Added the knock-out bracket to the wiki. Thanks for the detailed feedback so far, especially to Railey2.
Should've been 7 isn't it? 4-1 Italy, 4-2 Lithuania and 2-4 lost to FranceKaruta- wrote:
Thailand lives! Thank you Singapore!
by the way, Hong Kong having one lost match with only 3 game losses?
Seems like the statistic overview was wrong, its just as kuur0 saidKaruta- wrote:

dear me, I wouldn't have noticed that cause Canada played so well against England in owc 2013 so I would have thought that they have been able to make itSi1entKiTTeh wrote:
Correct me if i'm wrong. But isn't this the first time Canada has made it to the round of 16
Canada for the past few years seemed to always have a really tough group apparently... So Canada hypee hope they can make it far this year.Karuta- wrote:

Remember when Norway made it out of groups.
And met Korea.
And it was single elimination.
it was sad.
Not like Taiwan would beat Austria with Score v1... They lost the maps against 3/4 FCs, mangekyou would probably be close (as it was now) but other than that Austria would still win, they are just top tier team in disguise.Xayne wrote:
If you would have told me that USA vs. Taiwan would have been a first round matchup in the knockout stage two months ago, I would have slapped you for stupidity. Crazy how things change. Scorev2 has really impacted some teams this tournament.

Are you a psychic and knew Taiwan was going to be grouped with a team like Austria two months ago?Jetzu wrote:

It depends a lot on the map pool. Players like Hvick/WWW/Rafis/Axarious/Elysion/etc are capable of playing much much more difficult maps than most of the lower ranking players. It's feasible to pick a map pool such that only these players are even capable of passing the map. I expect lower ranked players to get weeded out as the map pool gets progressively more difficult but also expect extremely under-ranked players like omgforz to stay strong.kuur0 wrote:
Rank doesn't mean a whole lot in a tournament/multiplayer setting in the first place lol... Other than seedings maybe.
edit: for now

You saying "Scorev2 has really impacted some teams this tournament." implied that Taiwan (or USA) would have different standing if OWC used Score v1, I just replied to it saying that Austria would still win with Score v1, if I was wrong in my understanding then I don't understand why you'd say anything about Score v2 in the first place.Xayne wrote:
