Wait, does this mean you will be targeted as well because you are pretty active and experienced?Kobold84 wrote:
Interesting, interesting. So far, ice planet kills are very methodical, I can understand what they're doing and why.
But fire planets are weird, ignoring that no-kill moment first night, I wouldn't really expect them to come for Shaun last night, IAMVERYSMART actions on the first day were suspicious as well. I assume they had an internal fight at night #1, then the one left alive proceeded to kill Shaun, who was extremely inactive at the time, for whatever reason.
Now, as for the strategy for the current day I would propose to single out an ice planet, that way it's possible for double taps to reveal themselves later without much issue, which would massively help us. If you don't understand why, then it's simple: if double-taps reveal themselves with two living ices we won't be able to tell if they are real or if they're ice planets pretending to be them.
hey, I warn you again, no night-public-conversation, if you want to say something, please speak it out earlierRezq wrote:

Ooh, I seeKobold84 wrote:
Yes, it's true that I seem like a legitimate target, but this doesn't mean it is what will happen. Two possible scenarios that could be in play:
a) it's a ploy to make me seem as a scum, it also redirects discussions from "who is suspicious" to "why is kobold not targetted", seems simple but works well, I assume even if it's true there's some hidden meaning to it as well;
b) ice planet decided to not target me because they don't render me as much of a threat compared to a possible fire planet member, for example, who they are trying to get rid.
The second scenario also implies my deduction wasn't entirely correct when I was suspecting Aireunaeus and nominomu to an extent, but doesn't clear them 100%.
Why did fire planet killed him though? They could have use him as a decoyKobold84 wrote:
We now know Julian was a scum, so it'd be good to scrutinize their actions one more time.
Day 1: complete inaction (confirmed by being allegedly replaced by the organizator), this means whoever is an ice planet was acting alone on the first day and night. Not much information, but worth remembering. To me, that means that one ice planet scum was probably not as risky and spent the day rather passively, knowing full well their team is in a bad spot.
Day 2: Joon accused Julian to be a fire planet due to his low activity.
ClevelandsMyBro defended Julian and remarked how inactivity is more likely to indicate he's a townie. GamlA did not defend Julian, but asked about this accusation.
After a while ClevelandsMyBro decided to put suspicion on Julian as well (without voting however).
Julian defended himself and said he doesn't have a lot of free time currently, while proposing other options to who could be a scum. He also slightly accused GamIA of being a fire planet based on a post of IAVS. The latter to me speaks a lot, because his low activity does seem genuine and this accusation could spiral out of control very fast and put GamIA at a risk of being voted out. Not worth it, if he was his ice partner.
Night 2: Julian died.
Not sure, did they even know he was an ice planet? Even then, he didn't seem very suspicious to be used as that. My assumption is that the fire planet mostly targets relatively silent players, I guess in order to remove people who are hiding? Or they know something I don't.Rezq wrote:

thats me, im the other double-tap (or at least i claim to be)Kobold84 wrote:
Also I know this is risky, but maybe it's a good time for a double-tap to reveal themselves. If there's only a single person coming out, this means we have one less suspect off the list as they're 100% a townie. If there'd more than one however, then one of them is 100% a scum, which is also good for us and at the very least we can decide between the two (or even three? but unlikely) instead of trying to find the suspicious person among all of us.
Since we're 5 vs 2 right now, we absolutely have to get a planet today, because otherwise the very next day our number could shrink down to 3 vs 2, which is... well, you can imagine how bad that would be.
or, they could have targeted the other ice planet, since its a factional bulletproof, if im understanding correctly? if they did target julian 1st night i wouldnt really see a reason to wait until the 3rd night to target him again, other than maybe trying to trick us into thinking they targeted the other ice planet first nightRezq wrote:
Ahhh, so in the first night they targeted Julian but his bulletproof activated. So they know that Julian is one of the Ice Planet and targeted him again

Wait, can the golden planet kill?
Ohh, that's a good observation, but as nominomu said this begs a question: why was Julian targeted on day 1 and then only on day 3?GamlA wrote:
Now we understand, because of Julian_Kaiser's murder, that the fire planets' absence of a kill on night 1 was due to the depletion of the ice planets' bulletproof.
And because of the ice planets never missing their target, we can say that Team Fire still has their bulletproof.

dont think theres no reasoning behind the wagon imo. voting out someone would be beneficial at this later stages of the game. would rather take the gamble than allow scums to take control of the night but thats from my experience.Kobold84 wrote:

Well, now he did provide the reason for that, but last day it wasn't as obvious. Guess that's that.ClevelandsMyBro wrote:

On the other hand, I do kinda suspect gamla as a scum, because smart guy telling that he’s "100% not a scum". That kinda reminds me like the word "definitely" Or "totally". these words remind me that they'll use them in an ironic way. so it could be a possibility that gamla is a scum by any chance. Soo

I think that both of the planets targeted the same person, it makes more sense because no one has been killed last night. Maybe ice planet broken the fire's protection may or may not be true, but that means the fire planet didn't kill anyone last night, which is unlikely. Anyways, the same tactics as before, it's better gamble for the vote rather just do nothing. So,nominomu wrote:
also how were there literally no eliminations last night? im expecting that the ice planet may have targeted fire which activated the bulletproof (ice planet kills were successful in nights 1, 2, and 3, which means the bulletproof hasn't been activated until possibly night 4). but then that means fire planet didnt target anyone last night, which is strange.
unless, if both planets targeted the same person, which is probably more likely. theres only 6 players left (and theres a good chance that both planets targeted me since i revealed as double-tap)
(y'know, it would be really funny if they do that again this night)
(yes please target me again :3c)
It seems likely they were targeting you, a confirmed townie is always a pain during the day for scums.nominomu wrote:

Can't deny this honestly, it was a pure gamble so these results were always possible. Which is why I would spend more time voting and thinking about votes on this day to avoid doing that again. Last thing we want is to turn last days into thoughtless bandwagons.Aireunaeus wrote:
It wasn't really a great idea to eliminate gamla. But that's pretty suspicious that kobold and a few others easily agreed to it without any proper suspicion about him.

That's directly related to my posts above, I explained how there's only one double tap left and it'd be good if he reveals himself, because we either get a single claim meaning it's a confirmed vanilla or we get multiple claims meaning one of them is definitely a scum. At that point I was making sure nominomu is the real double tap, because not everyone posted on that day yet, so he still could be false-claiming. Not exactly sure how that's a slip.ClevelandsMyBro wrote:
unrelated but i also raised my suspicion here with a scum/town slip community/forums/topics/1779619?n=258
reason being because kobold is fire plabet meanwhile the double tap was killed by ice planet and that could lead to a misunderstanding

If I was a scum, I wouldn't want double-taps to reveal themselves at any point, as this would mean there's one less suspect and it'd be more likely I myself would get voted out.
This was my post before "No one else to claim the role of a double-tap?", notice the singular usage of the role — I definitely did not forget who died, you can check the timing yourself. But that's a pretty weak accusation regardless.Kobold84 wrote:
