Hm. During stage 2, do we have to sing in Japanese or Korean or can we sing a translation? Because goddamn, my Japanese is terrible.
This will boost your confidence lol

You should be able to sing any POP according to the OP
This will ultimately be me. Thank you for showing me the wisdom of the ukelele dude.
And thank you Flan!

I'm really sorry to bother you, but I'd really like to confirm that my future song selections would be considered in the categories required for the future stages.

Pop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CB4K-d4ZEGA (Dai Dai Genome)

Rock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJVnRtZC76w (Silhouette; Naruto Op.16 or something)

I'd say, wait at least until you submitted your entries for Stage 1 as it is entirely pointless to ask when it's not even clear yet that you made it through the registrations.
If you ask now, chances are that you just cause a lot of work for Flanster that isn't needed.

1) Not sure, doubt its Pop.
2) That one is okay.

I appreciate that, thanks.
But anyway, it can serve them as information for next year if they don't make it!

The only thing I would like to see is people singing something thats more globally known so we don't have to scratch our heads figuring out what genre is this anime song. Just because I'm hosting an idol contest doesn't mean I have professional music skills.

If you don't want people asking you, you can always make them ask me :U I'll absorb some of your stress for you lol

I kinda wish I had bought my microphone a month earlier, then I could've tested it with osu!idol, and had the lulz of my life by breaking somebody's song.

I am a decent singer I guess, but my vocal range is fairly limited to somewhere else than 99.9% of songs I figure I could see being in osu!. Meaning that I sing bass or something, and if I really manage to put my heart to it maybe a tenor... Whatever, 2017 is a year too.

Also, hold more of these please, the best from the 2 previous years did sound really nice so I figure you could hold 2 a year without any complaints from anyone.

Once a year is enough :P

Twice a year would be way too much
[Hiiro Sakaki]
What about three times every two years? c:

well they do have a graph showing contestents from each countries that passed so I was thinking that they have already finialized the judging phase.
_DG
woop woop brunei woop woop.

EDIT: one o' us gotta go down sooner or later
Catgirl
that chart showed 150+ entrants and remember only 100 pass through judging into stage 1.

this means judging isn't done yet and the graph was just for the registrations that qualified for judging, not who advances onto stage 1.

Passed evaluation. Not judging. If that was the case results would've been anounced..

As for results, the end of this week.
Zeptaurus
Will the announcement show up on the front page when the judging is done?
