There's ambiguity in Toaru vs To Aru. Technically Toaru is correct, you can see other songs with such, however To Aru is more common, and it's a pretty minor detail. sticking "toaru" and "to aru" in the tag (depending on the source) is certainly worthwhile, and should be mandatory in all raildex maps. Since osu! has both ranked, it doesn't matter.Derekku wrote:

Everything is a suggestion. I didn't have strong feelings one way or the other, except on the skin, though with the skin it's a strong suggestion.

approachcircle.png - not symmetrical, IMO too thin. give it a 2.5-3px white outline and 1px black outline.
bg.jpg - widescreen is fine. I'm a bit disappointed osu doesn't stretch it regardless of screen resolution though. i changed the background, just redownload ^.^
combobursts.png - each one needs to be looked at on a black background, and the edges need to be better feathered.
count1.png - redo it with index's body fading out under the circle, I can see the line.
count2.png - the worst. fix the feathered edge.
count3.png - feathered edge, the drop shadow doesn't exist on the rest of them..
go.png - IDK how you made them, but the circles really need more AA. Look at the jaggies. Should Recreate them.
hit.png - AA, look at jaggies. They also should probably use the same base circle prior to coloring them. "k" and "g" versions need to make sure the image doesn't bleed through the outside of the circle. None of them are properly centered. I intentionally didn't centered them
hitcircle.png - simple pictures make better hitcircles. There's some parts in the song where the BG is blue, the hitcircle is shaded blue, and the circle sort of mixes in with the business of the video. Should change the combocolour?
hitcircleoverlay.png - you need to make sure you give the top and sides some alpha as well. Right now they look flat (they are), which means you have a circle with 4 sides and 4 curved parts. Intentional

remove all breaks which don't give you a passing rating (circle or X). They're all so short it doesn't matter. just added them because of Derekku -.-
there's a lot of nazi spacing/symmetry opportunites that you can catch which I won't do (yet).

I don't like the beatmaps. Insane is too hard for me to really enjoy, and easy/normal/hard are too slow, so I can't give you a star at least until you fix the skin. I can't pass insane unless I delete the approachcircle/hitcircle. it just mean i suck at mapping q.q
You're very good for your current level of play. You're in a unique situation, because as you get better at playing, easier maps become harder (tedious really) due to the lack of a steady beat and low approach rate. Your current rank isn't very high (~#23000), so you have a better gauge on easy/normal maps than I do. There are many different types of mapping, yours just doesn't suit my tastes. If you like your beatmaps better than the other two versions, that's probably because they were designed by an easy/normal/hard player rather than an hard/insane player.HakuNoKaemi wrote:
