Just like nominomu pointed out, suspicious moves don't come out of nowhere, you have to use your words and your vote if you want to force people into unfavorable positions. Yes, certainly we don't want to vote out vanillas, but your vote alone doesn't get the target executed on the spot. See how much we got just from this short exchange? And no one died (yet).
