I can play osu with or without spectators and it really doesn't impact how well I do. It's something I've occasionally wondered about though.

Doesn't really effect me, though I do cursor dance more often with specs.
i like it when someone specs me, wasting their time on me <3
I feel I usually do a bit better with that hint of extra pressure on me.
