Song selection and ranking panels probably won't be compatible. But gameplay will be.
There isn't much known publicly, but at the moment it looks like atleast most gameplays shoudl be compatible, but you can probably say goodbye to every menu (ranking panel, song selection, pause/fail) and mod icons will be incomplete, iirc there were new mods in lazer.
