Thoughts before modding: In my opinion, there are many spots where there could be added notes without increasing difficulty. Some parts just seem very lackluster where there is potential for placement notes. That is intentional, but let's see what you've got

00:07:788 (7788|5) - move to 6 to keep pattern similar to the previous one here 00:04:788 (4788|1,5121|5) - which has the same sound. I prefer doing diffrent patterns so it's more varied and fun

00:13:455 (13455|3) - maybe consider turning this into a triple (?) col 3|4|5 because of the downbeat emphasis I might turn it into a double, but I feel like it doesn't need any more emphasis as it is the intro still and layering is kinda soft. Not going to use a triple in any setup though

It's... hard to actually fit the actual pitch here and I don't want to change any of the earlier or later patterns. 03:30:038 - also you gotta decide whether you want this to start on the beat or slightly below it cus that's not consistent either ^
03:30:788 (210788|2) - you could make this end a 1/4 early to match all the other LNs in this part decided to do the opposite, after all, if i didn't it would be inconsistent with the other difficulties wink, made all the other LNs end a 1/4 later

This map seems to break every mapping convention that the mania community has developed. I mean look at this thing on Insane:

It looks like an amoeba. Or like a cat threw up, walked a couple steps, and threw up again. The odd spacing makes it hard to follow the rhythm, both hands have to awkwardly come in on a 1/2 or 1/4 snap, and there's no visual pattern. that was actually a victim of porting some patterns from unconscious and removing/moving some notes haha, i thought about changing it but i just went "can't be that bad" at the time, changed it to something more linear but still tricky.

But even though these things are usually the hallmark of an inexperienced mania mapper, spoon definitely knows what he's doing. He ignores the "meta" not because he hasn't figured it out, but because he has his own way of creating nuance through anchors, laning, pitch, etc. The result is chord jacks, brackets, and other interesting finger contortions that you can't find elsewhere. I can say what I want about cat vomit, but spoon's style has persevered through a deluge of mainstream mapping to provide some desperately-needed variety in the pool of ranked maps. that was a fun read
