This is really hard for me to decide. I have enjoyed every single game I played so far, and I don't play that much games, either.

I'm gonna have to give this to Runescape. It's the game that I have played the longest time, and the fact that there's so much to do AND there's lots of people to talk to really makes it hard to lose my interest. (Though I don't understand why a lot of my RS-retired classmates don't think that way... :? )

Super Smash Bros Brawl, New Super Mario Bros Wii, and Mario Kart Wii are honorable mentions. They're really awesome games to play with friends imo (especially Brawl). :D

There's the keyword(s). Fun to play with friends. Just getting in before the hate does.

imo Mario Kart 64's probably better than Wii if it's just two humans playing, though. Either's better with a bit of booze.

Every single one is better than Mario Kart(Bike) Wii. I honestly prefer Double Dash the most, enjoy playing All-Cup Tour with my cousin. Great way to pass the time.
MK64 and DS are always fun times as well.

I really don't care for the DS version that much. For solo play, yeah, it's superior, but I don't ever solo play Mario Kart any more. I liked double-dash the least of any of the MK games. Not sure why. It just didn't sit well with me.

Well, personally, I hate racing games. To me, it's like "I'mma hold the A button down and move the joystick in different directions! This is fun..." :o

But my favorite game EVER is most definitely TWEWY. The story... art... play-style... soundtrack... In fact, I have a hard time thinking of something I have AGAINST it. Too bad it's so damn hard to find nowadays.

Of course, my other favorites are: Golden Sun, EBA, Rhythm Heaven, Pokemon Platinum, Retro Game Challenge, Megaman 9, and more. But if you don't have TWEWY, stop whatever you're doing and buy it. NOW.

EDIT : I changed my mind, my favorite game of all time is any rhythm games (o2jam, osu!, etc.) and simple-looking yet brilliant RPGs such as Cave Story :D

I think my favorite game of all time is Megaman X for SNES, played it too much back when I was a kid.
I also enjoy the Legacy of Kain series and stealth action games like Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell.

This is a very hard choice >.< ATM osu! is working its way up, But World of warcraft is probably my favorite. Im addicted to the Arena's >.< trying to level up a few classes in order to see what i like best in PvP. So far im liking the healers, Resto druid or Disc priest. Or a rogue. Although i dont have a priest or a rogue of my own, Ive played on my friends and gotten to 2200 on Ruin with them ^.^

I cant decide but my favorite 3 games are
1) Sly 3 honor among thieves (ps2)
2) Sonic riders zero gravity (again ps2)
3) Guitar hero 3 (yes ps2)



Note: I only have a ps2 and I have been asking for a ps3 but the slim ps3 has no backwards comparability and the Xbox 360 sucks (already went through 2 xboxes and I don't like them)

Honestly, I have to disagree. The CPUs were both too easy and extreme item whores.
It`s like *red shell*, *red shell*, *blue shell--dodges*, *lightning*, *another blue shell--can't dodge because tiny*, *red shell*, ~Oh look, I'm still in first place~

Multiplay and time trials are really what make this game memorable. It offers more depth than other Mario Karts because of the impact where you place your MTs and how you take corners/obstacles has on your time.

This is a really hard question to answer just because the game keeps being switched around. When I was a kid in the SNES era, it was Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars tied with Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong-Quest, during the Dreamcast era it was Sonic Adventure, GameCube had Super Smash Bros. Melee, and so on and so forth.

But it I had to choose one, it would be SMRPG for the sole reason that it was the very first game I ever played, getting me into gaming in the first place.

For me that would be this game called Gotcha Force. I love it so much. It's just fun for some reason. The DDR and Pokemon series tie for second.

I'd be lying if i didn't say Metal Gear Solid 3.

I love the whole Metal Gear series but 3 almost perfected it, the only problem i have with it is how the cobra unit has shit all back story and just seemed to have appeared out of nowhere.

I'm also going to mention the Metroid series (although i haven't played the Metroid Prime trilogy ;_;) and the Legend of Zelda series for containing some of my most enjoyed games.

