Arumujika ac14.0V is the 'sequel' song to Numujika ac.10, both sounding like fun carnival music and had lots of hand-twisting streams. First seen on -of course- Taiko 14, and later on Taiko Wii 3. Has an impossible balloon note (but of course, it can't be shown here!)

Authentic Taiko Oni is 9* difficulty with 555 notes. All 3 Taiko diffs in this set are authentic.

...Oh, since I've done so much on this map I might as well introduce the character that pops out at every difficulty and is in the background. Alumu-chan is a personified character of the song's fun and playful quality, and is a small baby deer ( 'jika' can mean 'deer' in Japanese). The character was made by Mirai, from pixiv, as sprite art, and I made a vector version for the purpose of this map.

Credits to LuigiHann for the original things in my modified elements (from the Taiko skin).

Suggestion on solo BG - if possible put the song name bar at similar position like taiko diff, so that when ppl play insane in taiko mode they can still see the song name bar in that position?

00:32:013 (2,3,1,2) - A bit hard to hit for the newplayers due to the beating on blue line.What about changing them to all 1/2 beats and might remove one note of them?

I feel fine to other stuffs.

Really? I used the same mp3 file and volume of hitsounds for every difficulty, how can it be louder on Insane lol.

I can remove a few claps though but it won't sound as awesome (I thought it was too close to the Taiko authentic anyway)

@Zekira: You know that actually sounds like a good idea. If someone can make a non-vector, no outline picture for me that'd be awesome. I'm only good with simple vector art~ (is trying to run for cutest map of 2011)

REALLY loved the Normal mode, it introduces quite well to the song's rhythms. Not to mention the cute deer-based storyboard, perhaps. Let this map's priority rise!

EDIT: So I'm looking at insane right now (not modding it yet). Something feels incredibly off here... or is it just me not being used to small circles?
EDIT2: OK now I found out what it is. The slider velocity. It's a bit low for an Insane, lol.

Also, looking at the BG again, I really think something more cartoon-y will really fit way, way better here; you already have Arumu everywhere, why not take a more cartoonified carnival from somewhere or what...? IDK where you'll find one though

For such an energetic song, I really think the difficulties need to reflect such as well; right now I don't think they're as happy as what Arumujika is supposed to be portraying. The Normal diff. however, is VERY well made, I must say (I still think the slider velo is kinda low, lol)

Well if you can get to a full mod I appreciate your help a lot. I know your mods well :P What would you suggest for Insane?

Um, oops, I kinda edited my previous post a lot, go read it again lol.

First, if you're willing to remap, you can start by turning the slider velocity up a notch.

In all honesty, Normal's slider velo of 1.00 actually fits as a slider velo for an Easy.

Try making the Insane something like 1.8, Hard as 1.6, Normal as 1.3. It should work well

I am also going to full mod this once I am confident that the maps are now spectacular. Lol.

Another thing,

I actually like the beatpatterns here. Really, it's just the slidervelocity that I really kinda am a bit shaky on here. If you can keep the beatpatterns with increased slider velocity, it would be very great.

Also, try using jumps even at least once in a while. I think that's also something that Insane might want, too (don't overdo it however)

  1. The word "Taiko" doesn't need to go in the tags, since the word it's already in included in the source: "Taiko" no Tatsujin.
  2. Disable Countdown for the whole mapset because is not used.
Normal
  1. HP drain could be reduced one tick , since this is "Normal" but it's still the easiest diff for this mapset.
  2. 00:02:012 (3) - Why not start with finish :3 ?
  3. 00:11:441 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - This sounds better this way, try it.
  4. 00:15:727 (1,2,3,4) - Lol I love this part.
  5. 00:22:584 (1,2,3,4) - As you can see this pattern's spacing is not consistent, the spacing used between (1) & (2) is different of the one used between (2) & (3) then it happens the same with (3) & (4), so it's kinda confusing while playing, this can not be fixed with the actual grid size, I suggest to use at least grid size 3 and fix it.
  6. 00:25:155 (4,1) - (1) is like under (4) it looks ugly, move it some grids away (using the same spacing).
  7. 00:29:441 (1,2,3,1,2,1) - The rhythm for this pattern is the same but you used a different for each one , It's not that it sounds too bad but you should keep the rhythm regular if the song sounds exactly the same, here's how it's supposed to be: (Also the New Combo goes on the next note, like it's showed in the pic)
  8. Ok one last suggestion for this diff, since the breaks are not placed after a main beat or next to a main beat I suggest to make the breaks rhythmical like this to create a nice effect, try it. (you just need to drag the word "break" in the timeline)
  9. I find this difficult very attractive and fun to play.
Hard
  1. 2 unsnapped objects
  2. 00:13:155 (3,4,5,6) - Why don't you just follow the normal spacing, I tried testing that pattern and it's a bit hard to read it because the taiko skin is not helping much (Don't remove the skin, I love it, Just consider changing the pattern)
  3. 00:16:048 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - I don't like how spacing variates when the notes are exactly placed at the same distance in the time line (End of (2) with (3), end of (4) with (5), end of (6) with (7)) Can you make spacing regular please?
  4. There are some more spacing inconsistencies but those are too Nazi and most of the players can go trough them w/o affecting the game play however the one listed above is really noticeable.
  5. 00:36:298 (1,2) - Those blankets can look much nicer if the slider border is not overlapping with the circle, Just in case you want to improve it.
  6. 01:33:727 (4,5,6,7) - The same suggestion about this pattern.
  7. 01:34:584 (1,2,3,4,5) - Omg, this is even harder to read. I suggest this
  8. The main problem of the last 2 pointed patterns, is that the notes are placed in one single stream of 1/2, and the spacing variates too much, I hope you agree with me about changing them.
  9. Oh and the same suggestion about the rhythmical breaks (The same for the next osu! difficulty)

  1. Wow I find this difficulty very hard for me, Fun but hard. I have to say that I noticed 2 particular patterns that were really hard to read while playing:
  2. 00:29:441 (1,2,3,4,5,6) & 00:32:334 (8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) , You might want to check on them and make then a bit easier to read.
  3. 01:23:012 (1) - This spinner should start here: 01:22:583 . (It's a bit too short already so starting it earlier will make it more suitable)
