1. How long have you been playing CTB on osu! for?
Since 2012.

2. Why did you start playing CTB?
Because it was easy to get rank from it compared to the STD game mode which I was legitly unable to hit and move my cursor I was kinda jealous to other people so I basicly just give up myself saying it was impossible which I don't said it anymore at this days, then I slowly start to get addicted in CTB and I always wanted to get better from it and to learn more and more.. and fc some map and having some rival to play with comparing score and way more.

3. What playstyle do you use?
With my.. f.fee.. HANDS!
Right hands numpad4/5 left hands ctrlL

4. Who is your favourite CTB player?
Velperk (Good guy.)
Lavale (Played a ton of HR and being really friendly.)
[KOR]Apolron???(I don't remember his name at all dude but I really liked this person.)
Drafura | Rantanzyon - I was a lot of fun with them and they did learn me a lot sadly Drafura don't like the new hyperdash and probably busy with real life? I don't know.
Celegas - Cute boy.

5. Which CTB map do you like the most?
I mostly like converted map instead of CTB MAP because they basicly give some part which you need to memorise and then having a "FORCE" retry which you barelly can do a first try fc on them and I find them kinda nice to play with and learn specially with HR... but I don't really know the actual meta for be honest.

6. Who is your favourite CTB mapper?
Val0108 style I mean basicly all convert map.

7. Do you use mods? If so, which ones?
I was a one trick hidden player on the past, then I stop playing CTB for several year so I basicly lost my skill from it but I liked to switch between HIDDEN and NO MOD. maybe I should replay some hidden for fun?

8. Do you prefer to play in multiplayer or solo?
Multiplayer always multiplayer it's just fun.

9. What is your favorite CTB Diff?
Yikes I actually kinda read that questions too fast well : I don't know man.

Around a few weeks? I'm pretty new tbh

2. Why did you start playing CTB?
Tried it for fun, mainly because I always need an extension for my tablet to play osu!std and it got annoying XD

3. What playstyle do you use?
Left/Right arrows to move and shift to dash

I don't really have any since I'm new to the mode (Or I guess the fav of everyone is ExGod lol)

Rogueport Town, for nostalgia and music sake only, but map-tech wise I don't know enough to have a fav

Don't really have any

7. Do you use mods? If so, which ones?
Mostly HR, since most I find a map too easy or too hard to complete, so I just use HR on the easier one
But geez I suck at mods otherwise, how on earth do people read HD btw??

Both, but I spend more time solo since I care about my acc way too much XDD

Salad, no choice, I can't even do Rain

Yea, but since I'm an SS freak farmer I get frustrated lol

HD on all diffs except for high pp plays, trying to get better at HDDT platters and HDHR salads

Solo, normally there are no multis when I play

1. I have played CTB for a couple of months now.

2. I started playing it because it really made me feel calm
unlike the other modes on osu.

3. I just use the standerd playing style shift and left and right.

4.I think my favourite CTB player is either Exgon or Motion.

5. Probably pluto black hole.

6. JBHyperion, I think hes really good at it and captures the feel of a song.

7. I sometimes use HR because im trying to learn high ar stuff, for the rest I suppose HD and FL are really fun!

8. Solo, I feel that im not good enough for multi yet.

9. At the moment platter it plays a lot nicer then salad.

10. I love it and im quiet addicted to it.

1. I started playing ctb a little bit after I started playing osu in general.

2. Standard was getting a little boring so I tried other modes.

3. I'm one handed, I use A & D and shift for dash.

1. I've been playing CTB off and on for a little over a year (May 2018).

2. I'm not too sure why I started. I was probably bored of Standard and didn't have a desk to play it on while I was moving, so I experimented with the modes I haven't played before (CTB and mania) and CTB just kinda stuck.

3. I move with numpad 1 and 2 and dash with X. I use a laptop keyboard.

4. I don't really have a favorite player. I'm not that involved in the CTB community.

It's not my favorite because of the map itself; I just really like the song. :^)

6. I'm not sure who my favorite mapper is either. Ascendance is everywhere map-wise, so maybe them.

7. I'm strictly a no-mod player at the moment. I did play HR on Cup diffs, but those don't give out enough pp anymore. Maybe I'll experiment with mods in the future once I've improved.

8. Solo, but it'd be nice to play multis once in a while.

9. I like Salads, Platters, and Overdoses. Salads require little effort, but unlike Cups, you'll be moving most of the time, making them less boring. I can currently play Platters, and that's where CTB gets more interesting and maps are less limited in how they can be constructed. I'm not good enough to play Overdose just yet, but from seeing them being played, they look really cool.

