- 00:05:170 - If you're going to make this note a kat, along with a lot of congruent patterns after this timestamp, make 00:02:630 a kat as well.
- 00:15:329 - I'd finish out the pattern here with a don that leads to the finisher.
- 00:22:630 - No sound, this note could be removed.
- 00:55:646 - There's no sound that occurs on this note, so there's no need for it.

00:36:757 (216) - I'd wished you used kDkD than kKkD, sounds imo better and seems more consistent, sound-wise.

@Weber: Update her difficulty. 🤔
[Oni]
00:25:170 - You could add a note here. Why? Since you followed the rhythm of 1/2 sounds like in 00:25:805 (92) - or 00:27:075 (98) - it'd makes sense to go with a don note here too. It feels pretty odd to stop here suddenly. After that, you could also change 00:25:011 (88) - to a Kat note, since it's still a lighter sound than 00:25:170 - for example.
00:58:026 (88) - and 00:58:186 - ~ done
00:31:202 - I think you want to avoid too long pattern? At least it felt like that while playing - this isn't bad at all, it's actually something for once to see a more natural Oni Difficulty. However, I believe the flow is better if you add a Don note on 00:31:202 - . the short kdk is pretty weird. done except made them all kats to make it less back-and-forth between k and d
00:33:742 - ~
01:04:218 - ~
01:06:757 - ~
01:14:376 - ~
01:16:916 - ~
00:32:154 - Also here you may want to add a Don note, the big drum sound can be followed by this way very nicely.
01:05:170 - ~
01:15:329 - ~
00:34:694 - For this case, you may leave out the Don note (just like it is right now) since the big drum sound is missing (or actually being less present) at this time. all applied
[Muzukashii]
00:16:916 (40) - I would suggest removing this note, you left out 00:11:837 - at this place so this would be pretty nice to stay consistent that way.
00:49:932 (40) - ~ done
00:38:662 (117,118) - Personal suggestion: You could remove these two notes so you split anything after 00:39:138 - from the part before 00:38:345 - . Generally it would be nice to have a little break before starting the second loop. i dont think any alternative really fits here
01:11:678 (4) - instead of removing both notes, just remove (4) here. That rather fits. same as ^, the doubles are kinda necessary to not sound awkward imo
01:11:836 (5,6) - you have two notes here, dude.
[Futsuu]
00:00:250 - 00:05:329 - https://derpovic.s-ul.eu/wHsWJa2J.png I think these patterns works better since Muzukashii works with 1/2, while the single 1/2 don note on 00:01:043 - is quite weak compared to these pattern. I am unsure if you want to stick with Futsuu as the lowest difficulty, if so I'd recommend easier pattern - like the example I just give.
00:05:329 - 00:10:408 - https://derpovic.s-ul.eu/riitfCBF.png for here it can be slightly harder compared to now, the ddk fits well to introduce some 1/2 (while I can tell you that ddk is naturally easier to follow than a standalone 1/2 note, trust me), although it looks long the combo should be fine due the many kat notes. The marked notes are big kats (basically what they're already)
00:10:408 - 00:15:488 - https://derpovic.s-ul.eu/OAjROtxv.png Something that you ALWAYS should prefer are single-colour "Doublets" in Futsuu Difficulties, they are by far easier than dk or kd. I've changed that part a bit in the density which makes the flow more consistent. Skipping beats makes no sense if the flow suffers through it. the k d k d contributes more to the song and makes it feel more natural to play.
00:21:202 - Pretty much the same what I said above: to skip this beat is imo pointless if you can play it anyways, you should add a Don note here.
00:24:694 - 00:28:186 - https://derpovic.s-ul.eu/zxGSuvhx.png the smaller number of notes works better than having awkward and forced breaks which skips the strong beats at this section, again the marked notes are Finishers, Big Don works imo better here.
00:34:535 - 00:38:345 - https://derpovic.s-ul.eu/gCetZtWg.png although the SR goes up a bit, this is an easier version of your current pattern.
going through the suggestion it actually push up to 2.08* which is... well, firetruck me. Well, we also could try to leave out the 1/2 parts, the SR goes significantely down, enough to deal with the small amount of SR you get.yeah this all seems good ow my brain

- 00:08:821 - / 00:27:869 (24,25) - add a k because you're following the clap every 2nd and 4th beat but you missed one here ;-; Also, this would complete the "hit three!" pattern in the game
00:18:980 (5,6) - I think kD d would be better than kK k here because it's would help differentiate it from the surrounding kats- 00:19:932 - add a finisher here because it's the same sound as the previous
- 00:25:964 (19,20,21,22,23,24) - / 00:58:980 (20,21,22,23,24,25) - consider inverting this to kkd kkd, this will help maintain the consistency of using k on every 2nd and 4th and it will help differentiate the pitch of 00:25:329 (18,19) - these and 00:27:869 (24,25) - these
- 00:44:376 (9,10) - don't map this as two kats, it leaves too much monochrome in this area, I recommend you make it consistent with you pattern back 00:11:361 (10,11) - here

