Seeing this game die again on the second day would be rather problematic. And i can't take jokes when everything ever said will be taken seriously, which is a habit i notice anyway.

You know Derekku, maybe you should point your attention towards adam2046.
I haven't seen him around for quite some time. If I am mistaken, please point this out.
But his absence from this forum and from the irc has lead me to suspect him as a vampire. Although, then again, I suppose inactivity really isn't a cause for suspicion alarms to go off.
Although that is what some of you are doing.

Well I am again voting Wojjan. In this log (courtesy of Ival) he acted very skeptical of Two's validity, even though Two was NK'd. And while technically it is possible that the vamps could have sacrificed a vampy Two, it really wouldn't have accomplished anything since all Two did was clear someone (well, two people, even though I'm not entirely sure how. I have theories though). If he was lying about being the Psychic, why not accuse someone? Even so, seeing as the coroner is very likely still alive, there really wouldn't have been any point to sacrificing one of their own this early.

So for me, this is a big deja-vu of the wolves last game who insisted on lynching NoHItter when it was fairly obvious that it was the wrong move.

But...as for Wojjan I personally don't see it being that much of a threat comparing to blackthorne...

I'm not voting for Blackthorne because he's a wolf actually but only because of the way he acts, I mean sure you can play defensively and stall but it is indeed majority rules and a defensive like his would never become a part of a majority.

He's not trying to unite people against Blackthorne, he simply stated what he thought about Blackthorne and everyone followed.
And might I add that I voted for DJ Blackthorne first, simply because I thought he was suspicious to begin with. The irc log that Chris posted already made me think against him, thus me voting for him. More voting was done against DJ Blackthorne after my initial vote.

Anyway, I'm still sticking with Blackthorne, and he isn't around to defend himself. I haven't seen him today. Or that could just be because I was AFK from the irc for a while. But Tode said in the irc that no one was talking in the irc.

matthew had the second highest vote count on day 1. Day 2 ends in less than 24 hours and he still hasn't tried to defend himself and seems to be hiding instead.

As for the "Suspicious statement" that Blackthorne made...

Chris states: "He wrote his comment less than a second after I said "no, not really"."

As I was not there at the time, I cannot know when Blackthorne started typing his comment. However, from the way this is worded and the timing on the log, the way I see it is that Blackthorne started typing it after Chris's first line. "I have a wolf on the inside who gave me all the wolf names."

If he had started typing it at the time of the second comment, it would be suspicious. Again, since I was not there, I can't weigh the statement.

As for the rest of Chris's case, I don't see anything about it that seems particularly wolfish.

ANYONE with a Human role is NEVER "not of any value/use," even Civvies; BECAUSE they are Human, they help the Human team outnumber the Vampires. Therefore I strongly suggest you stop your dangerous thinking, and it IS dangerous, because it is STUPID to lynch someone you think is a Human for ANY reason. If you believe someone is Human, but choose to try to get them lynched anyway, you are supporting the Vampires. I personally see LESS than ZERO possible benefit from "getting rid of a stupid/bad townie."

Just thought I'd say.

Now on the other hand, it would be FAR less stupid to vote for someone you think is a Vampire, which is what you are supposed to be doing.

How come no one has addressed the fact that the NK'd psychic-claiming Two has cleared strager and Chris? It seems odd to me that there are people still discussing voting for Chris when a dead, quite-likely psychic says he's human.

Now I do realize that Two wouldn't be able to scan twice so it's likely that one of them was cleared by other means (of, admittedly, unknown validity), but there still is a decent chance he was cleared by Psychic investigation. It would be kind of nice if Two could shed some light on the whole situation, but I don't know where his mind is at (I never do).

What are everyone else's thoughts on this?

Right. Reread the thread like three-four times, along with the logs. Posting to offer my view at the situation :D

Starting off, I don't think Two would have any reason at all to lie about him being a psychic and strager and chris's human status. Provided that it is very, very unlikely for the wolves to sacrifice a wolf Two on the first night, Two is most definitely a human and a psychic, which pretty much clears strager. As for Chris, I have no idea what methods Two used to claim Chris's humanity (see Ivalsetto's claim that Two scanned strager), but I brush it aside for now as there are more important matters at hand.

Which brings me to...DxS.

LadySuburu has already posted what I wanted to say, but seriously, DxS is three times as more suspicious as NoHItter was in last WWG. For those who don't understand, that's quite a high level of suspiciousness. Instantly going all-out to lynch someone for no solid reason on day 1 might be eyebrow-raising but understandable. Trying the same thing again without additional evidence is definitely suspicious. What's even more suspicious is that he changes his vote to Blackthorne so easily. His pathetic excuse for a reason (I think it had something to do with Blackthorne not following the majority) only tells me that he is eager to jump on any bandwagon that flies atm.

i.e. the classic behavior of a wolf.

