Sam’s last action was to make an inquiry on WELUVMYUKA. This leaves some possibility for them to convince their teammate to help with taking a vengeful action.
Scenario 2 would be the most likely one TBH.Kobold84 wrote:
Hm, interesting, a lot happened during the night it seems. Considering the ice kill went through and fire kill did not, they clearly did not target the same person. Still not sure about all the rules, so can be wrong about some scenarios, but the following must've happened:
1) fire planet could not figure out who to target, which is quite possible due to IAVS dying;
2) the second fire planet member was/is inactive during the night and did nothing while IAVS is dead, which is also possible, especially because the night only ended AFTER the deadline;
3) fire planet actually did target someone and the town doctor saved them, seems quite possible, now we only need to consider WHO exactly was saved and WHY, but the doctor should probably not reveal themselves yet.

why do you think inactivity = scum? in fact i think his lack of activity may suggest he's just a townie. if he WAS a scum then he wouldn't act so nonchalantly to being absolutely inactive throughout day 1. plus his last post was from 4 days ago.Joon Yorigami wrote:

I said "definitely not a scum" because gamla felt pessimistic at the end and decided to vote himself cuz he thought he would be voted out. That's why I doubt that he's not a scum at all. (But ngl his PFP really fits as a fire planet lol)Kobold84 wrote:

For that we'd have to notice connections between players or try to single out anyone suspicious. For the former, I didn't really notice anything odd, I think the winning strategy for them is to try to be as dead/neutral as possible during the day, because if we don't vote, there's no chance we get them and they will continue to kill us each night.GamlA wrote:

What you are saying is reasonable, especially the second part. I remember there was a similar pattern in Aireunaeus actions in a previous mafia game where he was a scum. All days were him saying something along the lines of "there's no one suspicious for me, I'll abstain from voting" and that led to scum outnumbering vanillas. Could just be playing style shenanigans rather than a role-dependent behaviour, but honestly it lines up with how the ice planet operates almost too well.nominomu wrote:

Well the reason why i didn’t want to vote anyone out (even the people whom are inactive), is because there is a lack of evidence that they are a scum. I can’t just vote a random guy and they’ll end up as a vanilla type. If someone makes a suspicious move then i actually would vote them of course. I do confirm that just voting out noone is kinda a dumb move but I’ll be more active into finding suspicious and vote anyone. It’s my 3rd time playing an online mafia game.Kobold84 wrote:

Just like nominomu pointed out, suspicious moves don't come out of nowhere, you have to use your words and your vote if you want to force people into unfavorable positions. Yes, certainly we don't want to vote out vanillas, but your vote alone doesn't get the target executed on the spot. See how much we got just from this short exchange? And no one died (yet). It's okay to be wrong, just find whoever's looking the most dubious to you.Aireunaeus wrote:

Ooh, I seeKobold84 wrote:
Yes, it's true that I seem like a legitimate target, but this doesn't mean it is what will happen. Two possible scenarios that could be in play:
a) it's a ploy to make me seem as a scum, it also redirects discussions from "who is suspicious" to "why is kobold not targetted", seems simple but works well, I assume even if it's true there's some hidden meaning to it as well;
b) ice planet decided to not target me because they don't render me as much of a threat compared to a possible fire planet member, for example, who they are trying to get rid.
The second scenario also implies my deduction wasn't entirely correct when I was suspecting Aireunaeus and nominomu to an extent, but doesn't clear them 100%.
Why did fire planet killed him though? They could have use him as a decoyKobold84 wrote:
We now know Julian was a scum, so it'd be good to scrutinize their actions one more time.
Day 1: complete inaction (confirmed by being allegedly replaced by the organizator), this means whoever is an ice planet was acting alone on the first day and night. Not much information, but worth remembering. To me, that means that one ice planet scum was probably not as risky and spent the day rather passively, knowing full well their team is in a bad spot.
Day 2: Joon accused Julian to be a fire planet due to his low activity.
ClevelandsMyBro defended Julian and remarked how inactivity is more likely to indicate he's a townie. GamlA did not defend Julian, but asked about this accusation.
After a while ClevelandsMyBro decided to put suspicion on Julian as well (without voting however).
Julian defended himself and said he doesn't have a lot of free time currently, while proposing other options to who could be a scum. He also slightly accused GamIA of being a fire planet based on a post of IAVS. The latter to me speaks a lot, because his low activity does seem genuine and this accusation could spiral out of control very fast and put GamIA at a risk of being voted out. Not worth it, if he was his ice partner.
Night 2: Julian died.
Not sure, did they even know he was an ice planet? Even then, he didn't seem very suspicious to be used as that. My assumption is that the fire planet mostly targets relatively silent players, I guess in order to remove people who are hiding? Or they know something I don't.Rezq wrote:

thats me, im the other double-tap (or at least i claim to be)Kobold84 wrote:
Also I know this is risky, but maybe it's a good time for a double-tap to reveal themselves. If there's only a single person coming out, this means we have one less suspect off the list as they're 100% a townie. If there'd more than one however, then one of them is 100% a scum, which is also good for us and at the very least we can decide between the two (or even three? but unlikely) instead of trying to find the suspicious person among all of us.
Since we're 5 vs 2 right now, we absolutely have to get a planet today, because otherwise the very next day our number could shrink down to 3 vs 2, which is... well, you can imagine how bad that would be.
or, they could have targeted the other ice planet, since its a factional bulletproof, if im understanding correctly? if they did target julian 1st night i wouldnt really see a reason to wait until the 3rd night to target him again, other than maybe trying to trick us into thinking they targeted the other ice planet first nightRezq wrote:

Ohh, that's a good observation, but as nominomu said this begs a question: why was Julian targeted on day 1 and then only on day 3?GamlA wrote:
Now we understand, because of Julian_Kaiser's murder, that the fire planets' absence of a kill on night 1 was due to the depletion of the ice planets' bulletproof.
