00:15:479 (2,3) - i think they arent supposed to be dash so reduce the spacing them a bit, hard to catch (2) because the anti flow I don't think this is antiflow, also no issues at all for me to catch it w/o dash
00:17:675 (4) - somehow still can caught w/o dash in edge of plate, reduce spacing a bit or make it higher a bit Nice catch. Took me like 10 tries to actually hit this w/o dashing so i'm surprised you managed to find it Increased the distance a little bit
00:21:823 (4) - this one is hard to catch w/o dash, reduce it a bit please, also if u want to keep dash for next circle then move it as well Changed some stuff here
00:22:189 (1,2,3) - they are consistent but hard to catch them w/o dash, at least i'd say to reduce their spacing a bit ^

00:11:208 (3) - cant understand why spacing increase here when the music is very weak. i'd say keep use ur spacing
00:06:816 (1) - i'd say increase spacing a bit here as the vocal is in pitch which means strong, choose 00:06:816 (1,2,3) - all and move all to x:312 for it
00:14:502 (3) - same here, the spacing somehow looks inconsistent, i'd say x:176 here to make consistent, also if u want inconsistent one, that should be higher spacing to 00:14:869 (1) - because the vocal

I'll increase the volume a little, but I really don't see the current hs being a major issue
Ascendance please replace the existing hitsounds with these:

seems fine but that cruel CS5, i think AR 8,5 feels too fast because of it and i think AR 8,3 works better CS5 is love <3 but yeah, I actually do quite like AR8.3 here

For all difficulties, the spinner at 00:37:563 (1) - is sorta random. It follows nothing really, there is nothing enlenghtened or whatever. So yeah, you guys better map this normally or not at all. Just make sure the drain is the same in every diff and git rid of this unfitting spinner! Solve that out with your guest mappers
Inconsistency with combo colours, fix your combo colours JBH! :S
This is somewhat optional but I wonder why Koli's used hitsounds are so different to the other diffs? Can someone please explain me that?

I am not a big fan of the 1/3 patterns as 00:06:694 (2,3) - and alike you used throughout your whole diff, but this cannot be changed now since that is the way you wanted to define this song. Except that it's a solid Salad with some extreme spacings where I clearly recommend highly to nerf them down a bit. More to this in my mod below:
00:21:335 (2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - This whole section uses too high spacing, the music is too calm for that, especially the jump at 00:21:823 (4,5) - is way too extreme. Highly suggest to re-arrange the notes and the spacing in general.
00:26:582 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,1) - It is fine to use some dashes here and there in this pattern because it fits the vocals, but not between every single note. This is too challenging for a Salad, so basically I highly advise you highly to only use a few dashes.
00:26:460 (4,1) - CTRL+G to have a better lead direction towards 00:26:948 (2) - .

00:05:352 (4) - I find it really weird that you still used some 1/1 slider at this point when we are at the Platter already. Don't you slowly wanna increase the density a bit and make use of the 1/3 tick which clearly follow a certain rhythm here?

So basically to fix the issue here, please see what I did for the Hyper at 00:24:751 (2,3) - and copy this to the other time section as well:

00:05:962 (9,1) - This is really, really too extreme. By far. Please don't do this in a Platter yet. I see your point with some of the used 1/3 Hypers in the kiai, but this one really plays too crazy for a Platter. For now I suggest to only have a dash here.
00:08:524 (3,1) - This distance is too high by far, compare it with 00:14:380 (3,1) - and make these both consistent by using a lower distance.
00:27:314 (2,1) - Decrease distance slightly, feels a little too rough still.
00:23:531 (4,1) - This one is pretty awkward to play, please at least decrease distance slightly and/or make (1) a bit more vertical to lower the chance of losing droplets on this.
00:17:675 (4,1) - ^Something similar as above applies to this, please make sure the subsequent slider has a lower angle.

00:05:962 (9,1) - Wall hyper, hi. Remember last discussion. This is pretty much easy to catch just because the wall stops you from losing the pattern. 00:06:084 (1) - CTRL+G this and move it back to x424 to avoid this.

I think the switch between vocal and synth is done well and fits the song rhythm nicely. Hypers only really fit to 00:18:773 (2,1) for the strong synth and vocal sounds respectively imo
00:36:464 - This beat should be mapped or else it feels very empty. Done

00:14:869 (1) - This slider does not really emphasize the vocal part at 00:15:235 - very well, remap this in order to fix this. Afterwards make sure that 00:14:869 (1,2) - are not stacked anymore. It's lame.

00:25:117 (2) - There is nothing outstanding at 00:25:483 - , aboid mapping the not so mandatory beats in a Cup. I thought about this for a minute but decided to keep it because of the way the vocal and background noise coordinate here.

00:32:438 (1) - Rotate this more to the right until it has the same angle as 00:33:048 (2) - for a generally better flow, vertical sliders are never cool.

00:05:352 (4) - I find it really weird that you still used some 1/1 slider at this point when we are at the Platter already. Don't you slowly wanna increase the density a bit and make use of the 1/3 tick which clearly follow a certain rhythm here? to differentiate from mbomb's platter while still keeping it enough to lead into the platter style mapping.
00:07:548 - , 00:13:404 - Why are these empty? Following the vocals > background noise. Only following background noise when there are no vocals to reinforce.
00:24:751 (2,3) - , 00:18:895 (4,5) - You already know why I mention these in the thread because we had a very detailed this discussion on discord, involving JBH. So basically to fix the issue here, please see what I did for the Hyper at 00:24:751 (2,3) - and copy this to the other time section as well:

Since it is very hard to follow what I did on the picture, I give you the exact x-positions as addition, JBH and me agreed that this would be the best solution to solve out this pattern: 00:24:019 (7) - x88, 00:24:263 (8) - x288, 00:24:385 (1) - x340, 00:24:751 (2) - x404, 00:25:117 (3) - x136 (fully vertical slider instead).
00:26:582 (1,2,3,4) - These are almost wall hypers, and you know very recently it was in discussion whether they should be wiped from ctb or not (as guideline) I want to keep the hyperdashes and having them even 1 grid lower forces them into a timing jump.

00:05:962 (9,1) - This is really, really too extreme. By far. Please don't do this in a Platter yet. I see your point with some of the used 1/3 Hypers in the kiai, but this one really plays too crazy for a Platter. For now I suggest to only have a dash here. - I think the way this plays is a lot better after the change from Xinely's mod, it made this hyper a lot easier to hit and I think it's fine now.
00:08:524 (3,1) - This distance is too high by far, compare it with 00:14:380 (3,1) - and make these both consistent by using a lower distance. - Done with Xinely's mod.
00:27:314 (2,1) - Decrease distance slightly, feels a little too rough still. - Done.
00:23:531 (4,1) - This one is pretty awkward to play, please at least decrease distance slightly and/or make (1) a bit more vertical to lower the chance of losing droplets on this. - Curved the slider a bit.
00:17:675 (4,1) - ^Something similar as above applies to this, please make sure the subsequent slider has a lower angle.
[MBomb's Overdose]
AR/OD7,5 for at least a bit of better readability, please. Right now the patterns feel broken on that low AR, too unfitting with the harsh HDashes. At least a bit of some higher AR would be fitting to this, please check it again and see whether you can agree on increasing the AR at least a bit or not. - I increased it to AR7.5, this is the highest I'll go though.
00:05:962 (9,1) - Wall hyper, hi. Remember last discussion. This is pretty much easy to catch just because the wall stops you from losing the pattern. 00:06:084 (1) - CTRL+G this and move it back to x424 to avoid this. - The wall doesn't stop you in this pattern at all, the momentum from the hyper is long before the wall, and even the edge of the slider doesn't go within 16 pixels of the wall.

00:18:529 (3,4,5) - While it's not too rough on timing, jumping like this is rather uncomfortable for a platter.

00:37:441 (2,3,4,5) - I'd reduce the distance or move 5 to the left side on this.

[MBomb's Overdose]
00:14:380 (8,9) - The way this slider flows feels rather mean, I'd recommend changing it or the note before/after to make it more friendly.
00:24:385 (3,4) - Really annoying to catch this properly, maybe flip it?
00:32:804 (2,3) - This in particular feels really rough and doesn't need to be so sharp of a jump, maybe reduce it?
00:36:708 (6,1) - This is also questionable as you have to take a hyper right into 6 and then make only a tiny movement to avoid missing, maybe make the slider go left instead?

Check other diffs and everything else seems fine.

I hope you guys are aware that Lost's Salad has a lower max. combo than the following Platter and almost as many as MBomb's Platter. Also MBomb's Overdose has a lower combo than JBH's Rain. The current jump from a 111 combo in Koli's Salad to a 138 combo in Lost's Salad is way too high, especially with Mbomb's Platter only having 141 combo, that is just 3 notes more.

In Koli's Salad I dislike 00:31:584 (4,5,6,7) - aesthetically, please try the following pattern (This will also be more consistent with 00:37:441 (3,4) - ):

In Platter you might wanna reconsider remapping 00:18:163 (1,2,3,4,5) - a little bit as done in MBomb's Platter because the current timeline does not fully follow a constant rhythm and seems to be a mixture of sync and vocals. Please take a look at MBomb's Platter to get another idea how to map this.

In MBomb's Platter please decrease distance at 00:37:563 (3,4) - drastically. Music is way too low already for such a high jump. It does not emphasize the music very well.

For Hyperion's Rain: 00:25:117 (1) - shouldn't this slider actually end at 00:25:483 - ? I cannot find any extraordinary beat at 00:25:422 - .You might also wanna reconsider 00:32:438 (1,2) - because there is no real excessive beat following at 00:32:682 - , so I suggest to skip this beat and lenghten the slider. Something similar applies to 00:38:295 (1,2) - .

Totally right, this slider must have changed length at some point whilst I was repatterning. Fixed

You might also wanna reconsider 00:32:438 (1,2) - because there is no real excessive beat following at 00:32:682 - , so I suggest to skip this beat and lenghten the slider. Something similar applies to 00:38:295 (1,2) - .
I wanted to give more emphasis to the (2) beats rather than have them as just a slidertail originally, but after testing your idea I decided a cleaner pattern works better here, so consider both applied

I like the way this plays and it also follows the synth quite well, as well as the pitch of the vocals (while, admittedly, not following the vocals directly). No change from me unless we can talk a bit more about it

- 00:09:012 (2,3) - x:448? the dash is a bit far imo

- as this diff still a salad 00:09:012 (1,2) - i'd say to not do 2 dashes in row (p.s : preferably to dash in 00:09:622 (2) - )
- 00:22:555 (2) - reduce like x:256? its hard to catch with dash and the music has no support to do dash here

just want to mention that compared with Rain, the AR of which is at a reasonable level of 8.3, Overdose's AR is too low, imo, as it has more intensive jumps than Rain.

That is generally how harder diffs work.

However with the AR I think its fine. It works as a gimmick within a sort of gimmick-y song, and with high AR DT becoming so prevalent and low AR being discarded, I think it poses a good challenge instead of a more conventional AR.

That is the entire point of the overdose. We had a very long and detailed discussion on the Overdose's AR before this got qualified and MBomb was able to defend the AR of his difficulty using a similar reason as Riari did. On this I just wanna add that reading low AR is a skill in itself and it shouldn't be neglected on CTB. The whole concept of this overdose was intended to be mapped for a very low AR. I absolutely agree with Riari.
