Things to do before you start posting
~> Please read the rules ( community/forums/topics/604424?n=1 )
~> Read Shin's "Art Of OT" thread ( community/forums/topics/1466753?n=1 )
~> Check a few threads but dont reply yet!
Reading the rules is the basics for pretty much everything. Shin's "Art Of OT" thread will give you basic information about OT. Checking a few threads may help you know the people who are active here, so you can get used to how they talk.
After you check the rules, Shin's guide and look on how people behave here, let's read the next step!
Where should I get started?
You can get started in FG (Forum Games). From FG, people can know you better and they can adapt to how you behave. I recommend you post in FG for a few weeks and then start posting in OT.
Here are some threads that are good to start with!
~> ITT: We post so NotRaffi doesn't get to post last ( community/forums/topics/1414515?n=1 )
~> you're stuck in a room with the avatar above you ( community/forums/topics/781215?n=1 )
~> Compliment the person above you ( community/forums/topics/47254?n=1 )
~> Last one to post is the winner! ( community/forums/topics/1010232?n=1 )
There are many more threads than what I've listed here. Feel free to explore!
I think people already know me quite well! Can I post in OT now?
Yes! but please be careful. You might want to start by replying to threads. After that, people would know what kind of threads they'll expect from you.

Things you shouldn't do
Before I made this thread, I've saw a lot of problems with new people in OT, the most common ones are 2+ threads in 24 hours and necro. If you want to make a thread, please don't make more than 1 thread every 24 hours. This is stated in the rules thread, yet new people don't really follow it. If there's a thread that catches your interest but the last reply is more than 1 month, please don't reply to it. If you reply to a thread that has no reply in the past 1 month or longer, it's called a necro. Please make a new thread if necessary or look if someone already makes a thread about that topic recently.
Things that you should do
Instead of posting nonsense, why not contribute something to OT?
here are some examples:
~> Create an event. (examples: OT! Game Night, OT! Movie Night, etc.)
~> Create an art about OT. It could be about an event that's happening or about it's lore.
~> Make quality threads.
~> Host collabs (pfp collabs, mapping collabs, etc.)
There are still many more ways to contribute to OT, these are just the examples I can remember. Quality threads are quite rare these days, so older denizens would enjoy it. Events make OT denizens (both old and new) feel like a family and/or can spend time together. Arts about OT can be placed in the OT museum of Art, some of them can also be an art for a collab!
Examples (as of I'm making this thread)
Examples of threads you shouldn't make:
I have to become an OT Denizen. I love OT forums so much I am very passionate about it. ( community/forums/topics/1534335?n=1 )
Goodbye ( community/forums/topics/1506108?n=1 )
Examples of users that managed to get into OT smoothly:
recent ones: Scyla, Karmine
Older ones but isn't a denizen yet: IryN, Lilyn
