Hey! NM from my queue.
Fun map, best of luck getting it approved!
[General]
- d = don, k = kat, Caps for Finisher (standard stuff really)
- Why are all of your maps so damn good?!
- Apologies in advance for any unnecessary nitpicks.
[ Inner Oni]
- 00:18:587 (41) - Change to k, vocal pitch is very similar to that at 00:18:234 (40) and makes a good emphasis on the d at 00:18:940 (42).
- 00:26:352 (61,62) - Ctrl+G, vocal pitch clearly declines so the latter note should be the don instead.
- 00:29:528 (66) - Change to k, matches the higher vocal pitch at 00:29:176 (65).
- 00:37:637 (88,89,90,91,92) - I would recommend a ddddk or even better, kdddk. The notes at 00:37:814 (89,90,91) are significantly lower than 00:38:343 (92) and so the last four notes should be dddk; the first note could work either way, I made two suggestions because a d would be more accurate but a k would be less boring, so it's up to you what you do with this note.
- 00:41:167 (106) - Change to k, though I don't recommend it as strongly. The note matches that of 00:41:696 (110) and highlights the don triple in between.
- 00:51:755 (179,180,181,182) - Change to kddk to emphasise the guitar on k; the ending of this pattern is fine.
- 00:57:578 (228,229,230,231,232,233,234) - Invert the entire pattern so it becomes the ddkkkkd. Reason being is the noise of the whammy bar is higher pitch than anything else, the notes were placed well but the sounding feels backwards.
- 01:11:696 (320) - Change to k, it's higher pitch than 01:11:343 (318) and that is a k. The sounds at the times I just showed are also the exact same sounds played later at 01:12:655 (328) and 01:13:108 (331), which are also both k (so change the note lmao).
- 01:14:167 (337,338,339,340) - Ctrl+G, just sounds a lot better Imo.
- 01:15:578 (347) - Same reason I mentioned for 01:11:696 (320), though this note is fine as is because it emphasises the 5-plets around it. Up to you, I've left a suggestion.
- 01:34:108 (496,497,498,499,500,501,502,503,504) - Pattern is fine but I'm nitpicky when it comes to the amount of k in a pattern; I'd recommend changing it to kdkkddkdk, this way the start and end of the 9-plet are emphasised, as they are the highest pitched sections of the guitar.
- 01:50:872 (645,646,647) - Change to either kdd or kkd; after the stream the guitar lowers in pitch, evident by the deep sound made at 01:51:049 (647).
- 01:58:815 (716) - Change to k, guitar sound is rising, and differs greatly to 01:58:108 (710) which you've made hold the same pattern. Should you make this change, I'd then recommend changing 01:58:990 (717) to a d, but it's honestly fine either way.
- 02:08:696 (797) - Change to k for nitpicky reasons, vocal is extremely similar to 02:08:343 (793) and is fairly overpowering the guitar (also I think I hear cymbals, which I would say are always k).
- 02:13:108 (27,28,29,30) - Ctrl+G, pitch rises at 27 and drops back at 29; for this stream I'd also recommend changing 02:13:461 (31) to a k because of the high pitched noise that it lands on.
- 02:30:843 (177,178,179,180) - Invert colours, same reason 00:51:755.
- I'm actually really happy with these streams.
- 03:30:755 (420,421) - Change to d, so that the pitch increase with the following two notes can be heard better. As a side recommendation, you could also change 03:31:637 (430) to a k.
- 03:42:931 (538,539,540,541,542) - So you have kdddk but the pitch only increases from here, so I'd recommend replacing a few d for k here. I did some testing and kdkkk sounded pretty good (but that's probably just my inner farmer wanting to raise the SR).
- 03:44:696 (546) - Change to k, it's higher pitch than strong notes that are similar to it like 551 and 557, so it should be at least a k if those two are. Alongside this, 547 should almost certainly be a d to compensate.
- 04:14:343 (728) - Change to k, the climactic ending of that section of the song with a higher pitched noise.
- 04:48:402 (146) - Change to k, this note is too high in comparison to be ignored.
- 04:48:931 (152,153,154,155,156,157,158) - Invert the whole thing, the highest sounding section of what I just listed is where you have the dons, which you've surrounded with kats, I believe it should be the other way around.
- 05:14:343 (365,366,367,368,369) - Change to kdddk, the highlighted guitar parts are on notes 365 and 369 so they should be k (unsure why you have the middle note as k tbh).
