Hellow~
mod from your request, just making some suggestions
GeneralAtaraxia's Easy
- You can't map any objects (except spinners iirc) before the first timing point. Add another red line at 00:00:612 - to fix that in all diffs.
- conisder adding silent sliderslide, it's quite loud most times and doesn't match that well with the song, imo~
(00:45:202 (1) - in Hard as an example.. pretty loud :c)Normal
- 00:00:940 - and 00:45:038 - useless green lines, please delete them. (Just looks cleaner.. xD)
- try to keep your NC pattern consistent, you put them usually on each second downbeat, so why don't you do the same in the beginning?
00:06:185 (3) - and 00:08:808 (2) - should have NC, but 00:07:497 (1) - shouldn't, I think
add NC on 00:32:743 (5) - and remove it here 00:33:726 (1) -
add on 00:37:661 (3) - and remove 00:38:972 (1) -- 00:06:185 (3,4,1) - movement is really uncomfortable. Move (4) to the left of (3), like 12|216, so beginner players don't struggle as much to get this right
- 00:12:743 (2,3) - shouldn't this be another 3/2 reverse slider? There's a pretty strong sound at 00:13:235 - which should be emphasized, imo, and also this rhythm is different from 00:10:120 (3,4) - so it would be nice if it's mapped the same.
- 00:15:366 (3,1) - I don't care much about blankets, but this could really need some refining. And please move them a little further apart, so (1) isn't closer to (3) than (4), that looks confusing for beginner players
- 00:23:235 (1,2,1) - looks a bit untidy, try to shape the last slider more like http://puu.sh/oPapQ.jpg or http://puu.sh/oPamM.jpg ?
same for following sliders 00:25:858 (2,1,2) -
also for 01:17:005 (1,2) -- and try to avoid the overlap of 00:28:480 (2) - and 00:30:448 (2) -
- 00:50:776 (1) - thhre's a break in the vocals, so http://puu.sh/oPavp.jpg or http://puu.sh/oPaw8.jpg woudl work better, imo
- 01:13:071 (3,4,1) - all objects are visible at the same time which is pretty confusing to beginners because of the stack. Consider re-arranging this to make it better readable.
- 01:19:628 (1,2) - Consider making the straight parts parallel, looks better, imo
Hard
- 00:00:940 - if you don't change SV, why add a green line? You can just use the correct hitsound volume from the beginning..
- 00:01:923 (2,3) - rhythm sound off because there are some pretty strong sounds on the red ticks, try http://puu.sh/oPb9A.jpg instead
- 00:07:333 - I'm missing a circle here, consider adding one? :c
And 00:07:497 (2) - would work better if split into slider + cirlce, because the sound on the slidertail here 00:08:153 - is the same as (3) and would be nice if both were clickable; same for the following rhytm.- 00:11:431 (1) - the anchor point doesn't have any other use except of making the reverse arrow look misleading, please fix that. Or turn it into something like http://puu.sh/oPbyM.jpg
- 00:13:235 - should be emphasized somehow, sicne it's pretty strong and you've mapped it before. Try http://puu.sh/oPbE8.jpg ?
- 00:15:694 (2,3) - ctrl+g this rhythm to better match it to the vocals
- 00:17:989 (3,4) - simialr here, because of the strong sound at 00:18:317 - that should be clickable
- 00:19:300 (1) - two circles would represent the break in the vocals better, I think
same for 00:29:792 (1) -- 00:21:923 (5) - missing NC
- 00:25:530 (2) - new ryhthm is starting on the downbeat, please make it clickable. You could just re-arrange this to http://puu.sh/oPc21.jpg or (imo slightly better because you don't have 5 clickables in a row then) http://puu.sh/oPc4F.jpg
- 00:35:038 (5,1) - feels very weird that you have this gap here, because there's a beat and vocals, too, at 00:35:366 - and at 00:36:677 - and 00:37:989 - , too. I'd prefer if you add circles there, the rhythm is completely okay in a Normal.
And if you pay close attention, the distance for 3/2 is the same as the previous 1/1, because of the slowdown, you should increase spacing to ~1.3 for slow-down parts to make them differentiable from the standard ones. (You can take the Normal here https://osu.ppy.sh/s/391823 as referance, it's totally okay to change DS with SV changes if it helps understanding time/distance relation)
That way you'd also avoid confusing stuff like 00:38:153 (3,4,5,1) -- 00:38:153 (3) - missing NC
- 00:44:218 (3,1) - don't stack other objects below slidertails if in easier diffs if both objects are visible at the same time, please. It's to confusing. Also there's not enough time between the objects to break DS here, please fix that too!
- 01:17:005 (6,1) - kinda similar here, 3/2 stacks feel very unnatural to play :c
also same as 00:35:038 (5,1) - because vocals and beats at 01:17:333 - 01:18:644 - ; also about DS
and 01:19:956 (3) - missing NC- 01:24:874 (1,2) - unreadable at this skill level due to the DS change to 1.5, that's way too much of a variation for Normal
I'm getting a headache listening to this, so that's all from me, sorry. x-x
- 00:00:940 - same as in prev. (and all higher diffs as well)
- 00:00:940 (1,2,3) - rhythm feels very off because you ignore the strong sounds at 00:01:595 - and 00:01:923 - , consider re-arranging this rhythm; example
- 00:02:251 (1,1) - stack makes this unnecessarily hard to read, consider unstacking them for clarity
- 00:09:300 (2) - reverse on the stronger sound feels off, consider using circle + slider instead
- 00:12:743 (1) - reverse doesn't work well, because of the beat here 00:13:235 - . Consider removing the reverse and mapping that
- 00:13:972 - missing a circle? o:
- 00:16:021 (2) - how about two 1/2 sliders here instead? There's a strong vocal starting on the current slidertail, would be nice if it was clickable.
- 00:27:005 - similar here, consider adding another circle or turning 00:26:841 (2) - into a slider
- 00:36:677 - and 00:37:989 - should have circles, too because you mapped 00:35:366 (1) -
Also, they're missing NCs. (since you put them on each downbeat here)- 01:15:038 (2,3,1) - (2,1) almost touch, move them a little further apart?
- 01:18:644 (4) - should be same as 01:17:333 (1,2) - , no? Same for 01:19:956 (1,2) -
- 01:26:021 (2,1,2,3,1,2,3) - hmh, it's somewhat okay, but you can't completely cover the actual melody of the song (which sounds more like http://puu.sh/oPefo.jpg ), and it's noticeable. It feels weird to click 01:26:513 (2) - because ther's no strong sound at all, and it feels off to not follow something between 01:26:677 (3,1) - because (3) is an on-going sound. s: Consider re-arranging this. (Applies to higher diffs, too)
And good luck!
Thanks squirrel <3 I'll check on sunday, kinda busy IRL