- 00:17:075 (49) - k basically same reason as above
- 00:32:789 (122,123) - / 00:35:329 (134,135) - differentiate these, they very in pitch, either kd or dk i dunno this seems pretty perfect pitch-wise to me already :/

I think you can delete "Video Game" from the tags as they will normally be set as the genre of the map. Poke a QAT for a second opinion as they are the ones who set them, tho.Jon's Kantan
- 00:18:027 (12) - As there is already too many kats in this section, you should consider changing this note to a don instead. It also sound good tho.
- 00:23:107 (5) - I'd suggest you to change this kat for a don, as the previous note doesn't have a similar sound as this one note. Also, it will have the same pattern as 00:20:567 (1,2,3) - but with reversed colors.
- 00:31:996 (16,17,18) - You can deny this one, but I would like your opinion on that one. Since it's a Kantan difficulty, which means the easiest difficulty on the mapset, it would be nice and more beginner-friendly if you'd delete both (17) and (18) notes. As there are a very loud bass drum sounds for these three notes, you seem to have forgotten to emphasize the same sound but on 00:32:948 - . As I previously say, since it's a Kantan difficulty, you wouldn't go crazy on your notes, so the most easiest thing here will be simply delete these two notes. 00:31:996 (16) - This note will do quite the job in emphasizing the loud sound.
- Apply the same thing for the rest
Futsuu
- 00:02:154 (4) - If you were looking at the beginning of Kantan, Jon was using 2/1 notes for quite a while, so to make some kind of transition from these two difficulties, you should consider deleting this note, but keep 00:02:789 (5) - this note to make a transition with the next measure. Try to be consistent until 00:07:869 (1) - .
- 00:14:853 (1,2) - With these two notes here,
- 00:15:488 (1) - I'd suggest you to add a finish hitsound here as we can perfectly hear it in the background of the song.
- 00:24:694 (18) - I feel like you can replace this note by a kat instead.
- 00:33:265 (37) - With this note, it would be nice if you'd change it for a Don instead, as it will follow this note 00:30:726 (32) -
- Apply for the rest
Oni
- 00:08:821 (11) - Due to the clap sound in here, you should add a kat to this note instead.
- 00:15:170 (41) - I'd change this don for a kat instead as the previous note doesn't have the same kind of sound as this note here. Also, it's going to have some kind of consistency with these notes here: 00:13:265 (30,34,37) -
- 00:25:488 - Just a suggestion here, I think it would be better if you would delete this note right here, so it will have a better recognition from this part 00:24:535 (85,86,87,88,89,90) - which has extra sounds that 00:25:488 (91) - doesn't have and this part 00:25:646 (92,93,94,95,96) - which is louder due to the finish hitsounds. TL:DR delete the note.
- 00:30:726 (112,113,114,115,116,117,118,119,120,121,122,123,124,125) - As for these two patterns over here, I don't believe they follow the song correctly. Yet, you should take the note 118, turn it into a don and move it between the notes 116 and 117. There is no apparent sound here 00:31:837 - that needs any emphasis. Should be the same thing for 00:33:742 (129,130,131,132) - as well. I feel as though this is fine, because of the consistent 1/2 notes in the music thanks to the trumpet
- Apply the same thing for the rest

> 01:23:424 - Keep it as k d K is fine when you are screening for patterns like 00:09:138 -
[Oni]
> 00:09:138 - pretty much the same as mentioned in Kantan, where's the Finish for the hidden cymbal crash? It is definitely okay to have a ddd K pattern since it is an Oni.
! 00:10:408 - I think you keep the mapping channel as melody too stiff, you can make more variations like inserting more 1/4 patterns before or in the middle of the melody phrases. The current patterns are not balanced since at 00:19:297 - , there is an emerge of densely built up patterns. That's why some 1/4 patterns, or relatively densed or extra notes should be put in the melody phrases. Moreover, Muzu-Oni this gap looks too narrow, more notes should be put in Oni for sure to make the spread look better.
> 00:11:837 - / 00:21:996 - / 00:28:980 - You can put a d here to maintain a relatively close connections between notes and notes (maintain density). It is not strange as you use off-beat patterns for the introduction part already. Certain off-beat pattern usages are expected and not weired right here.
> 00:13:424 - It's a good place to put triplet tbh. This note itself is an accompaniment, why not even putting one more at 00:13:503 - to enrich the pattern?
> 00:14:853 - another place you can use a triplet, kkd should suit here.
> 00:15:170 - a calp exists, changing to k despite the pitch should be more consistent in overall mapping style.
> 00:19:932 - definitely you should keep it as a Finish too! You make a very good contrast in terms of pattern usage. Apart from that, I think some colour should be altered: 00:19:297 (61) -
In this session, Finishers are stated out as D K D according to their pitches. 00:20:408 - changing to k to emphasize the upcoming on-beat D. 00:19:297 - / 00:20:567 - They should be identical to 00:10:408 - .
> 00:20:567 - Fix some patterns I mentioned above, the whole song is quite repetitive and you ought to know what to do :^)
> 00:24:853 - triplet is available (maybe kkk)
> 00:37:075 - / 01:10:091 - / 01:20:249 - A finish seems suiting the pattern you are going to use. O o O o O is beautiful!
> 01:12:154 - / 01:12:313 - they should be d k instead of k d, k should match on every clap, right?
> 01:22:313 - / 01:22:472 - same as above

> 00:23:107 - / 00:56:123 - d suits here because the tone goes down a bit (just a bit). fixed previous mod
> 01:08:821 - It's quite obvious that the instrumental part has some variation for the second Kiai. A clear cymbal crash is added right here, Finish should be put. It is fine and not too clumsy since it's already 4 bars away from the last Finish (01:03:742 - ). it may be, but too complicated for my liking in a Kantan
> 01:23:424 - Keep it as k d K is fine when you are screening for patterns like 00:09:138 - fixed previous mod

Pretty much all added, also managed to go through all of my difficulties and fix inconsistent Ds and Ks, thanks for the mod!strickluke wrote:

- 00:33:265 (37) - Change to K plox
- 01:06:281 (37) - ^
- You might be better off making the patterns like K K D instead of K k D in order to avoid problems in the future, but its probably fine as is.
Muzukashii
- 00:32:630 (96,97,98) - Maybe change this to dkk because it sounds better
- 00:35:170 (104,105,106) - ^
- 00:37:075 (112,113,114,115) - I would personally change all of these to finisher notes
- 01:20:249 (29,30,31,32) - Change to all finisher notes
- 01:22:789 (38) - Change to D or K (your choice)
- Your finisher usage in this map seems somewhat odd and random at times, I would suggest taking a look at where you could add or get rid of finishers in order to make the map more consistent.
Oni
- 00:25:488 (98) - Get rid of this note to give the player time to prepare for the next pattern
- 00:36:916 (9) - Change to k
- 01:10:091 (10) - Change to K
- 01:23:742 (60) - Probably should change this to D
good luck with your mapset!

- 00:05:646 (9,10,11,12) - You could change this pattern to something like k d k d too complex for my liking
- 00:08:186 (13,14) - Maybe k k too complex for my liking
- 00:09:138 (15) - I'd reccomend changing this to a K sure
- 00:41:202 (27,28) - Change this to k k if you did the same with the previous suggestion too complex for my liking
- 00:42:154 (29) - Change to K, like the previous suggestion sure
- 01:23:424 (27) - Add a k here to make it consistent with this note 01:13:265 (14) - sure
good luck with your mapset!

Oh here we are agaaaaaain
[Kantan]
00:05:646 (9,10,11,12,13,14) - This is pretty straightforward and even for Kantan standard very plain. One idea is to change the hitsounds to k. Meanwhile I find that 00:08:503 (14) - sounds better at 00:08:821 - . fixed~
00:10:408 - 00:24:376 - I think we can actually do more than just repeating 1/1 all the time with some small breaks between. I will give you some ideas for changes you can do:
-) remove 00:11:043 (2) - and move 00:11:678 (2) - to 00:11:361 - . fixed~
-) repeat this for 00:16:123 (9,10) - and 00:21:202 (2,3) - . fixed~
-) remove 00:19:932 (15) - to emphasize 00:19:297 (14) - better or add a don note on 00:18:980 - so this has more impact. fixed~
00:28:821 (11) - Instead of continue that combo into a fairly long one, you could focus to the long sound at 00:28:186 - and just remove 00:28:821 (11) - fixed~ completely. Additionally, you can add finishers to 00:29:456 (12,13) - , so they are stronger then. I want to save finishers for the kiai there
00:36:440 (21,22) - Also here we can make this part more interesting by moving 00:36:440 (21) - to 00:36:757 - and to change it into don. And a don note at 00:37:710 - is also pretty nice. fixed~
00:39:297 (24) - I would extend the break by removing this note. Not only because it would be a good decision if you applied to the previous idea but I find it is a calm part and it makes sense to have a longer break (while it wouldn't at the begin of the map, it's just the second loop after all). fixed~
00:38:345 - 01:11:361 - Just re-apply to the said things above. fixed~
01:11:996 (12) - In case you had added a note on 01:10:726 - it'd be too long for the combo so to delete this note would be recommend. fixed~
01:22:154 (25) - That one can be moved to 01:23:424 - , just to stay consistent with the things above. fixed~
So to summarize things: If that works with the Kantan (and let it check by some more people) I see good chances here. The Futsuu is also waaaay better than I remember from the last time.

