Dear osu diary,

Today I tried explaining peppy what is visual offset. He remains unconvinced that it is a important feature to have, and is quite stubbornly fixated on those pesky hitsounds we mania players cant care less about. I remain optimistic that he can change his mind. Today I take rest to not take risk of him closing the wonderful feature request.

I sometimes think why do sliders don't affect the star rating the same as hitcircles including sliders with high velocity.
Also, I need to remap if it sucks.

I think sliders are treated the same way as hitcircles which is why they don't affect star rating as much as they should. They should fix that tbh

i just saw a dude say that he didn't spammed today. when I heard that I was like "wow this guy is weird" and now that think about it more, I still think he's kinda weird. like wtf dude spam the crap out of everything you do, unless you have comedic talent, then in that case your replies will actually mean smth. maybe he was a comedian or smth. either way, spamming is the way on OT, dear diary. I spam more spam everyday without any permission or anything. why? because I can, and because it makes me think I'm funny. that's what matters in life, spamming everything you can. just put that can everywhere and it'll make you feel better. it is after all what thomas edispam said "genius is one percent inspiration and 99 percent spamming whatever is in your mind without any rhythm or reason."

i'm making a fair amount of progress in my mapping skill. at the very least, it's better than what i had months ago, and i'm much more willing to experiment and see what comes from it.

sadly, i'm not really at the point i want to be. i suppose i'll clean those issues up in the future.

it didn't go well
and i overwrote my 94% play with a 92% choke
going back to lazer now

I accidentally got it when I played a 3* chart (3* is very hard for me, I'm noob). If you really want it you can just play a chart that has exactly 50 sliders in mania and miss the end of all of them.

That's why I don't play CTB. (No it is actually because of not being able to control dashing.)

It is. It's needed for normal maps, as the catcher can only move at a fixed speed, hyperdashes are needed to compensate jumps.

拝啓osu!の日記、今日では...
I deleted all of my songs on osu!. Of course, I saved the unsubmitted maps that I had onto Mediafire. Hopefully I can get a more reliable output for my beloved maps. I figure that I can download the rest of the maps onto a new PC, despite various maps potentially being prone to deletion (or presumably, as I have never made a beatmap that managed to acquire a leaderboard). The only caveat to this reconfiguration is the fact that I'm planning on building the PC myself (since I should probably learn know what my friends are talking about when they converse among themselves of graphics cards and motherboards and whatnot), and I indefinitely need money to do so. As such, I'm planning on attaining a position at a local chain fast food somewhere in the proximity of my neighborhood. Thankfully, I have an abundance of such job opportunities in at most a ten-mile radius within my living area. Thus, looking for an area that has job opportunities in my predicament is nothing but a child begging their guardian for a toy.

The only variant is if they'll give in.

somehow though, the map can't be automatically played in Score V2 when in multiplayer, so somehow I got a really high score compared to my other plays (and now I'm ranked #63 in the leaderboards lol; my other friend got rank #37)
