And yes, I did map this just to make that pun.

  1. Consider being more specific regarding the exact M3 Event this was from. In this case, this song is from an album released during M3-34 so consider adding that instead.

Cursed Cup
  1. 00:01:279 (1,2,3) - Even though the sound is rather sharp musically, I dont really see the sharpness in movement. For example, in the following measure you executed a more movement-intensive pattern that isnt as linear, which made playing it that much more interesting ( as interesting as a cup can be)
  2. 00:10:335 (1) - Not sure if this NC is exactly necessary, there isnt much cluttering on the previous slider and you are basically offering a sole combo for one object. Same applies for 00:11:467 (1) -
  3. 00:11:467 (1) - Ctrl-H here to give off the same effect as 00:08:637 (3,1) - which implies for more movement
  4. 00:23:920 (1,2,3) - again the movement here is really linear
To be honest I did notice that some new combos could be avoided, especially those that are placed on 1 object.
I dont really want to elaborate since it could be intentional, but some instances include
  1. 00:08:071 (1) - Music is continuous and doesnt end in a sharp note to account for an NC
  2. 00:21:656 (1) - This is straight up inconsistent with 00:03:543 (3) -

Spooky Salad
  1. 00:00:713 (3,1) - Direction change should be a neater alternative here to accentuate the strong instrument
  2. 00:03:543 - Continuous instrument expression here so instead I would drop the NC
  3. 00:06:373 (3) - I'd go for the spaced triple variant here, offering 1.40x DS here
  4. 00:14:863 (1,2,3) - Having this as a curved triple doesnt make much difference as having it being full straight. Even so, fully straight will convert in a neater way
  5. 00:20:524 (1) - In discord we talked about how you alternated between the 2 type of 1/4 patterns you use for the triples, and how mainly use it to emphasize change in flow. In this current pattern it would be the better choice to go for the spaced triple instead
  6. 00:28:448 (1) - Uneeded NC in my opinion, object clutter isnt that major
On the easier side of salads, still pretty solid work

Pumpkin Platter
  1. 00:01:279 (4) - In the cup and salad diff you had the tendecy of NCing this certain tick cause of the strong sound. However here this is not present, even though theres potentially more object clutter on the platter diff than on the other diffs. At first i thought of it as a cosmetic use but right now it seems more like a structural inconsistency. Investigate this
  2. 00:01:562 (5,6) - I'd say this is somewhat ambiguous i would increase the DS by 0.20x, consistency with 00:00:430 (2,3) -
  3. 00:02:977 (2,1) - In my eyes this seems like an optimal place for a HDash. Also consider splitting the slider into 2 circles instead to emphasize the distinct sounds on both the sliderhead and sliderend.
  4. 00:07:788 (3,4) - Also pretty strong sound to place a HDash, would accentuate the sounds better
  5. 00:09:627 (4,5) - Slight distancing buff would work nicely here, 0.15x DS
  6. 00:10:335 (7) - Optimal place for a new combo, Strong and sharp on top of that. Would help to reduce object clutter in this section as well
  7. 00:12:599 (7) - Similar point as above^
  8. 00:21:090 (4) - More horizontality would be nice here to emphasize both tick sounds, something similar to 00:02:977 (2) -. Also think about having a HDash here as well
  9. 00:24:203 (5,6) - Really underwhelming spacing here, have it at at least 2.70x DS imo
  10. 00:25:618 (2,3) - Could have went for something more intense and more consistent with 00:07:788 (3,4). Also take into account my suggestion about adding a HDash here as well

  2. 00:01:137 (4,5) - I'd make this spacing less ambiguous and offer a more generous dash towards the HDash
  3. 00:03:543 (5) - NC here to avoid possible object clutter
  4. 00:05:665 (4,5) - Again somewhat ambiguous spacing here
  5. 00:07:505 - this has the same sound as 5 yet its expressed as a 1/2 circle not a 1/4 slider. You could have this be a 1/4 slider as well. Would encourage more movement
  6. 00:11:184 (7,1) - Would have expected something more intense here, as it is the downbeat
  7. 00:16:562 (8) - NC here to avoid object clutter for spooky 1/8 snap
  8. 00:16:986 (13,1) - Maybe bump this up to 3.00x DS instead. Extra spacing could accentuate the snappier sound here
  9. 00:29:510 (1) - This isnt snapped correctly, the sound you want to follow here is really weird as it is, either simplify the rhythm or look for the correct snap
  10. 00:27:882 (2,3,4,5,6) - Since pitch is getting higher and higher here, it would make more sense for the spacing to gradually increase in this pattern, rather than using a fixed DS jump

  2. 00:01:137 (4,5) - I'd make this spacing less ambiguous and offer a more generous dash towards the HDash - I like the antiflow feel here, and the dash to it fits nicely for the bass note.
  3. 00:03:543 (5) - NC here to avoid possible object clutter - Isn't really too much, fits under guideline.
  4. 00:05:665 (4,5) - Again somewhat ambiguous spacing here - The reason for it being kinda small is to allow more for the antiflow out of it, I think making it really high would confuse a player.
  5. 00:07:505 - this has the same sound as 5 yet its expressed as a 1/2 circle not a 1/4 slider. You could have this be a 1/4 slider as well. Would encourage more movement - 5 is a 1/4 slider for the clap sounds.
  6. 00:11:184 (7,1) - Would have expected something more intense here, as it is the downbeat - The note here isn't really that intense, I think a dash into the antiflow gives the downbeat enough emphasis.
  7. 00:16:562 (8) - NC here to avoid object clutter for spooky 1/8 snap - I think the current adjustment of the NC pattern is enough to avoid clutter here.
  8. 00:16:986 (13,1) - Maybe bump this up to 3.00x DS instead. Extra spacing could accentuate the snappier sound here - Increased a tiny bit.
  9. 00:29:510 (1) - This isnt snapped correctly, the sound you want to follow here is really weird as it is, either simplify the rhythm or look for the correct snap - 1/12 sounds better.
  10. 00:27:882 (2,3,4,5,6) - Since pitch is getting higher and higher here, it would make more sense for the spacing to gradually increase in this pattern, rather than using a fixed DS jump - Keeping in mind the HDash to 4, the distance to 5 feels bigger than the distance to 3 due to the velocity change requied.

  1. Some sort of indication of who mapped what in the description would be beneficial, since it's not separated by bookmark as well
  2. 00:01:562 (2,3,1) - Not exactly the biggest fan of this pattern. Both 00:01:562 (2,3) - and 00:01:845 (3,1) - are pretty strong movements, both with antiflow. My personal suggestion would be to make 00:02:411 (1) - more vertical, like this or something. You'd obviously need to change some patterns after that. If you desire to keep the antiflow, some reduction would definitely be nice.
  3. 00:23:920 (1,2,3) - These all felt a bit too far for me, considering that's the distance being used for emphasized notes, and they all aren't emphasized the same way. Reducing the distance between the circles at the very least would be nice!

  2. 00:11:184 (4,1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - This feels maybe a bit too dense for a salad. Maybe removing the 1/4 part of 00:11:184 (4) - and deleting 00:11:891 (4) - would help the density be a bit more manageable?

  1. I think the spread between this and the salad is far too big. The salad was very simple and not too dense compared to patterns introduced here like 00:15:996 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - or more complex patterns like 00:00:430 (2,3,4) - . I'd suggest you rethink some things about this diff to make the spread properly bridge to the rain, but for now I'll just mod it as it is. Again, I'd highly suggest changing this diff.
  2. 00:00:430 (2) - To start, I think removing the 1/4 on these would be nice. Keeping the 1/4 dashes for the top diff would be a good way to appropriately bridge the spread.
  3. You could also try chopping down streams like 00:03:543 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - , by removing 00:03:896 (6,7) - and giving more time to react to the high density here. If you want to do a little extra, deleting 00:03:755 (4) - as well would be super helpful. It keeps your 1/8 theme while making it far more manageable.
  4. Try deleting 00:16:208 (4,6) - and 00:16:774 (4) - as well for the same purposes. It might sound weird to cut the stream, but it increases playability a lot in my opinion.
  5. This above stuff repeats in the second part. Nice diff otherwise

  1. 00:08:354 (7,8,9) - Either more curve or a repeat slider shape on this would be nice. Feels a bit too shallow as it stands right now.
  2. 00:10:194 (3) - This is also pretty shallow, try x:336? and maybe 00:12:458 (3) - to x:352 as well. They just fall a bit short for me and they're kinda easy to overshoot coming out of the curve
  3. 00:14:863 (3) - Also feels a bit shallow, try either making it fully horizontal or turning it into 3 circles for a bigger effect on those strong notes.
  4. 00:15:430 (4) - x:216 here feels a lot better to me. The distance to this note is a bit too short, so increasing it like this not only keeps the dash to 00:15:713 (5) - , but also prevents silly overshooting.
  5. 00:26:467 (6,7,8) - Same comment as with 00:08:354 (7,8,9) -, just needs to be pronounced more please :D
  6. 00:29:533 (1) - This feels like 1/12 to me at 25% (even heard it without 25%). It's hard because of the piano, but you can clearly hear it start at 00:29:533 - .
  7. 00:30:147 (3,4) - Suuuper short distance. I know it might be hard to increase it because of 00:30:430 (4,5) - , but if you can find a way, please do it. I overshot it T_T

She originally mapped the difficulty, and then with her permission I made changes, however some of these changes were quite substansial considering the length of the song, so it was more of a collab effort.

  1. 00:01:845 (3,4,5) - Even though 00:01:562 (2,3) - is the same distance as 00:00:430 (2,3) - , 00:01:562 (2,3) - has more of an antiflow aspect to it that I think would benefit from a slight reduction here. It just feels a tad bit too much as it stands to be a walk. - Decreased distances a little.
  2. 00:11:184 (4,1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - This feels maybe a bit too dense for a salad. Maybe removing the 1/4 part of 00:11:184 (4) - and deleting 00:11:891 (4) - would help the density be a bit more manageable? - Hmm I feel it's fine since the cup and platter are also a bit more dense than average and the bpm is low, so this works nicely for spread.

  1. I think the spread between this and the salad is far too big. The salad was very simple and not too dense compared to patterns introduced here like 00:15:996 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - or more complex patterns like 00:00:430 (2,3,4) - . I'd suggest you rethink some things about this diff to make the spread properly bridge to the rain, but for now I'll just mod it as it is. Again, I'd highly suggest changing this diff. - First pattern there seemed fine, but decreased distancing on the second slightly.
  2. 00:00:430 (2) - To start, I think removing the 1/4 on these would be nice. Keeping the 1/4 dashes for the top diff would be a good way to appropriately bridge the spread. - Limiting 1/4 dashes to the top difficulty ruins any kind of progression in my opinion, since it's a low bpm song and the salad used plenty of 1/2 dashes.
  3. You could also try chopping down streams like 00:03:543 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - , by removing 00:03:896 (6,7) - and giving more time to react to the high density here. If you want to do a little extra, deleting 00:03:755 (4) - as well would be super helpful. It keeps your 1/8 theme while making it far more manageable. - I don't really feel that deleting movement in these streams is necessary, as it's very simple movement that's used during them.
  4. Try deleting 00:16:208 (4,6) - and 00:16:774 (4) - as well for the same purposes. It might sound weird to cut the stream, but it increases playability a lot in my opinion. - Same here, I feel the patterns used are simple enough that it's not necessary.
  5. This above stuff repeats in the second part. Nice diff otherwise

  1. 00:08:354 (7,8,9) - Either more curve or a repeat slider shape on this would be nice. Feels a bit too shallow as it stands right now. -Increased curve slightly
  2. 00:10:194 (3) - This is also pretty shallow, try x:336? and maybe 00:12:458 (3) - to x:352 as well. They just fall a bit short for me and they're kinda easy to overshoot coming out of the curve - I feel this is fine, the fruit right now are at where I hit with the catcher when walking these naturally so it's what's most comfortable to me.
  3. 00:14:863 (3) - Also feels a bit shallow, try either making it fully horizontal or turning it into 3 circles for a bigger effect on those strong notes. - Made it horizontal.
  4. 00:15:430 (4) - x:216 here feels a lot better to me. The distance to this note is a bit too short, so increasing it like this not only keeps the dash to 00:15:713 (5) - , but also prevents silly overshooting. - Increased a tiny bit but not that much.
  5. 00:26:467 (6,7,8) - Same comment as with 00:08:354 (7,8,9) -, just needs to be pronounced more please :D - Done.
  6. 00:29:533 (1) - This feels like 1/12 to me at 25% (even heard it without 25%). It's hard because of the piano, but you can clearly hear it start at 00:29:533 - . - Yeah I agree. Fixed with Nokashi's mod.
  7. 00:30:147 (3,4) - Suuuper short distance. I know it might be hard to increase it because of 00:30:430 (4,5) - , but if you can find a way, please do it. I overshot it T_T - Increased a tiny bit.

  3. 00:18:826 (3,1,2,3) - Almost exact same motion is repeated three times, you varied this up before and still managed to follow nicely, maybe move (2) to the left instead
  4. 00:29:014 (2,1) - For a calm ending, this spacing is on the large side, I'd prefer if it was reduced just a touch

  1. 00:06:656 (5,1) - This spacing is a little stronger than similar back/forths which were 1.40x, making it a bit of a pain to catch for new players who won't spot this minor difference until it's too late
  2. 00:16:986 (3,1) - Easy to miss since again, this spacing is slightly stronger than the one that came before it at 00:13:448 (4,1) - I get that it's a stronger sound, but I feel you should compromise a little for playability here
  3. 00:19:958 (3,1) - Yeeesh direction change after this triplet is kinda annoying since you spaced 00:20:524 (1,2,3) - quite a lot. I'd remove the direction change by putting (4) on the left, or bring the triplet close together so they can easily be caught by stacking and walking

Platter
  1. 00:00:147 (1,2) - I don't know why but having first transition be a semi-dash to a middling strength note just feels so weird to me. I'd keep these as walks, at least for the first couple of iterations, to focus on the strong sounds like 00:00:430 (2,3) - and get the player used to the more frequent dashing
  2. 00:04:109 (8,1) - This is kind of a borderline walk after the previous hyper, if you do something with the above, you could probably move (1) closer for more leniency. Same can apply to 00:08:637 (3,1) - especially since the (1) there is much weaker
  3. 00:06:939 (1) - Not a fan of introducing this 1/4 antiflow wiggle so early in the map. The BPM is low sure but you had nothing similar to this for 1/2 patterns in the Salad (except for the one thing I mentioned which is kinda similar), so this comes across as very unexpected
  4. 00:13:165 (3,4) - Wouldn't recommend such a dash after double dash and hyper, your previous patterns were comfortably walkable after hyper and it offered a nice rest moment, but this can be pretty annoying to hit if you're predicting more of the same
  5. 00:16:986 (6,1) - 1/4 dashes into antiflow hyper feels kinda forced compared to the nice flowy streams you have before it, (1) on the right hand side plays much more smoothly for me, though you'd then need to do something about 00:17:128 (1,2) -
  6. 00:18:260 (1,2) - Again, hypers followed by semi-dashes are annoying, though I guess in the second half of the map you can argue a case for them
  7. 00:18:543 (2,3) - 00:19:675 (2,3) - 00:23:071 (2,3) - aren't these distances much smaller than what you had in the first half (and 00:24:203 (2,3) - )? - (2.2x vs. 2.7x)

Hello! I think the artist should be romanised to "Yura Hatsuki" as this is how it is romanised on her website & soundcloud.

i think artist should be changed to preferred romanisation as well. the metadata he provided above doesn't offer any romanisation of the name, and since the artist has an established preferred romanisation it'd be more appropriate to use that.

from what i can find, it was released under the circle "Yura Hatsuki" so current metadata should be fine; just the romanisation needs to be changed.
