00:17:999 (1,2) - There is no reason for a gap here, the music is still playing even if the vocals are quiet for some time.

Except for the start there are no 1/1 sliders even though they make for variation and can reflcet the rythym better. I feel that you replaced alot of spots where 1/1 sliders were viable with 1/2 reverses, its a normal so there isn't a huge problem if some of the vocals on red ticks are not clickable. But there's sounds halfway through the sliders, so I should be using reverses on them...?

I feel like this has the same problem as the easy, although there are parts where the song reflects the music well namely 01:18:560 (1,2) and 01:29:775 (1,2) (where there is a small break), the map still feels the same during the whole song. It's a repetitive song, I can't really help that fact...

In short, implement some 1/1 sliders and don't feel forced to many reverse sliders

00:17:158 (3,4,5,6,7) - This is too intense for the start of the song and would maybe fit better in the chorus why? if it fits the vocals surely I should be mapping it?

00:19:962 (7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6) - Same here, these 1/4 gaps are way too difficult, especially the last 2 circles beacause the spacing make you think they are actually 1/2 gaps Fixed the spacing slightly, but still want to emphasise the last circle.

00:21:644 (7,8,9,10,11) - It doesn't feel like this follows the vocals It follows both the vocals and instruments for flow

00:24:168 (6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6) - I don't get all these 1/4 gaps Following the vocals

I can repeat the above points on alot of spots but im going to skip these as it would take a while since the song is full of them

00:32:859 (2,3,4) - Weird spacing It's meant to be a fast motion from 3->4, because of the vocals.

00:33:700 (1,2,3,4,5) - Atleast make the stream flow from the slider What's wrong with the current pattern?

00:34:822 (1,2,3,4,5) - ^ New lyric, so why?

00:36:504 (2,3,4,5,1) - Uneven spacing between all of these Emphasising the two sliders

00:39:588 (3) - You don't need a reverse slider here But that's how the vocals are...

I could go on for the rest of the song as most of it just spacing that is way too hard for this diff like 00:52:766 (6,7,8,9) But that fits the song... or misleading spacing like 00:57:252 (3,4,5,6).
I would recommend this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1_HRo-lWWI (or if you have some time his entire playlist of these kinds of videos) and then try to respace the song according to the amount of gap in timing you leave inbetween. Please don't try to justify your explanation with pishi videos.

Look, everyone makes mistakes and everyone has opinions on different maps, im on my first map and after remapping the entire thing twice its still bad in terms of creativity and original patterns.
What's wrong with the map: You switch between instrument and vocals in the same combo without warning witch is pretty bad but the biggest problem is that your spacing implies an entire different timing than what you expect (weird gaps and such with no difference in timing). Also, I'm not trying to justify my explanation with pishi's videos. it's just that when I messed up my map someone told me what I was doing wrong and sent me one exact video from the list which highlighted my mistakes and that helped me alot. The entire modding system mostly revolves around I do this for you and you do this for me so when someone does an NM, chances are they just want to improve other peoples maps/help them.

Anyway, enough depressing stuff.
So Gl with the map :).

00:17:439 (1) - Consider deleting this note. This is some kind of upbeat to the phrase that feels a bit too much considering the slow pacing of the map. Starting with the phrase on the downbeat is good enough imo.

00:24:728 (1,2,1,2) - the first repeat bugs me a bit for the following reason: It changes the previously used pattern (probably due to lyrics) and drives attention that way. However, the second repeat slider is the much more important sound (start of the new vocal phrase and first downbeat in the set of 4 measures) and it has its spotlight stolen by the previous one because it merely repeats the pattern. I think you should pay more attention to the overall phrasing here as the difficulty is kept at a very easy level and you can't properly go in-depth on small details like the changing vocals here. The downbeat feels much stronger for me at least.
If you want to keep promoting 00:24:728 (1,2) - I would suggest changing 00:22:485 (1,2,3) - instead(maybe to all circles?) so that it contrasts the previous combo that has barely any vocals

00:53:887 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I am not sure about this part in terms of context. It is the most soft part of the song with many of the beats on 2 and 4 only being taken by the singer, yet the density is literally the same as in all other parts of the song. There are some details that can be highlighted, yes, but imo this is not the appropriate difficulty to do so

01:09:588 (1,2,3) - If you broke the slider-circle-circle pattern here the start of the kiai wouldn't feel as much as a repitition. As 01:10:710 (2,3) - also work as a leadin for the kiai a small deviation in the pattern it would also be perfectly justified imo.

The kiai itself does indeed feel kinda repititive but that's what the music does so it is fine.
I really like that you throw in stuff like 01:36:504 (1,2) - that makes it a lot more bearable. You should use that at 01:18:560 (1,2,3) - as well for consistency though.

if you want the roast to spread to the other diffs you have to tell me ;)

Okey, now my opinion. I can understand that your map is following 1/4 spacing gimmicks, but, you forgetting that this is a hard difficulty, it don't need to be too much complicated, you have to make it suitable for players which will play it, even for DT farmers it will be too difficult. Your map is having a good variety of flows and structure, but please, have a tint that hard difficulty should be readable and teach players how to play different varieties of low bpm.

  1. 00:12:712 (4) - replace finish with whistle. I think this was a mistake but on the off chance it was intentional a finish isn't appropriate since there are really any distinct sounds that are supported by a finish nor is it any different from the other notes such as 00:07:906 (2,2,2) etc.
  2. 00:17:999 (1) - add finish on head?
  3. 00:21:224 (3) - making this into a 1/2 slider would not only map the held vocals that you've been doing with 00:20:242 (1,1) etc but it would also get rid of that slightly awkward pause.
  4. 00:25:570 (5,6) - you've used different spacing here than you have at 00:24:728 (1,2). Recommend to keep the distances the same (at least visually). Inconsistencies such as these do affect cursor movement which is something you don't want to have if you aren't particularly emphasizing anything; they can also affect the general reading of your map, something you definitely do not want. You know how they teach you use consistent DS for easy and normal diffs for the sake of reading right? Well think of it similar to that. When you have the same rhythms, patterns use different spacings in lower diffs where doesn't seem to be a justifiable reason to it (e.g. something drastic in the song it can serve to throw players off.

    You like mapping to the vocals, which is a good thing especially for a song like this where they are very dominant over ever thing else but i feel like you could follow them more accurately in some places. As you've done some overmapping for the sake of simplifying the rhythm even though you've gone all out in places such as 00:19:962 (7,8,1,2,3,1,2,3) with the use of sliders on the held vocals so it makes me think that you want to go all out and map the vocals as accurately as you can. Not only that but adding shying away from the long 1/4 circle patterns would add more variety to the map (that doesn't mean that some of said patterns don't map the music accordingly)

    The places I think they could be improved would be places such as
  5. 00:28:373 (4,5,6,7,8) - deleting 00:28:653 (6) would play cool since there isn't a vocal sound here
  6. 00:27:813 (3) - a rhythm such as this http://puu.sh/uSxEf/865f2f7cfa.jpg or something similar would better capture the held vocal not. Though at the same time this is also one of those minor spots where you can gloss over it like you have done and map to the background music; I just wanted to state this anyways
  7. 00:30:616 (4,5,6,7,8,9) - omitting 00:30:896 (6,9) would better reflect the vocal rhythm imo.
    Those are just some of the places, the vocals things are all in the verse, kiai time is fine.

  12. 01:50:803 (1) - I'm kind of against this SV change. SV changes are normally when the music itself changes not the vocals (very rearely does the opposite happen) this is slightly because of the intuition of it. The main reason I'm against it is that the song itself is carrying on with the same intensity when you've dropped the SV. So yeah I would personally not have the SV lowered
  13. 01:55:289 (3) - I feel like it would flow a lot smoother rhythmically to replace this with a circle and slider ( http://puu.sh/uSzTI/82cda40017.jpg ) or to just turn it into a repeat slider
  14. 02:07:906 - add a timing point at the end of the spinner and reduce the volume to 5% and change it to soft sample

00:53:327 - Placing a circle here would be more consistent since the rest of the patterns that are similar to this have a note here. I realize that it is the last measure before the buildup thing, but this is just my opinion.
00:58:373 (2) - The NCs are inconsistent by making this not NCed. The previous two repeat sliders all had their own NC, so why doesn't this?
01:01:738 (4) - I know that the slider fades out in time for it to be technically okay, but just the fact that there had been a note there could maybe screw someone up while playing [tl;dr the flow isn't that great here]. Maybe you could put the note down to x48 y256 or somewhere around there?
02:05:102 (1) - Instead of having the spinner start here, how about placing a note, then having the spinner start at 02:05:663? Your choice, but I like this idea better.