10. CTB is alright. It won't be the main mode I play, but it definitely can be a good break from Taiko if I ever get bored or tilted.

I used to play a ton of Geometry Dash and I found osu! through GD Youtubers most of my friends played CTB so I joined them for some multi and was instantly hooked.

Left shift for dash and . and / for left and right movement.

Oh god where do I start I have met so many awesome people through this game that I honestly cannot choose <3 XD

It has been a little over a year so it's about time for an update :3c

1. 2 years now

2. Still the same, I downloaded a catch specific map of my (then) favourite song.

3. Z for left movement, X for right movement, and up arrow key for dash (sometimes mouse, but rarely now to avoid breaking more mouses lol)

4. I have quite a few now xD I'd say Abstract- and ekr are the most entertaining though.

5. I must say nothing really comes to mind :/ Maybe Xinely's Kakushigoto?

6. Xinely, -Ken, ZHSteven, Spectator

7. Well I like all mods except flashlight as of right now. Still trying to improve in everything though.

8. Still solo. Multis usually require you to download new maps and my internet speed doesn't really let me do that quickly :/

9. For catch specific maps, I like Platters because not many people play them with HDHR xD For converts, I like Extra+ still.

10. I like ctb spinning more than the actual mode itself. I don't really know how much I actually like ctb.

1. 4 years next may, almost exactly 1 year after I signed up to osu!
2. For the easy top 50 scores
3. Left Right for left right respectively and S for dash
4. Motion and KevKjef
5. I like most ctb maps, I don't really have a favourite. Maybe Happppy Song?
6. I really like Kyptoric maps, but he's inactive now. From active mappers I enjoy Nelly, Ajamez and Ascendance the most.
7. HD and HDDT
8. Solo, I retry a lot
9. Rains with DT, my favourite mappers make the most fun DT rains as well.
10. Yes, CTB will always be my favourite gamemode, the community has always been really kind and encouraging to me and the game is still fun for me even after almost 3 years of basically the same gameplay. I do need breaks sometimes, but I always come back after a week or 2.

1: I have been playing for about 4 months now.
2: I started playing because I was declining in osu!mania once I reached 5k so I wanted to find something to fill the void and CTB became and open window for me.
3: I use the arrow keys to move and W to dash.
4: I don't really have a favourite at the moment since I don't know anybody besides ExGon, Hyperw7, Motion, Ascendance, JBHyperion, MBomb, chickenbible and some others.
5: Like #4, I don't have a favourite map but I would have to say that Come Hell or High Water mapped by MBomb is a good one, it's not been ranked and I would personally love to see it ranked.
6: Probably MBomb or Ascendance at the moment.
7: I used to use DT a lot when I started FC'ing Cups, but then I stopped using mods. I plan to use HR and DT in the future, and I just can't play with HD or FL.
8: I prefer multiplayer, I would like to find some people to play it with, but I do like to solo it too.
9: Not a clue
10: Like is an understatement, I love CTB, like, A LOT.

1. 4yrs, 3yrs if you count ACTIVE playtime

2. I only played standard, and would multi everyday with a friend, sadly, he lost every match, so one day he switched to CTB and beat me (yay!) although I was petty and decided to learn the mode to be better, suffice to say I stuck with it

3. I use numpad 1 & 3 to move, and use Z to dash (my shift key broke on my old keeb, so I learnt to use Z)

4. At the moment...? Len or the only catch player I actively watch is OneShotFox

5. "Toumei Elegy" by Kyptoric or "In The Middle of the Night" by Minato Yukina otherwise most recently, "Ethnik Khemikal Teknologi" by Nelly

6. [_-Kukkai-_] and Nelly

7. For CTB specifics, I have to use No Mod, unless it's like a platter then I use HDDT.
For converts, I use HD, and for AR8.5 and below, I use HDDT

8. 95% of my catch career has been solo, I don't often multi with people, but would be nice to :3

Few days after I started.

It felt easy for me at first, now I take it more seriously.

NoMod mostly for CTB, converts might vary, usually DT for AR 8.

Both are good, Multi is great to play with friends, but solo is interesting.

2.My Setup doesn't really allow me to play STD,Never took time to learn Taiko,Mania wasn't fun and plus I just play std on osu!droid but ctb was fun and challenging so I gave it a try

3.I use the 4 and 6 key's on my keypad to move and Q to dash

1. 3 years, but really its been 8 months of actual playing.

2. CTB was my first choice and it felt more comfortable than the rest from the start.

3. Basic <- and -> with Left CTRL when I'm using index+ring or Space + Delete and Left CTRL if I'm using thumb and pinky (Yes, I do use thumb and pinky. I twist my wrist slightly to have a perfect finger swap)

4. Quite a few. I basically watch whatever and whoever in CTB

5. HoneyGinger (osu! edit) is my practice grounds for stuff

6. Almost any creator at this point.

7. HDDT mainly. I do dabble with others if the map seems fit.

8. Both.

9. Platters and soon Rains.... just gotta get a bit more consistent in 4 star range.

10. Its the only one I know how to play. Love it to bits and going to try and play every possible map.

1. Just Recently. In Game Time is 12 hours, according to osu. I think I've been playing for a month or so.

2. I wanted to branch out from osu!mania and Catch The Beat looked MUCH, MUCH more impressive than both Taiko and Standard combined.

4. Exgon and ExoticEmerald. Exgon because Der Wald SS. ExoticEmerald because of his funny youtube content about CTB.

1: idk since the start of my life as an osu kid.
2: I was pretty bad at the other games at the start but i found this one map (I forgot) that was just a regular osu catch the beat map. I played it and realized that was what I was the best at.
3: Keyboard + mouse
4: Dakkychan is a flat out god and I like their stuff.
5: My favorite map is sans with the mbomb difficulty. I like the way it was formed and is a solid map.
6: Clsw makes some pretty good maps imo.
7: I'm mostly a no-mod player but my favorite mods are fl and nc.
8: I mostly play in solo as it's much more easier to get a good play. Plus imo multiplayer takes too long lol.
9:Platter as I'm the best at that and the fact that it's the most enjoyable when you're chilling.
10: Yes. I mean thats the reason I'm playing it lmao. Plus I find it more fun then any other

1. I've been playing since 2019. I left the game for 1 year but improved, and I'm probably at my peak right now.

2. 'Cause I was terrible at the other mods, and I found it fun.

3. F and J as right and left and spacebar for dashing. It is good for me because it avoids mindblocking, but I think I should change it.

4. ExGon.

5. I like every type of map, but my favorites are convert 3-star and convert old ones.

6. Ascendance? I don't really know.

7. I like using HRDTFL in 1-star maps and HR in some 2-star. I don't use mods in the rest.

1-Started in summer 2020, so around a year

2- Thought it will be funny to get a lot of ranks since it's easy and then I started enjoting it more than standard so I switched

3-left shift sprint, l and ñ for movement (edit 5 months latter, I've qutted using left shift for dash and now I use D for dash)

2. Why did you start playing CTB? Because my setup was bad and ctb was the only mode I could play

I broke my mouse. I started trying different game modes while I wait for my new mouse and dang I got hooked up on CTB XD

Spacebar for Dash, Left and Right arrow for movement

- Since 2014 with years of breaks. I spent my first year on standard with friends while they were still playing.

2. Why did you start playing CTB?

- I tried it once as I did with every mode and kinda got my liking. I got more into it and there we go.

- A for dash and arrow keys.

4. Who is your favourite CTB player?

- I have no clue. I don't really know or talk with any. So there's none.

- DragonForce-Seasons by Crowly, I think.

- No clue, never paying attention. Each one of them? Thanks for the maps.

2. I tried out all the modes a little bit, and CTB ended up being my favourite

3. Mouse + Right/Left key for anything other than DT, and Shift + Right/Left key for DT lol

5. If I had to choose then probably Wonjae's "Sunshine" beatmapsets/1454177#fruits/2989450

6. My fav mapper is Spectator or Kukkai

2. I quit standard, and I didn't feel like playing mania or taiko, so I switched to CTB.

I begin to touch CtB about six years ago with a very long afk, away from osu! focusing on my study and playing Arcaea. Just come back recently and I find myself didn't step back. That's a surprise.

2. Why did you start playing CTB?
Firstly CtB is the only mode I could handle in all four modes. Secondly due to my previous gameplay of Kartrider I have already be used to ←/→ on right hand with Lshift on left hand, so this is the mode I could be good at.

3. What playstyle do you use?
Lshift for dash, J/K for move.

4. Who is your favourite CTB player?
Dusk and Crystal.

5. Which CTB map do you like the most?
Those which can give me more pp

2. I thought standard was way to hard so i looked into the other gamemodes and fell in love with the simple look on catch.
