I would definitively say that it is worthwhile and motivating, because you'll know that your map is that much better. This whole notion of being just rankable is unacceptable. I could place down all sorts of random stuff and make it rankable as long as I have 2k spinners, all distance snapped stuff and correct new combo switches and the correct timing. As a mapper you should always take your map beyond that bare minimum level and make it nice & fun, not just rankable.alvisto wrote:

From what I feel, this map could use hitsounds of soft hitnormal, normal hitnormal and normal hitclap, especially normal hitnormal, it would sound fantastic. Feel free to PM me if you need further comments on the hitsounds. Right now, I won't touch and mod hitsounds since I can see that the map is near to be ranked already, so, re-doing the whole map's hitsound might not be motivating. xD
