Okay, I'll answer the first question right off the bat:
Otafest is an anime convention held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada (at the University of Calgary to be specific) every year in May. It takes place about a month from today.

Now then. First thing's first. I'm considering talking my dad into letting me take the laptop with me so I can share osu! with some of the hundreds of people who will be there. Because, believe it or not, there are a lot of gamers there as well. Which is especially noticeable with some of the PW, Pokemon, Zelda, and Super Mario cosplays I've seen, the plans I've heard for OTO and EBA cosplays (one of these groups were going to last year but one of their group was quite sick or something like that, they did the PW cosplaying), and also the Video Game room, and the little tourneys held through the day. Anyways, yeah, I plan on sharing osu! while I'm there.

However, I have a nice predicament to deal with: Who will I cosplay as?! I've finally locked myself into something, though, which is to go as either Sneasel or Weavile (yay Pokemon!), although I'm not yet entirely sure which to go as. Both are completely doable. Completely awesome too. Picking either would end my predicament of who to go as so that I can take part in the Battle Chess and Battle Action RPG activities, as well as not have issues with cosplaying anyone/thing I don't want to go as. Hence the poll. Vote if you care. I'm probably only going to wait a couple of weeks max though, as I want those other couple weeks to put together a costume, of course.

For those that don't know what Sneasel or Weavile are, you really need to read up on your pocket monsters here's what they look like, Sneasel being on the left and Weavile on the right:

Also, I would want to see someone go as Pippi. That would be epic to see.

Weavile, because I could see it making a better cosplay overall, even if the character design isn't as nice.

On a similar note, I wonder if there'll be any other osu!ers at Anime North? I'm considering going this year for the first time. And I would cosplay, but I'm too lazy. And I wouldn't know who to go as.

Jynx nor Missingno will not be added to the poll. There is a reason I did not put an "Other (please specify)" option: being given more to try to decide between would have made my choices even more difficult to make.

Plus I don't really like Jynx that much and I'm not keen on the idea of going as a glitchy tetris block (I can suggest that to the Deathnote/Ichi Ichi box for them to go as next year though I guess).

Been so busy. XD I'm on a break atm. I still need to attach the hood, ears, feathers, and finish up the pants, which isn't really so much as it sounds. Really, it's just a few more snips of my shears and a few more major lengths of stitching.

I am attending tomorrow and Sunday with my brother, cousin, and a friend, will be bringing the laptop (complete with osu! on the flash drive, so I'll be picking up a few more maps before leaving tomorrow), and cosplaying as Sneasel. I'll try to get lots of photos this year (because I would anyways), so look forward to an Otafest 2009 folder on my deviantART in the next few days for anyone who's interested.

I've still yet to make a plan of what activities I'm going to. Ah well.