Just a quick note. I know that the notes are following the vocalist's words, but the places where he doesn't sing that are not mapped at all seem really awkward to me, for example after 00:17:999 (1) and 00:22:485 (1) there is a good amount of time that goes by where things that could have been mapped go unmapped. Again, this is your choice on what you want to do here as it is not a severe issue, but mainly an opinion.

00:24:168 (2,3) - AIMod seems to find a DS issue here.

01:42:392 (4,1) - Fix blanket.
02:05:102 - Same thing as my suggestion about the spinner in the Easy diff.

Lapis' Advanced

00:29:214 (1,2) - I know, this is a picky suggestion, but it bothers me how (2) is on a slightly different angle than (1). [Yes, I am aware that (3) in this combo is on the same angle as (2), but it just seems weird to me. Your choice.]
00:39:588 (3) - Shouldn't there be a clap hitsound here?
02:01:177 (1,3) - This is a really picky suggestion, but for some reason I really just don't like these sliders. Their curves are just really abnormal to me, I guess.

00:15:756 (1) - Why did you decide not to use a squiggly-type slider here? I imagine that you would, considering the fact that literally all other sliders that follow this sort of pattern before it are squiggly-type sliders. [Forgive me if there's an actual name for the types of sliders I'm trying to describe - I'm sure you'll get it though :P ]

The reason I didn't use the squiggly-slider at 00:15:756 - is to move it to the start of the vocals? idk I don't really know how to explain it properly but it sort of makes sense, right?

00:53:887 (1) - I don't think this rhythm is good, new players will get confused by many arrows, just put two 1/2 sliders, it would make it much more simple and easier to follow. That goes for all the sliders afterwards, so I won't mention this again.
01:09:588 (4,5,6,7) - Maybe make this the same as 01:02:859 (1,2,3) - to keep consistency, or put a spinner because the rhythm gets more intense, in this bit 1/4 sounds start appearing. I would recommend you put a spinner there.
01:19:682 (2) - put this as two circles, to keep consistency
01:45:476 (1) - By putting a bigger slider here, you're ignoring all the sounds between the beginning of the slider to the end of the slider, try to put a rhythm that wouldn't ignore the background music.
01:59:495 - There's a sound here and you're ignoring it so you should add a circle. Same as above basically.

Basically only issue in this diff is the spacing issues with 1/4

the spacing in general is a little weird bc sometimes 1/4 beats will be touching but when they aren't touching they look like the 1/2 spacing, so playing isn't always as intuitive as I feel like it should be

  1. 01:20:803 (1,2,3) - this combo definitely stands out in terms of length and consistency. You might want to look into it to make sure it works as intended.
  2. 01:36:504 (1,2) - that'd be cool if these two were using identical shapes, sort of like 01:32:018 (1,1) - this way the patterning would feel more structured.
    Note: 01:51:084 (2,4) - again, similar shapes could make the part feel more structured.
  3. 01:47:719 - I would really prefer this to be an individual circle. As a matter of fact, 01:46:598 (2) - I would probably just replace each of the beats with a circle, the vocals here feel pretty interesting and so do the drums.
  4. 01:49:962 (1) - minor - overlaps with the HP bar, probably should be higher as to prevent that from happening.

    Just a few visual things. I actually think it's a pretty cool difficulty.

  1. 00:28:373 - shouldn't there be somethimg as both vocals and drums feel pretty powerful. Probably a circle or at least a reverse from the previous slider?
    Note: 00:43:794 - same. Perhaps this, plus, the 3/2 gap feels a bit forced.
  2. 00:49:401 (1,2) - I doubt this is spaced intentionally as there is nothing to justify the change and it doesn't look consistent at all.
  3. 01:14:074 (1) - splitting it into a 1/1 slider and a circle would match the rhythm better and feel more consistent in general. See 01:16:317 (1,2,3) - for example.
    Note: 01:32:018 (1) - same.
