solo queue sucks anyway
gj not understanding what you were replying to but, for the sake of argument, yes low elo does mean you are a bad playerEphemeral wrote:

nah, after a few games you get put on "smurf island" and every game is like 9/10 smurfs.Randy96 wrote:
Smurfs kind of ruin the low level experience =/
Unless you give them advice while you own them then that justifies it

So i played some Twisted Treeline earlier today, and found it much easier than Summoner's - not just in terms of pushes being much easier. I got a lot more early game ganks (as Kassadin) than on Summoner's and got on with mah build much quicker.

It's a bit more complicated but the basics are the same - ganking, farming, teamfights... it's a bit harder in that the items are a bit IMO, but it's got more champions, as is really funTwo wrote:

I dunno bout the others but Udyr jungle is horrible without runesLybydose wrote:

You really need at least 8 points in Utility for the exp mastery though.
actually no, it works just fineRandy96 wrote:

This. Cant wait for DotA 2. I have REALLY high hopes for it, and so does the competitive community. I believe valve have a really high pressure on this one, but again, that's what they're used toTshemmp wrote:
imo LoL does not require so much skill as DotA. You don't have to be good to be good. Ofcourse it has some comfortable functions which the 6 years older DotA does not have. But DotA 2 will solve this Problem.

Which champion can jungle well without specific runes or even masteries? I always sucked at it, but wanna try again.

Heimer and Veigar (rofl) are not weak by a long shot. Veigar does rely on earlygame a lot tho, but well, who does not?Suzumiya-H wrote:

While it doesn't, it provides more "fun" factor, which is what ultimately is what a game should be. LoL is fun because you get to try out different things that you wouldn't dream of seeing in DotA.
As for built in flash, not really, imo what they should look at is the champions that are weak(heimer, veigar etc~ that not many ppl play) this will create diversity in picks which will ultimately benefit everyone.
Strange, I've always seen jungle jarvans with wriggles and at least 150 cs.Lybydose wrote:

Oh yea, it's hard to get cs as non ranged bot :s If the enemies would have had a support to support jarvan, it might look bit different tho.yeahyeahyeahhh wrote:

wait nm i rem, tryna was jungle. Jarv was bot vs Cait and Kog... have fun getting CS
They are. Heimer provides nothing more than defences for towers when he can't even defend himself, he also deals mediocre damage for an "AP carry" and steals quite a lot of farm which could've been used for other things.TKiller wrote:

How can you play ranked against Chaox when your elo is way below his? oO That's some real matchmaking there LOL.yeahyeahyeahhh wrote:
I once went 18-6 vs Chaox in rank with Veigar IDK wut u talkin bout
Chaox wasn't always as high/ I wasn't always at low. When I actually bothered to play ranked we were in the same elo. Also, my normal elo is the same at many of the top players so I've played again 2.1k+ players all the time. Stop assuming I'm badTowjow wrote:

I'm not assuming that you're bad (my elo is lower than yours anyways since I haven't played ranked a lot, only got high normal elo hahaha). I just couldn't believe that matchmaking was THAT bad okay. I never got queued with anyone who had an elo difference that was higher than 200 :c, so I was kinda wondering. That's all there is to this.yeahyeahyeahhh wrote:

It's not overrated, it's broken. Or rather the matchmaking system imho.Ever17 wrote:

Play Yi like jax and build wriggles, youmuus, trinity and skirmish like jax. Of course jax scales better, and you're useless outside of jungle.

Idk being tankier and getting that movespeed + slow is extremely nice, being able to do a pretty staggering amount of burst is also nice, and I usually pocket a vamp scepter in my 5th slot until I can build something better.(IE or BV) Zeal, phage and sheen are all amazing incremental items on Yi.yeahyeahyeahhh wrote:

No because there is a 5000~ gold period where the only stat increasing is your defense.TKiller wrote:
Isn't atmog build plain better if you want to be bulky?
wriggles youmuus is the Yi staple I still build that first, there is really no reason not to since the youmuus active fits perfectly with E and R. Starks lets you be that 1v1/1v2 god but I like building overall more tanky. Triforce and BV let me sit about 2.6k. I don't think either of them are bad since they're both cheap builds that let you play fairly consistent(I only call Triforce cheap because the individual items are good) The one thing I didn't like about triforce is that im losing out on that lifesteal but vamp scepter is only 450 and I start picking that up if I feel someones beating me in a straight up 1v1.Cyclone wrote:
You wouldn't get 2 procs though, and at that point all your abilities are on cd. For a slow you simply grab red buff, or just outrun them, considering you are master yi. I'm not saying triforce is bad, but it's not one of his best items. Youmus is the single greatest item a yi can build, then you just get lifesteal and attackspeed(wriggles starks)
It's A cheap and effective build imo. If I want more ms or damage I usually just grab a phantom dancer.

Considering half or all their deaths came from bot lane or just being stupid out in the jungle solo, you're wrong. Two wrote:
For all we know the reason why any of you had 10+ kills is because of their deaths. I don't even understand why you would play malzahar instead of a hard carry if you are as good as you think you are.

I think I actually lost more in premades than in solo, but that's cause not everyone in my friendlist is good and in a lot of cases we spend more time making silly jokes on skype rather than actually paying attention to game.

Or maybe I'm just lucky with matchmaking.
