Just a quick remod about the skin cause it's been bothering me for a while.

There is no "%" and thus most of the time with plenty of skins, the accuracy looks odd due to the numbers not looking like the percent icon.

Having a scorbar-ki image looks off without a custom lifebar to go with it on most skins.

This is just an opinion, but I think there should be a center pin on the spinner so people don't complain about not being able to spin after this is ranked.

You don't need to give kudos for this post, just wanted to get that off my chest.

before i look at this again, "sugarcult dead living" should not be in the tags. It is redundant. If i find nothing else wrong, i can fix it myself.

EDIT: popping bubble. timing is terrible. Working on finding the correct timing See posts to follow. Be sure to resnap all notes and double check to make sure everything is in place


Also, while the HP Bar has a very nice effect to it, it does not appear over spinners or during the audio lead-in time. I highly recommend not using it (sorry! ^^; ) and instead just use a normally skinned one (still can be the same design though, just not SB'd in

Also the silent slider ticks sound terrible. I was discussing this with #mod and we think its because the timing is so off which makes it sound terrible.

Why the hell do you have both a wav and mp3 for normal-slidertick?

OK, so I took some time to identify the major problem with timing here...
...BPM is fine; what actually is a bit tricky is that the offset 'resets'. This is what I got so far:

1st: 160.10, 756
2nd: 160.10, 18932
3rd: 160.10, 66714
4th: 160.10, 72897

Notice how each of these changes keep on landing on Red Ticks. This is the best I got so far.

I lost 10% accuracy to your skin, ugh. Though the only thing I really disliked was the slider reverse arrow...

Remove your normal whistles or if you really want to keep them, try reducing the volume.

Overall I'd say you should increase your normal hit volume a bit, song is relatively loud so match it up.

Add a couple finishes since you only used them mostly at the start and the end, it'll make your map a bit more epic. Possibly silence your slidertick, at least on sliders like 03:30:810 (1)

01:49:998 (3) - Kinda off too
03:09:074 (1,2,3,4) - Sounds a bit weird to me but eh...possibly add a circle at 03:09:823, though I don't dig how that sounds either...hm
03:12:259 - Awesome drumroll spot here, too bad you don't like streams or something :( If you want to make a Hard/Insane, I'd recommend streaming like spots.
03:12:822 (1) - Alright. Starting here this ending section felt fairly empty. I get the feeling that there should've been a circle when there wasn't, perhaps you'd like to map this a bit more?
03:19:942 (2) - Probably fits better as a spinner or long slider, up to you. Just sounds a bit odd to me but nothing too against it.
03:33:996 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14) - Arrange this in a pattern? Also the finish spam on the end isn't necessary IMO.

I really think you could map this more, or make an Insane. If you don't want to, that's ok.

I'm sorry but I'll have to butt in on Gladi's arguments about the timing points. With the current timing that it is now, please head to the Timing Tab (F3) and listen to the metronome. Second: 160.11BPM, 12935ms
Third: 160.11BPM, 66710ms
Fourth: 160.11BPM, 72893ms
EDIT3: Uh, minus 11 all of those to follow Gladi's ticks. I just realized how much it works better and how late I suggested the offset... was I half-asleep or something? o_O

The SB'd flashes happen 1/8 before the beat is pressed and goes the brightest when it's pressed. The gives it an unnatural feeling, I think you should make the flash start with the beat.
Also maybe keep the flash on longer, because now it hurts my eyes a little.

Starred. I won't do any proto-bubbling or anything- ask the guy that popped it in the first place.

  2. "PrototypeAlexMerceroo.jpg" is [0_o's Life]'s background, but its dimensions are bigger than what it should be. Please resize/crop so width is 1024px or less.
  3. osz filesize is a bit over the top. You need to delete something from the skin and/or reduce the quality of something so it fits the ranking standards.

  1. Sorry to say it, but I don't approve of the skin at all. Maybe a hitcircle would be nice, and score numbers too, but some things like the reversearrow or the sectionpass images look just plain ugly.

  2. Combo colors aren't the same on all difficulties. Is this intended?

Some big difficulty disparities in some places... there is some non-consistency in being too easy than what I feel seems to be right for Alive.
The choruses seem a bit lacking in hits.

SPECIFICS - 01:14:755 (1) - Try hitnote on "Ve-" and slider on "st-". This just nagged at me like a parasite.

9 spinners in (roundup) 120 = 1 per 13.3 seconds. Let's try and bring that down a little, especially towards the end.

6 months since i checked this and this is still in pending. Hmm

Blue = design/minor issues. you do not have to change these if you don't want to
Orange = moderate issues. it would be best if you change these, but you may be able to get away with not changing it
Red = major issues. you need to change these

-Timing seems fine
-The skin looks nicely made too. Im no master at skinning so i can't suggest much here
-Also, yes, the .osz is over the size limit, but only by 0.3mb, and thus, ill let that slide

Looks good. Maybe put a timing section on the end though, so there isn't a massive Kiai bit at the end? Doesn't matter much but it would make the timeline a little cleaner :P

01:57:288 (1) - move this to 01:57:662 and put a beat at 01:57:288? Again, sounds better that way to me.

The map itself is generally fine, but there are some dodgy rhythm's going on in places. Gens seems to have many of the bases covered there in his post though.

Not deserving of a Bubble from me just yet, but starred for now (Oh wait, I've already starred this. lol)

IMHO, [Living Death] feels somewhat like a longer version of [Alive]. Probably it's due to the strictly vocal-following streams and sliders, iunno.

I'd also like to mention how only one of the three difficulties cover the entire song. I think that's the only thing making it "harder" than the two.

But then again, that's some preferences I'm making. Technically, the map's good to go.

I somewhat agree with vyt's comments and I've noticed it to. Really I think the majority of the diff's should be made to be fully for the song. 1000% Sparking! is an example. the hard diff for that was shortened while as the other two of them [Normal] and [Insane] were longer.

Just my two cents. Otherwise yeah should get bubbled.
