I was looking at very old ranked maps and came across this map with a mapper named Neo@lex and wondered how he got this name.

Do you know any other people with the same or similar unique names like this?

Arctos Sagittario and Osu Tatakae Ouendan with the character amount exceed the current limit.

Card N'FoRcE with an apostrophe, and just like @ it's impossible to add it nowadays.

ckw128@gmail.com for a literal email for some reason.

Very likely registered their account before they limited what special characters you can use, and perhaps it didn't get changed afterwards either because a) they just didn't do that to players with those names or b) because they already ranked maps with that name. Honestly have never seen this sort of thing before, very intriguing

I think old osu! Before current one 2021, It doesn't have limitation characters, and can use some offensive words. Some beatmap comment there is Guest name and even using Japanese/Korean/Mandarin name on it some old maps before 2018