Read Chris's log with Blackthorne, and I gotta admit, Blackthorne is acting quite differently from the last WWG, where he was a civ (were you? I'm not 100% sure) However, nothing too suspicious yet.

Didn't even bother to read the log accusing wojjan. Apologies to Ival who provided the log, but I'm just too lazy to read a log that long.

So,

Vote : DxS until anything new comes up. I'd love to see DxS actually make a defense for himself, since he hasn't done that in this game yet.

So I went and took a timetrip in the fora, and looked up the player/wolf ratio for all of Ace's games:
WWG4: 19 players, 7 wolves. 7/19*100 = 36,84%
WWG3: 22 players, 8 wolves. 8/22*100 = 36,36%
WWG2: 26 players, 8 wolves. 8/26*100 = 30,77%
WWG1: 14 players, 5 wolves. 5/14*100 = 35,71%

Average = 34,92% ⋍ 35%
WWG5: 25 players, X wolves. X/25*100 ⋍35% => X=8,73
Assuming Ace keeps a steady ratio (which he does more or less), there are 8 or 9 wolves in this game. Since in a game with 26 players (WWG3) he previously used 8 wolves, I'm inclined to believe 8 again.

So here is my suspicion list of all living players, assuming we have not yet killed a wolf. The confirmed humans are based on Two's information he sent me as of Night 1. I filtered out intuition and the facts, and was left with this.

Obviously, these aren't my final eight, and this list isn't set in stone, as we're only Day 2.
The top eight in this list would, according to my logic, at least, be the wolves (with the exempt from Chris and DJBlackthorne, I'll explain that when I get there.). Following is some elaboration on these eight, as to why exactly they scored so high:

DeathxShinigami: He has only been voting for those who already have votes, and seems to rush the game towards night phase. Quite strange, if you ask me, for a civvie to do.

Todesengal: Although hanging in IRC often, I haven't seen any actual contributing from her side, although she usually does, based on previous games.

I_Tatsuo_I: In addition to the argument I gave for Tode, (bar the experience from previous games), he seems to actually be able to contribute, but only did so when asked.

nardi11011: Has he even been around to drop off his opinion? I'm used to way more participation on his side, whih even led to him making an alternate account. Why did he suddenly fall mute?

Rolled: He has been making some small slip-ups I wouldn't expect from an experienced player. That callout on Tode's comment was odd, because I honestly don't think he wouldn't know the word 'succint'. And, quoth DiamondCrash:

Chris: He has been picking on Blackthorne in that one post with the logs, and with very poor arguments to boot.

0_o: Now, this is a different story. Everyone seems to suspect DeathxShinigami because of his constant will to off matthew. However, Day 1 and Day 2 he has only voted me, with arguments one can easily pull a reversal on. The first day, indeed, I took the votes too serious. But it did lead to some more or less decent discussion instead of a non-stop RVS. I'm not saying I suspect him on that, he did well to call me out at that point. But on Day 2, he still votes for me, with that IRC log as evidence, so to speak. However, that IRC logs tells of me not believing Two was the psychic - I do now, by the way, since that talk. - and my strategy for playing wolf being different from him regarding killing a wolf at night.

DJBlackthorne: I know listing him an Chris both as wolves takes away the credibility of my theory, but since this is only a suspicion list, and not a list of "these guys are wolves!", please bear with me. Blackthorne has been in IRC with Chris who was barraging him with accusations that didn't really make sense. However, Blackthorne immedately became defensive on the matter, and tried to counter his logic with whatever he could, hoping to drive suspicion away from him. He is just trying too hard to counter all arguments to still remain believable.

I've just not really been that motivated to actually form an opinion after the last game failed (and I think being a wolf is more fun). As far as suspicion goes, most people haven't really acted suspicious enough for me to consider a vote or I've found their suspicious actions to be explained better by something else than being a wolf. One who does stick out for me is DxS; he seems a bit like a newbie (has he played before?) wolf with his short posts with little reasoning, trying to look like he's thought stuff out but in reality just voting on whoever has been voted on already on is likely to be voted on more. His lack of a defense seems weird as well, though now that I think about it that could go either way. Anyway, I guess I'll vote for him since I don't really have anyone else I'm just as suspicious of.

@Wojjan: I realize my voting for you seems odd when there are several more popular votes right now, but I think the reason that I find you the most suspicious is because I've found you suspicious for the longest. The idea of "Wojjan is a vampire" has had the most time to settle in my head compared to anyone else. So I admit there is a bias here, but that's just where my head is at.

I'll probably be switching my vote to one of the more likely candidates for a lynch once I read through everything again.

Hmm... even with matthew being an inexperienced player, I'd say that the vampires would be telling him how to post without looking suspicious. I suppose for now I'll lay off my suspicions (for now), but insist that he posts more (and with more detail than "they look suspicious").

