not at the moment

the only reason I would be learning a language is if it's school or work related

it sounds like a waste of time and resources to me

I'm still learning English, even if it's just a one new word a week at this point.

And I'm passively trying to learn Japanese, basically watching a lot of anime and vtuber clips. I've started studying it for reals too many times to count, I always get discouraged by the writing system.

Plan on staying there for a few months in the future. Sort of like a self discovery type deal.

Last year I tried learning Korean but I didn’t have as much time as I would’ve liked. I started learning Japanese December 2021, did anki everyday and lots of listening. I made way better progress than I thought I would for 6-7 months.

I just stopped Japanese last month in June because I’m planning to move to Germany. So now I’m learning German and it’s quite fun. I studied a bit last year but I’m going full-in now.

My advice for learning a language is stay consistent at the beginning when it comes to vocab and grammar. It’s very important that you stay consistent otherwise it is very easy to lose it. Do lots of immersion watching and listening in that language, and once you start getting a good basic understanding, you can start taking breaks. At that point it’s just about getting more and more input.

Well, I've been practicing my Japanese and French listening to the point I can understand basic conversations, pretty rusty on my writing though, need to practice that more.
NEO_Strider7
I've been learning Spanish my entire life both because of school and family. I still do have more to learn, but I can understand enough(written and spoken) to be okay.
And then soon I will/want to learn French and Russian(and some others, but those are my main two). But first I wanna improve my Spanish
