Update on some changes (took over some parts due to people being busy):

00:14:977 (6,1) - reduced spacing
01:23:459 (4,5) - increased spacing but not till hyper
01:29:270 (1) - brought it to x:400
01:30:527 - made the patterns dash every 2 beats

03:26:129 (1) - this section’s sv is really high, especially since it was before a slow section. would it be possible to lower it a bit?
03:42:464 (1) - might be a bit much to introduce both direction change for sliders on the edges and in the middle. Might be better if the middle pattern changed direction after each one, so it’s less sudden.
05:11:914 (4,5) - can you reduce these by a little
05:28:642 (3,4,1) - reduce 4,1 a bit since you decrease SV in the last two sliders
05:34:768 (2,1) - nerf the hypers at least a bit, nothing changed from the previous section at all
05:44:349 (1) - increase the SV to 1.3x or 1.4x here, would make this pattern easier.

02:52:987 (5) - ctrl-g dash is kinda big after hyper
03:02:569 (2) - really missing out on the 1/3s here
03:46:234 (1) - fundamentally, there’s nothing wrong here, it just gets kinda boring to play vertical sliders through the whole thing
04:47:176 (3,1) - Can you adjust these so that the droplets are easier to catch, just move them out a bit
again, this section gets really repetitive with non stop copy paste + ctrl-h, is there really nothing that can be done to make it fun to play while keeping your style? Not everything in that section would need a hyper

00:50:317 (6) - This could really use a hyperdash though it has a point, I do not really want to implement a dash in the 1/4 beat, it's quite sudden

Popped for snapping issues related to ⅙ and ⅛

Sorry for coming in out of nowhere. I was interested to rebubble, but had to take a look at the whole set first.

Std Collab
looks fine

CtB Collab
01:29:584 (3) - 01:39:637 (3) - These should be snapped to ⅙, not ⅛.
02:52:516 (2) - These are snapped as ¼ on the standard diff, but that’s acceptable for keeping playability. Here, there’s almost no reason not to use ⅙ because they play identical, and it follows the song better. (Especially when it’s inconsistent with how 03:02:569 (2) - was mapped as ⅙ too)

Popped for the issues above, placing a veto until there are additional changes made below.

There are huge inconsistencies within the difficulty between each collab mapper. Some are mapping a rain, some are mapping a deluge. This is most prevalent with CLSW’s sections, which were remapped a couple months ago, whereas the rest of the diff was made 3 years ago.

05:06:652 (1) - This section is one of the hardest parts in the map, making it inconsistent with the whole diff. Having high spacing between the repetitive sliders of 05:06:966 (2,3) - provides significant challenge to the player. Combined with frequent use of large ¼ hyperdashes every 1/1 makes this section much harder than any part of the kiai, which had much more limited movement and was much easier to play.
This section is far more intense to play than the rest of the diff, while the music is far weaker and is fading to the outro.

Fortunately, this is incredibly easy to fix. If you search on the thread for an older version of the collab, you can see how much has changed. All streams in this section above are much more organised, clear to follow, and match the intensity of the song. While remapping, it was decided for one reason or another that buffing his sections from 6.5* to 7.2* was a good idea?
I would honestly be fine with rebubbling if the current version of this section was replaced with the old one.


There are many more overmapping issues on CLSW's sections, in no order

05:15:448 (1,2,1) - The song intensity here has completely dropped to zero, only small wubs are in the music. Yet there are full screen jumps again. Reduce the distance to match the song’s intensity. If you compare this section to the old version, there aren’t even hyperdashes used.

05:36:495 (3,4) - This is a massive full-screen jump on some of the least intense drums in the least intense section of the entire song. They’re mapped with almost the same intensity of the buildup to the kiai at 02:20:788 (1) - .

02:20:788 (1,2,3,4) - There’s a buildup here, but it’s far too large compared to everything prior and after this. Nerf it to what it was 3 years ago.

03:26:129 (1) - Reduce the slider velocity used here. There’s more movement used than in the kiai sections, which contrasts the intensity of the song.

03:41:207 (1) - It’s honestly just disappointing for me that you value following pp more than following the song.
If this was just a CLSW map, it would have probably been acceptable, where the rest of the map would have had the same consistent difficulty with his own sections. However, the other mappers viewpoints were not considered when CLSW made changes to his sections. Until these are changed to be consistent with the other parts again, I can't agree with this set being pushed to rank.


Further unrelated issues which should be addressed
01:24:087 (8,1) - Edge dash here, combined with fullscreen hyperdashes at 01:24:558 (2,3,4) - make this pattern really awkward to play.
01:48:590 (3) - Why is this slider reversed, it sounds identical to all other triples in this section and has nothing in the music to make it distinct.
04:11:364 (1) - This pattern feels really out of place with all the antiflow and fast movement that’s going on. Changing this pattern would follow the rest of the map much better.
04:44:663 - This stream shape could really be improved, using two straight lines like this is very uncomfortable to play compared to curves that most other maps use.
05:45:134 (2) - This is much harder to play compared to the rest of the stream, and has no strong or significant sound on it. Ctrl-g for flow would be a better option here, same for 3 and probably 4.

Call me back once you think these issues have been fixed.

  6. 04:06:024 - I'm not sure about this part. It sounds like 04:06:338 - should be heavier. Maybe make LN end earlier and have a big chord? And add more jack? I think it definitely fits, but not sure how to add it
  7. 04:11:207 (251207|1,251207|3,251207|2) - I think remove |2| here as 3-note seems too over the top. It would still be emphasised by the jack, plays nicer
  8. 04:45:370 (285370|3,285448|2,285527|1,285605|3,285605|0) - I think you should continue this through 04:45:605 - here
  9. 05:16:705 - This section should really be the same as 05:06:652 - , they sound identical. I don't think intensity should decrease
