        16. 02:53:924 (5) - I don't like this being spaced farther than the other 3 sliders in the pattern.

Well here we go!
  1. 00:02:199 (1) - I highly suggest you do not have such a strong sound as a slider tick. Slider ticks encompass passive hitsounding (you are not hitting on them), which should be effectively a tad weaker than the hit objects you do hit (active hitsounds)
  2. 00:04:682 (4) - This can better blanket 00:03:855 (2) - 's hitburst
  3. 00:02:199 (1,2,3,4) - This is a very confusing pattern to have. You see because of the low AR, (4) appears before (3) is even hit, and if you follow the flow coming from the beginning slider, it leads down to (4)! (3) is a little off to the side and hard to see, and the way it stands now the flow is kind of awkward. Try changing the pattern up a bit, or you can try stacking (3) on top of (4)
  4. 00:04:682 (4,1,2) - Now this is also a tad confusing, (2) was stacked underneath (4)'s slider end and hitburst, no way will an easy player be expecting something like that. You can move that hit circle to the end of the slider and then adjust the following pattern accordingly. However if you do not follow this suggestion, please at least fix the blanket between 00:05:510 (1,2) - . You can use (2)'s approach circle to help you in fixing this! If you are lazy to do that, you can just move the slider endpoint to 256:352
  5. 00:07:579 (4,5) - This blanket is slightly off. However, I would put a better curve on the slider, it will look better
  6. 00:10:062 (2,3) - This blanket is also slightly off at the beginning.
  7. 00:07:993 (5,1) - Weird flow here. You go down with (5) and then back up with (1)'s repeat. You can move (1) down and have it blanket 00:10:062 (2) - instead
  8. 00:15:855 (2,3) - Blanket is off
  9. 00:15:441 (1,2) - Eh linear flow is kind of uninteresting, try putting a curve in in the path of these circles
  10. 00:17:924 (1,2) - (2) isn't adequately blanketing (1)'s slider end. You can ctrl+g (1) and use its approach circle to help in fixing this
  11. 00:23:717 (2) - Move this to 82:127 so that its slider end stacks with 00:22:062 (4) - 's hitburst perfectly
  12. 00:24:544 (3,1) - Check spacing
  13. 00:25:372 (1,2,3,4) - These sliders seem kind of randomly placed. Try this pattern or something similar to spice things up a bit! Note I put this to AR0 so you can see what is going on all in one screenshot.
    After that I had (3) blanket (4)'s slider which was also doing the same rotation thing. Be sure to adjust the following pattern so that it can fit something like this
  14. 00:31:579 (1,2) - (Nazi) This blanket is a bit off
  15. 00:33:648 (2,3,1) - Another random bunch of sliders, try and form them in to nice patterns! 00:34:475 (3) - I actually suggest you move this slider down and invert the curve so that it avoids the small overlap with 00:36:544 (3) - .
  16. 00:36:544 (3,4) - More weird flow, you go down with the circles before the slider and then go back up with the slider. You can try something like this
  17. 00:42:751 (2,3,4) - Confusing pattern, the flow from the starting slider leads to (4), and not (3)! This will throw players off expecting (3) to be in (4)'s place
  18. 00:45:233 (1) - Whoa weird out of place slider shape, just use a regular three point slider curve on this. The way how it is now is kind of (for lack of a better word sorry) ugly. I know its going to blanket 00:46:889 (3) - 's slider shape but its way too far in the time line for it to be noticeable
  19. 00:45:233 (1,2) - Huge jump! Try and keep it 1.00x spacing. Don't manipulate spacing to fit a pattern, manipulate spacing to fit the song!
  20. 00:48:544 (1,2) - You can form these sliders better
  21. 00:49:372 (2,3) - have (2) blanket (3)'s slider end and vice versa
  22. 00:51:441 (5,1) - Blanket is really off here
  23. 00:53:510 (3) - To cover all the beats, you can extend the slider to 00:54:337
  24. 00:54:337 (4,5) - Overmapping, there is really no beat to follow here, so you can remove these notes.
  25. 01:04:682 (3,1) - Blanket is a bit off here
  26. 01:13:372 (1,2) - ^
  27. 01:15:441 (1) - You can use this slider shape to blanket 01:16:682 (2) - !
  28. 01:18:337 (1) - I would move this over a bit more so that its not too close to 01:16:682 (2) - . Then adjust the spacing in the following patterns
  29. 01:42:751 (1,2,3) - The blanket is off here.
  30. 01:45:647 (2) - I would move this slider a bit further away from 01:44:819 (1) - . Its too close how it is now
  31. 01:51:441 (1) - You can actually use this slider's shape to blanket 01:51:027 (5) - ! Moving the second slider point to 245:176 and the red anchor point to 261:227 should accomplish this.
  32. 01:51:441 (1,1) - This is kind of awkward. Try having 01:53:096 (1) - Blanket over 01:51:441 (1) - 's slider start, like this! It'll be a bit more cleaner and will flow way better
    Be sure to adjust the following pattern accordingly
  33. 02:01:372 (1,2) - Blanket is slightly off here towards the end
  34. 02:06:337 (3,4) - Linear flow is a bit weird. Try and put a curve so that it leads up to the long slider! Try these coordinates:
    02:06:337 (3) - 319:350
    02:06:751 (4) - 417:335
    02:07:165 (1) - 400:236
  35. 02:11:302 (7,1,2) - the triangle curve here is a bit too harsh, try and have a nice lead in!
  36. 02:14:200 (5) - (Nazi) 57:151 so that the straight slider smacks right in to the middle of this hit circle. Be sure to adjust the spacing of the next circle
  37. 02:14:612 - The break starting here is kinda long, try mapping it out a bit
  38. 02:28:682 (2,3) - The blanket is a bit off here
  39. 02:32:820 (1,2) - Have (1) blanket (2) and vice versa, would be a bit neater
  40. 02:38:613 (2,3) - (Nazi) (3) isn't quite blanketing (2)'s slider end
  41. 02:55:579 (3,1) - Blanket is off
  42. 02:56:820 (2,3,1) - Although there is an NC on the slider, the stack is pretty confusing. Newer players will probably hit the slider instead of moving up to (3)
  43. 02:57:648 (1,2) - Blanket can be improved
  44. 03:07:579 (1) - Why spinner, nothing here really for it to go on. Just remove it and map it out
  45. 03:20:923 - You can definitely map this break out. It is kind of abrupt and comes in the middle of nowhere

  3. 00:40:268 (5,1,2) - This is a lot to click in a short amount of time. Almost confusing! Players will not be expecting to click this many times. Especially with a stack as well! It would be best if you would unstack the circle and slider, at least that will clear up some of the confusion
  4. 00:53:510 (1) - Lower the volume of this spinner's end so that it creates a nice fade. Just create a new green line and set it to soft sampleset with 5% volume
  5. 01:19:993 (1) - This slider seems a bit out of place, would be best if you had just a simple three point curve slider in its place
  6. 01:20:820 (2,3,4) - Instead of a triangle, have the circles create a curve in to the break
  7. 02:39:027 (3,4) - Blanket can be improved here

  1. The quality of the video is kind of blah, try and find a new one?
  2. The correct title is HEART's HOMING INSTINCT (i know, because I tried this song out too :3)
  3. Add kissou honnou to the tags
  4. Some hitsounds are a bit too loud and overwhelming, check back through the mapset to see if you can spot any in particular
