specially Whitecat, when they have some play where the most players can do nowadays, they just add 'godmode' or 'choke' to their thumbnail. Putting some dumb photoshopped thumbnail and get 0 brain-cell fans saying 'If he farm, he can take over Mrekk easily, but he didn't care' while not realizing Whitecat is not as impressive as before anymore. I used to be a whitecat fan, but not anymore. He is just now a random pp farmer with no specific skillset(except great performance in the tournament), but building himself as a 'god' in this game which kind of disgusted me. He should get little respect unless he really show something instead of uploading random doo-doo.

In my opinion

imo WhiteCat is still as good as before, he just doesn't farm anymore because it's just not worth it as a former #1 or he doesn't want to farm idk. See him playing extremely hard tech maps, hitting crosscreen jumps, spaced streams or even absurd patterns on Twitch or Youtube proves that he's not only in the peformance points. the fact that he does great performance in the tournament doesn't mean that he has no specific skillset. everyone has their own or several skillset preferences where they can show everything they have. WhiteCat is probably one of the greatest player of osu! with Vaxei, Mrekk, Cookiezi,... and I don't mind if people call him as a very good player because he kinda deserves it. (I'm not a WhiteCat stan btw)

For clickbait, I have nothing to say except that what he does to make people watch the video is never a real "clickbait". I mean, people are here to watch WhiteCat doing crazy plays and they exactly get what they want so no one is jebaited in history. I am of course referring to the recent videos.

I mean "godmode" is basically just saying "holy sh*t! I popped off!" not really saying that they themselves are gods.

also is that even considered clickbaiting? the title literally says what happens in the video...

First you got definition of clickbait wrong and "Godmode" the word itself has no 1 definition. Some say godmode is when a player do a score which only countable player can do and for some its when you a hit a pattern/score which you cant do it maximum time.

there are not many unique maps now which player dont have insane scores, Players have to put hr on them just to increase the difficulty

on videos those map dont look hard but when you play it by yourself its insane

I think whitecat is the least clickbaity std youtuber rn, cpol is from time to time calling like 7miss 12932939pp chokes, 6 digits are spamming godmode clips and gettin tongs of views and that sort of stuff

I think whitecat thumbnails are just good , but not offensively baity
