It feels unreal. We were all acting like she's immortal and making jokes about it, but she's actually gone now.
To think that she reigned over the UK for 70 years and that the next queen would likely come hundreds of years later is insane.
It's gonna take a while to get used to God save the King.

At least the Irish are having a field day with this one lmao.

It was very odd. We of course knew about her declining health for a long time, but yesterday it all came out of nowhere with the news alert and every newsroom seemingly preparing to announce her death. Then it was confirmed after 6:30, presumably when she was already dead, and I was heading off to play a really nice gig.

Just surreal.
