Actually, since you have the reverse arrow skinned, you -do- need to add the rest of the hitcircle-specific elements.
Also, set your hitburst dimensions to 256x256 while you're there.

00:46:688 (2,3) - Was kind of weird having this stacked considering your other 3 1/2 rhythms' patterns...
02:21:324 (1) - Way too soon after a spinner for the easiest difficulty. Try to give at least two beats for recovery.
02:36:597 (5,1,1) - Kind of wary of this spacing here.

[Hard]
00:54:324 (3,1) - This is a pretty big jump for this level of difficulty.
00:57:733 (4,1) - ^
01:26:915 (7,8) - Strange that these weren't stacked considering the pattern earlier...

03:04:961 (1,2,3) - Quite the large spacing there. Feels a bit too much considering the rest of the map goes back to the close spacing distance snap.

Hi!

Well things to mention:

[General]

  • Stuff:
  1. Spread could have been better, an even easier difficulty could have been very nice, since the current Normal is probably very hard for a new player.
    Skin:
  2. I don't get why the slider ball has so few frames, it makes it look as if it was rolling veeery fast :C
  3. On the spinner-background.png image:

    You know that could have gone smoother :P
    Also, is that "white" part transparent? And is that intentional? I mean I can see the background back there:
  4. Well you coooouuuuld, thorically, force other skin elements so that other skins wouldn't "overlap" with yours.
    For example if a user has a skin with a custom hitcircle that has nothing to do with this map at all, he'll still get it but won't get the hitbursts, becuase you are forcing them.

  5. I googled, but couldn't find what the current source, No.D, is. I'd like to ask just to clear things up.
    Timing:
  6. I don't agree with the place where the offset has been set, since there is no "music" until 00:01:688 -. I'd suggest the Offset to be there (1688 ms), and then I'd add another red section to fix the metronome at 00:02:233 -. You might wanna double check with somebody else, maybe Garven?

  1. 00:19:142 (5) - May I suggest a new combo here? Looks good with the music :P
  2. 00:51:051 (1) - I don't really get the point of this new combo. I get you followed the vocals but it's totally not consistent with you previous combos. At the very least, you could do something like 00:45:324 (1,2,3) - and remove the new combo at 00:51:051 (1) - , then add it at 00:50:779 (2) - :
  3. Some combos go up to 8, that shouldn't happen in the easiest difficulties. Be more careful next time.

There's nothing wrong with the metronome the way it is now. Think of the first notes as pickup notes before the measure begins. It's fairly common in various musical styles.

Oh, I can't believe I missed this, but in Hard: 00:54:324 (3,1) - This jump still feels pretty big. Think you can tone it down a tad more?

naraku and I were discussing this mapset a little bit, and despite all of the work that has been put into this, we think it still has a lot of room for improvement.

If you two are willing, we can offer some tips and general advice for a good reworking of your maps to make them more memorable and fun to play instead of something that feels like you're just going through the motions of a technically okay beatmap.

We'll leave the decision in your hands as to whether you wish to see the possibilities in which you can improve, or simply move on with the set as it is.

The work of the people, not just our work, please notice that we are on the 10th page now, and send to the garbage all the people's work, mod post, star, kudostar (that was very expensive on some past time), the effort of Leorda has spent here trying to bubble us and many more stuff is something to considerate of.
If a MAT/BAT has tell us 6 months ago that we need to improve our style, then I would be more than happy of make it, but now, 6 months after the submision is a ridiculous and sad make what you are suggesting.

Im so fucking sure if we make that remap you guys would say: "this is better BUT it needs moar work" then we need to have 10 more pages on this thread.

You said "make something more memorable".. hey being modding by 6 months is not memorable?

Im not saying NO to the suggest as an idiot just because of I wanna have at least a ranked standard guest diff, but reading the stuff of avobe you can considerate to keep this as it is, so my answer is no, but as Kei is the owner of this map Ill wait for her final decition

^ This is the most important reason of why I don't agree about improving more the mapset. This is a quite old mapset. This is the best we could do in his time and the result of our 6~7 months of work and modding.
Remapping would be, like Kyon said, throwing everything to the garbage and start basically all over. People that modded and played this map enjoyed it, and said that it would be awesome to see it ranked as it is. Some people may not like it because this map is not like other maps that get ranked. It doesn't have our improved mapping style but I think that people shouldn't expect too much from a 7 months old map.
Also, talking about Leorda's effort.. that's other thing that I don't want to "throw to the garbage". Get a MAT to help us took me around 2 months. Leorda did more than we expected for us, and we're grateful.

With all this said, my final and concrete answer to your offer is: no. We want to leave the mapset as it is. You two are right, the mapset isn't awesome but we think that it's better to leave as it is.

Mm, I'd use the reasoning of all the work people put into helping you with his map is to improve your own mapping skills so that you can find these sorts of things on your own as you create these. It's not only for this map, but for you as a mapper. I'm saddened at the tone of the replies, especially with the reasoning of having to find more MAT/BAT to mod/rank when you have two BATs offering assistance, but as I said before, it is your decision. I'll let naraku know to continue the recheck as normal then.

I'm in disagree with this.

Let me explain it...

This map have six or seven months ago since was submited.

Is just a stupid idea re-map all the song just for "style" or whatever you want to say it.

If all of you (Garven, Naraku, Leorda and the other modders) has been modded this map, it means the map is good, but if the map is too bad, so tell her 4 months ago for re-mapping.

I didn't said that. I said that it's not a bad idea, I agree with Garven and Naraku: My map still has a room for a bit of improvement, but we (Kyon and I) decided to leave the mapset as it is.

lovhin456 told me that there were some missing elements in the skin (fail-background, pause-retry, pause-continue, pause-back), so I added them in this update. It's recommended to re-download the beatmap. :3

Watch your mouth, iMercurial. We wouldn't have said anything if it was a "stupid idea". Also, we were just suggesting it, it was up to Kei to decide, and that's what she did.

Anyway, I'll try to recheck this soon, if I can't today (because it's my sister's b-day), I'll do it tomorrow.

EDIT: I can't get the new skin elements when I redownload, it could be cool if someone double checked... But I guess you should do a full submission to fix this :O

Lol! I didn't noticed that. I did a full submission and it's fixed now, I checked it by myself. All the elements of the skin are in the .osz file now. :3