Also, I nearly typed a disclaimer for my previous post twice. I SEE I SHOULDA SUBMITTED IT. People, people. I confirmed NOTHING in that post. I thought I made it pretty damn clear that it was the LOGIC I was pointing out flaws in, ASSUMING Derekku was Human.

I started typing when i read the first post, hit enter, then looked at the screen. As for the content of those four lines, i was pretty ticked when my first WWG ended on the second day for such an unnecessarily stupid reason.

well. things are getting more complicated. sorry for the late post, but my ''d'' key is not functional (the contact still works, but the membrane is shot), so i tried to repair it by taking the membrane from my start menu key using directions i found online. this did not solve my problem, and in addition, this attempt also ended up killing the apparently rather small circuit my start menu key evidently shared with my shift keys. i was, and still am, solving my d problem by copypasta'ing, but i won't be solving my shift key problem as easily. i think it's time to go buy a usb keyboard. -insert ugh smiley here since shift keys don't work to make a colon-

Hi everyone ^_______^

Since I'm alive again, I'd like to elaborate on what I said in irc about it being likely that Rolled is a wolf.

Let's start with our 3 way msn conversation (Chris, Rolled, me). Rolled proposed that, to stop the random votes/get people to talk (I forget which if it's not both), the three of us all vote for someone within 1 second of each other. Chris said okay, but only if he got to pick who. Chris chose whoatefred, I forget what his reason was but we didn't argue and all voted for him.

Here is why that makes Rolled likely to be a wolf:

1. If Chris named a wolf, I believe he would either have given a bs reason to not vote for them or he would have changed his vote before the end of day 1, despite his computer problems (as they were easily circumvented via ps3).

2. What does a wolf want to do day 1? Inflate human vote numbers without leaving a wolf trail. What better way to do that than by manipulating humans into voting?

3. Even though it was supposed to be a fake/joke vote, he never changed his vote off of whoatefred, when he did have the ability to do so.

Then there is the hugely incriminating fact that I died night 1:

1. As you saw on the wolf forum last game, Rolled is bad at picking night targets that benefit wolves long-term. He initially wanted me to die night 1 that game, and then when it became obvious that NoHitter was the insomniac, wanted me dead night 2. Why did my death not benefit wolves long-term this game? Because, like last game, it made no sense to night kill someone who could so easily be lynched; they wasted their night kill. I intentionally said things that were beyond what I normally would say in hopes that the wolves would keep me alive.

Then there is the fact that I was the psychic. You would think, why is this bad for the wolves long-term? Kill the psychic fast and he will scan less people. That's true, but by killing me you enabled me to confirm a small group of humans extremely early in the game (wojjan, chris, strager, matthewtck), increasing the odds of lynching a wolf.

2. I was the psychic. In msn I refused to roleclaim to both Rolled and Chris, which I have never done before. Chris was suspicious of this but Rolled said that it made sense since they both were wolves last game. I don't buy this for a second. I think it's very likely that he thought I was an aux and sniffed me/had me sniffed. Once the wolves knew I was the psychic, it made no sense for them to not kill me.

Finally, on day 2, after I had posted numerous times about why wojjan and matthewtck couldn't be wolves, Rolled voted for matthewtck. Not only did he vote for him, but he never once commented on my reasoning, despite definitely having read it. This is because by commenting on it, he would be bringing it to everyone's attention again. If no one talks about it, it basically gets swept under the rug.

So, since I have another scan as I die tonight, I would like to reduce the chance of wasting it on a human. If you are the priest who resurrected me, or the coroner who knows for sure that I am the psychic, please PM me. I can also act as your proxy today and give the information on who died, since I am going to die anyway. I can understand the priest's reservations about revealing who they are if they choose not to, but you did have enough faith in me to use your one resurrection, so it would be wonderful if you did.

-Todesengal. She tried to stop people from killing other people, which you need to do to figure out who is who. Also, she hasn't contributed that much.

-Wojjan and 0_o: I'm getting bad vibes of sorts from the both of them. Plus, they both tried to kill someone on Day 1, making up semi-valid reasons when there really wasn't that much evidence, perhaps trying to get innocent people killed off.

-DJ KRZY: Doesn't seem to be contributing that much, and overall just seems suspicious for some reason.

-adam2046, nardi1011, I_Tatsuo_I, dkun, and Zerostarry. I'd say that at least one of these is a Wolf, since they all seem to be semi-blending in while not being too active (and Zerostarry just made one post with only his vote and left). It just seems like they're staying under the radar, though I suppose it's just those bad vibes again and there doesn't seem to be any hard evidence against them.

As such, I vote Rolled.

I said the thing about the DxS because, based on our conversation, it seemed to me like he was a wolf trying to cause chaos. I was trying to say "hey guys, I think we hit a wolf."

Also, DxS said that he was the coroner publicly in IRC shortly before he was lynched:

I see several things wrong here.
-You think we are suspicious because we find a semi-valid reason to vote for someone? Semi-valid is pretty much as good as it gets on Day 1 without aux powers to back anyone up. Even on Day 2 there wasn't that much to go on.
-It seems strange to me that you find Wojjan and I suspicious for the same reasons when I've been gunning for Wojjan this entire time. You can pretty much bet that both of us aren't wolves.
-If you find Wojjan suspicious, why is it suspicious of me to vote for him?

Rolled has been acting very very strange this game, and if it is that blatant to the untrained eye of a newbie - no offense - it must mean something's up. I've recently read through WWG4 (mostly to get a handle on Blackthorne) and what Two said is true, there is a repeating pattern in both roles and strategies.

As for the slew of Miss Vampire 2010 nominations in the second part I quoted: There are enough people not acting at all, even when confronted with the heap of evidence about. Especially nardi and Zerostarry strike me as odd. nardi I've already covered in a previous post somewhere in Day 2, and zerostarry indeed has only made one post, while always being on IRC when I arrive. There's enough going down to cast a vote, and set up an entire suspicion list already, why are you all not acting?

However pieguy, if you want to stay safe, it's best not to post garbage reasoning like that against Tode again. It seems as though you're incrimating someone against all odds wink wink nudge nudge faceman.

So, since I have another scan as I die tonight, I would like to reduce the chance of wasting it on a human. If you are the priest who resurrected me, or the coroner who knows for sure that I am the psychic, please PM me. I can also act as your proxy today and give the information on who died, since I am going to die anyway. I can understand the priest's reservations about revealing who they are if they choose not to, but you did have enough faith in me to use your one resurrection, so it would be wonderful if you did.

Again, I don't believe that Two is the psychic. I know I'm going off on a limb here, but suppose for a moment that Two is a wolf/vampire.

*Wolves kill one of their own (Two) on night 1 (something that hasn't been done before, but is VERY possible and getting more and more likely every game)
*Two claims psychic and magically confirms multiple people (i.e., his wolf buddies)
*Priest believes that Two is pro-town and revives him to get more names
*Two leads everyone off a cliff by making them vote for whoever he wants them to. (Yes, Two is sometimes like this, but I think that this is getting a bit out of hand)
*Even if Two gets killed again on night 3, that still wouldn't prove that he's pro-town since the wolves would be getting their kills from Two's hit list.

If this is really true, then think how easily the wolves will win. I believed for a while that Two was the psychic, but getting everyone to vote under his command, trying to coax me via PM with a list of confirmed humans, etc. is really making me believe otherwise.

I'd vote for Two right now, but since he should be getting NK'd tonight, our lynch vote would be better on someone else. (i.e., scum)

I have also considered the possibility that Two is a vampire, but here's the thing: nobody has counterclaimed Psychic. Two is probably the most trusted player in the game right now - if he's not the Psychic then the real one certainly would have spoke up by now.

Possible, or there could be no psychic at all (though that's unlikely in a big game like this). Also, what if there are two psychics? (I can't remember if A<3 said if that was possible or not though)

Again, this is just all speculation, and the main reason I'm bringing it up is due to Two's near-scummy way of getting people to vote.

If you think he isn't Psychic, why would you assume he's going to be NK'd? You know that's WIFOM.

You also imply in that statement that Two is not scum, even though most of the rest of your post is trying to support the idea that Two is perhaps scum. Freudian slip which I'll follow with a vote.

Derek darling, let's continue the logic if Two would indeed be a Vampire. Two goes ahead and clears multiple people that are also vampires. That makes 5 by now: Two, whoatefred, strager, me, and Chris. For the sake of being consistent I'm assuming there are eight in total. At the end of day one, whoatefred got lnched. That means there are seven wolves left in the game. Come Night one, the wolves off their own member, Two. And then there were six. On Day Two, DxS more or less claims coroner and more or less says Two was Psychic and whoatefred was human. This goes against the theory, so DxS must also be a wolf. we have six known wolves, three of them dead right now. That leaves 5. Then Night Two, Two gets revived by the Priest, bringing the wolf count back to six. Do you think the wolves would kill Two tonight, again reducing their own numbers and killing off their most valuably positioned player? And then I didn't even mention the fact that, if the actual psychic (if any) would investigate ANY OF THIS LIST AT ALL, or if the actual coroner got info on Two, whoatefred and DxS and sees they are ALL WOLVES, the entire list Two pointed out as being human becomes a list of known wolves, thereby revealing 6 out of my pictured 8 wolves. Wouldn't that be a silly move?
If you stilll believe Two is indeed a wolf, and think the loss of potentially the only role left that can deduce other people's role, then go ahead and vote for him, since your reasoning he will get NK'ed is terribly flawed.
