no benefits, some people use it to look cool/fit in, some other people use it to cope, you don't really get into an adiction because of the benefits of that things, it's mainly because external factors

Yeah I understand the appeal of the cool smoke and all, I just don't get how you can find it addicting. I hit it a couple times with mates but I don't see myself buying one. Aside from muh funny smoke, the flavours are ass and the nicotine doesn't do anything.
Not to mention cheap Chinese chemicals. You could probably replicate the vape smoke on a cold day without the device itself anyway.

It's not much the chemical addicting, but more the action of inhaling and exhaling from something, from what I've spoken with people who smoke. The addicting part is the reflex of putting something to your mouth, inhaling it and then exhaling it. In a sense, that smoke is kinda like your shit inside going out of you, I guess. It is also the peer pressure who get people in. As for the smoke tricks and whatnot, I guess that's the reason some people begin vaping.Ymir wrote:

It's bad for your lungs
There is none. Vaping, alongside other vices, are something we do because we, as humans, aren't perfect. Peer pressure, marketing tricks, other problems in one's life, a lack of anything substantial in one's life, all lead down to this, I believe. I also think that it is done to be counter-culture and dismissive towards authority, since things like vaping aren't healthy and usually are frown upon.reffty_gag wrote:

ime most ppl vape because they want to quit smoking cigs (but not the nicotine) and vaping is objectively healthier than smoking. this applies to weed too but the health differences between vaping, smoking a joint, or hitting some kinda pipe aren't as large as going from a cigarette to a vape