Golden Sun: The Lost Age (unfortunately never played 1)
Final Fantasy III DS
Dragon Quest Monsters (great premise, and a sequel is coming!)
Dragon Quest IX (so far 145 hours)
Disgaea:Afternoon/Hour of Darkness (a very good and addictive game, 175 hours so far!)
Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow & Portrait of Ruin DS

Nearly everything has already been typed in this thread, such as Donkey Kong Country 2 and Earthbound. So I'm going to just say Spanky's Quest. That game is amazingly fun. I mean, just the gist of it sounds amazing(Your a monkey throwing bubbles that pop into balls to kill enemies which are fruit).

This is a hard one... I suppose it would depend on genre though.
Role Playing wise... Shadow Hearts, hands down. Step Rhythm wise, Pump It Up! Exceed, and survival horror gets Clock Tower: The First Fear.

Well, without question, it is Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

Closely followed up by Counter-Strike 1.6 and Super Mario 64, This masterpiece of a game contains a great fight system with over 25 characters to choose from, all with their unique and talented abilities. In addition, there is a 4player fighting mode, A 64-player tournament mode, A complete first-player mode, a boss rush, a fighting rush with all the characters in the game, challenges, home-run mode and a online multiplayer to boot.
I cannot to even BEGIN to explain how many hours I have poured into this great craftmenship of a video game.

I just dug up an old favourite that I can't believe I forgot.

The original Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles on the Gamecube, just so much fun that scales with the number of players you can get.

Probably not my favorite game of all time, but seeing this topic made me think about the final boss fight from Earthbound. It just turned that game from a trippy and colorful adventure to an absolute nightmare of a fight. It even broke the 4th wall in the greatest possible way that I don't think will ever be able to be recreated in a game ever again. Not even Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid was able to do it as well, and Psycho Mantis was cool as hell.

Earthbound is definitely somewhere at the top of the best games ever, I would say.

starcraft 2 is of course a great game.

over 10 years ago I played a lot of counterstrike, and I still do every now and then.

Probably Super Smash Bros. Melee, I played it every day all afternoon with a friend, we got really good at it and eventually started organising tournaments. We were pretty young so we came up with stupid ideas like the other contestants having to fight and then we would be the ''final bosses'' you had to defeat to win the tournament. Ofcourse after months of nonstop ''training'' no one stood a chance :P It never really got boring and the only reason we quit was cause the Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl released, but it never gave us the same feel so we just quit the whole thing. Sort of a shame.

I would pick Ocarina of Time, but during that time I was too young and scared to leave Kokiri Forest so I basically let an older friend of mine finish the entire game for me in which I did nothing else but have my own little roleplay sessions in Kokiri forest, pretending I was ''sword training''.

Final Fantasy Tactics for the PSone (the remake for PSP is awesome too). It is the strangest game on my list ompared to my usual favored games, and I've never liked any other final fantasy. But so many hours put into it when I was younger, and I played it over and over with different strategies.

Second favorite game of all time: Pokemon Emerald. Original Battle Frontier, finally a way to prove to someone I'm better than them at pokemon lolol

I won't lie to you, I never really played through 1 and 2 fully. But knowing a true Digimon game fan, I'm going to try Digimon 2 this weekend. Thanks for the tip! Even if it wasn't intended to be one lol. I've been playing the final fantasy hacktics mod thing lately, I like to play 2-3 RPG's at a time to avoid repetitive playing. I'll try Digimon World 2 thanks~

Back when I was a kid, I used to play a game called Dewprism ( known as Threads of Fate in the USA port). I always screw up at the game in some point cuz' it was a bad copy, so I always start over again and again and again and again......

My repetitiveness aside, It was awesome and fun, and now I am trying to find an iso of it, so I can play it on my emulator.I kinda lost the CD when I got my PSP :(

SHORT EDIT: I forgot some games:

Digimon World 3( I trained too much with Divermon I accidentally reached lv. 50 before Seiryu City... whoops)

Final Fantasy XIII.I have never played it but i saw the walkthrough on youtube.I think some scenes were cute! :3
I love Wii! Some people do not like it,but I think its fun (with some games,some are boring :P )
Other game i saw the walkthrough in youtube was Final Fantasy X! :)
And an old game I like is Pacman :) I love playing it on my computer! :3