Hi from my q
[General]
Though you say u only need mod on Kantan. But after I test all the diffs I have one more thing want to point out about the volume. All the diffs except the top diff's volume is a bit too high for me,especially in the intro. U sure 100% fit the music well? Why not do as Ayyri to set 75%?
[Kantan]
00:09:773 (12,13,1) - kkD. cuz big D always emphasize downbeat better.
00:42:789 (28,29,1) - same as^
00:18:662 (11,12,13) - better not to put 1/2 dkd pattern in Kantan. u know Kantan is design for the very begginer and mutiple color triple(especially dkd and kdk) always confuse them. And bpm189 is not a low bpm too so it really hard for them.
00:51:678 (11,12,13) - same as^ btw I would put kkd here.
00:37:710 (21,22) - kD for the reason of pitch
01:10:726 (11,12) - 01:23:424 (27,28) - same as^
Very cute song. And so does the map. GL

Hi from my queue~
[Kantan]
00:09:138 (11) - K because there is a cymbal sound in that point I prefer D
00:09:773 (12) - D~ why? owo k is more simple for kantan
00:42:154 (27) - K~ I prefer D
01:22:788 (26) - ^ I prefer D inconsistent with other parts
that's all, nice map
Alright, variances have been added to all diffs, and hopefully I haven't missed anything. Anything without a comment was accepted. Will keep looking once Ayyri sends me her update.OzzyOzrock wrote:
Nah, sorry. This is a veto.
[Oni][Muzukashii]
- 00:15:488 (46) - Don’t really need a finisher here, nothing calls for it.
- 00:25:646 - Similar to Ayyri’s diff, I think there’s a nicer way to give the 00:25:805 (99,100,101,102) - notes more emphasis.
- 00:30:249 (118,119) - Though it’s Oni, a break from removing these notes wouldn’t be that bad. 00:29:932 - can have a don to make up for it if it matters to you. Also applies to kiai #2. Again, like in the muzu, I think the clap sound in the music here needs to be mapped to, so i've kept it in,
and removed the other.- 01:18:980 - Chose to ignore the usual triplets here? sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit my b
You can also go ahead and modify some stuff in the loop. Even things like the note at 00:58:503 - are good. Not a huge change, but it’s a difference that the player has to look out for. Oni has a lot of freedom in this sense.[Futsuu]
- 00:08:821 (8,9) - Delete these notes as a break. It’s important to limit disproportionately long strings of notes. I think the clap sound is pretty important to map to here, so i'll be keeping (8) in.
- 00:26:123 (74,79) - k for both of these? Should bundle them up.
- 00:30:091 (88,89,90) - kkk? Just to differentiate it from the ddk in kiai. Then the same at 01:03:107 (88,89,90) - for consistency’s sake.
- 00:38:662 (117) - Delete this as another break.
I’m glad kiai gets harder to vary, but it creates a giant gap with Futsuu than needs to be taken care of. Additionally, you need a couple more breaks in it too. Hopefully I've accomplished this adequately by thinning out some of the doubles/triples that may not be all too necessary.[Kantan]
- 00:11:996 (8) - d? Lot’s to do besides k d k d k.
- 00:20:884 (12) - What is this note for? There is a consistent clapping sound in the music every 2 bars, starting on this note (00:20:884 (12,13,14,16,18,19,20) -) Also, removing this would leave an awkward 3/1 gap between notes. I'm pretty adamant in the logic of this note.
- 00:31:361 - You can add a note here, there’s no reason to make islands like these.
- 01:08:980 - No 1/2 note here? The others have it. If not (which I think I prefer), then the other ones should drop it too.
As the song loops, you can change the notes in some of your 5plets.Overall, the spread isn’t bad; but parts like second kiai neglect it. I’ve stated my problems and hope you can find another reliable mod before calling me back.
- 00:05:646 - What the heck, I wanted to suggest that when these beep boops kick in that the mapping could change and the diff that does it just had to be Jon’s. Nice!
Ever thought of something like this? Since it seems you’re kinda scared of using 1/2 (which you prooobably should)- 01:22:788 (26,27,28) - You mapped this pretty easy compared to the k kkd etc. stuff you’d map in other occurrences. I’m not sure why exactly.
This diff could also easily vary some doubles and other patterns as well.
thanks for modding~OzzyOzrock wrote:
