Rules

Yes, copied from McEndu again xd
  1. Observe osu! community rules. The consequences of breaking this can go beyond the scope of this game.
  2. General:
    1. Do not discuss about this game outside this thread while it is ongoing.
    2. No users other than "alive" participants can post in the game thread.
    3. Do not quote any PMs sent to you by the moderator. This includes PMs made-up by the posting player. Paraphrasing is acceptable.
  3. Setup:
    1. This game uses the Fire And Ice setup with slight modifications.
    2. The game currently consists of
      1. 2 Fire Planets (Fire Mafia Goons)
      2. 2 Ice Planets (Ice Mafia Goons)
      3. 1 pair of Double-tap Tiles (Town Best Friends)
      4. 1 Golden Planet (Town Doctor)
      5. 6 Vanilla Tiles (Vanilla Townie)
    3. Daystart
    4. The nightkill of the Fire Planet and the Ice Planet will fail if both groups of mafia target the same person.
    5. The mafia groups have a factional one-time bulletproof
    6. Once in the game, both of the scum teams may ask me to send a measaage to the other scum team. They will be unable to know who the addresser is.
    7. Fire Planet hits and Ice Planet hits have different kill flavor (i.e. the moderator will make it clear which Mafia team was responsible for each kill).
    8. The double-tap tiles know one another's role, but cannot communicate with one other privately.
  4. Base mechanics:
    1. There is at most 132 hours for the day and at least 36 hours for the night. The soft deadline for day is 120 hours.
    2. Public discussion during the night is disallowed.
    3. A player with night action can use their action by sending dm to me
    4. Players with night actions can change their target as many times as they wish during the night.
  5. Voting:
    1. When voting, type "VOTE: <playername>" in bold face (for this forum, [b] tags). Anything otherwise would not constitute a vote.
    2. Votes within quotes or spoiler tags would be ignored.
    3. All votes for player names not in the list of signed-up players, including aliases for a player, would be ignored.
    4. Type "UNVOTE" in bold face to remove your vote.
    5. When more than 50% of all players vote for a single player, no more votes or unvotes would register. The player with the most votes would be executed afterwards.
    6. If the day deadline is reached with no one reaching a 50% majority, no one will be executed.
    7. Players can vote for the pseudo-candidate "No execution". Should more than 50% of players vote for this, the day will end without an execution.
  6. Activity:
    1. A player should post at least once every 48 hours during a day.
    2. A player may receive a prod 48 hours after their last post. Should the player remain inactive, they may receive a further prod every 24 hours.
    3. When a player received 3 prods during a single in-game day, or received more than 5 prods overall inclusive, the player would be replaced. This is not considered a force-replacement, and after the player posts, they may contact the moderator to cancel the replacement.
    4. A player that has not posted during the last in-game day is considered missing. Once a missing player posts, they are no longer missing.
    5. A missing player can be voted on and executed, but is considered dead for all other purposes, including for counting the number of votes required for execution and for determining the winner.
    6. All missing players are modkilled at the end of a game.
    7. A player may declare themself to be on vacation or have lost access to the internet; this is known as vacation/lost access, or V/LA. Players on V/LA would not receive prods and would not be considered missing.
  7. Replacement:
    1. A player can request a replacement. Additionally, the moderator may force-replace a player to enforce the rules.
    2. Rules for determining missing players apply for players being replaced.
    3. If a player went missing while being replaced, the player is no longer considered missing after a replacement is found.
    4. Players requesting a replacement can freely talk before a replacement is found. Force-replaced players cannot post in the game thread nor in any private channels used for the game.
  8. Miscellaneous:
    1. My mod color is Apple Green(#8CE600), and my co-mod's mod color is Cerise(#DE3163). Please refrain from using them.
    2. Obfuscation, including post editing, steganography, hexadecimal, Base64 and classical or modern cryptography, cannot be used by anyone except the moderator.
    3. Exchanging cryptographic keys, symmetric or asymmetric, is also considered obfuscation.
    4. The moderator reserves the right to update the rules when loopholes, errors and obscurities are found. Players would be notified in the public thread when the rules change. Rule changes apply immediately upon edit of this post.
  9. Penalties on violation:
    1. Quoting PMs would result in a modkill.
    2. Violating other rules would result in a warning on the first two violations, and a force replacement on the third.

    You win when all threats to the chart have been eliminated and there is at least one player in your faction alive.
  4. Double-tap Tile:
    Welcome, [Player Name]! You are a double-tap tile along with your partner, [Player Name]
    Abilities:
    Your weapon is your vote and your partner, you have no night actions.
    Win condition:
    You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and there is at least one town player alive.
  5. Vanilla Tile
    Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Vanilla Tile

And the game goes on and on until someone reached their win condition. What's more, if 2 mafia groups hit the same player, the kill would fail. Hopefully I made myself clear, please ask if I didn't.

The 2 small modifications to the vanilla setup (https://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Fire_and_Ice) includes:
  1. The 2 mafia groups have a one-shot bulletproof
  2. There are a pair of town best friends who know each other's identity but can't communicate with each other.
