Normaly they should never be judged on case by case basis. Once the guest differ maps over 50%, it is "their set". And here it becomes even more obvious since it is a difference of about 35 sec, which makes one wonder why BNs skipped that even though it's one of the elementary rules in osu for good. Banned users are no exception either. What if it happens they get unbanned? Could have been prevented with owner mapping those 35 sec which has been given a solution for this case. Good luck guys!Okoratu wrote:
Since collabs are explicitly judged on a case by case basis i guess this should work then but it's already in wip / help o.o

I changed them to what they are going to be after I re mapMonstrata wrote:
Are the values on the mapset description accurate? or were they changed after the dq?
The case by case thing should apply to the collabs when there is a very little difference or practically no difference in terms of contribution. When there are almost 40 seconds more mapped by other mapper, it is clear that some changes are needed.Okoratu wrote:
Hi ono:
"For collaboration mapsets, the uploader should take part in all collab difficulties. The person who should upload the map is the one who contributed most to it. Maps with an ambiguous set of difficulties such as collabs will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure that the submitting mapper is properly accounted for."
We need to actually evaluate this thing on a case by case basis :d
I don't see how asking a few people for help is counted as considerable contribution. As for the other point, hitsounding the whole set isn't really enough to cover the difference in total mapping time, I believe.Okoratu wrote:
So:
Depths mapped less draintime,
but hitsounded the whole thing and was responsible for organizing the ranking process.
Im already remapping a section to make up for it.. we really dont need thisKittyAdventure wrote:
Well, I think we need Loctav's answer for this!
I already send a pm-message to him!
I understand why they use drain time as the only measure of contribution, because you can't quantify any of the other tasks involved in the ranking process.Okoratu wrote:

Question: is this justifyable contribution towards the mapset
