[General]
[Akesato]
- Background quality: The currently background lacks of quality which looks like enlarged from a small size of image, may consider to replace another background with a higher quality, however, if you want to use the same background, use this instead, the current one with 1365x768 pixels against the dimension of 16:9.
- Metadata issues: I tried to search from for the metadata, and I found the artist is Akesato but not こぬこ Konuko, what the information tells that Konuko is the one who tuned the vocal but not singer, you can find others to have a check in the metadata as well since this one may not be 100% correct
Artist: 緋惺
Romanised: Akesato - Difficulty name: If you have confirmed the metadata, change the difficulty name as well, it is nonsence to have Artist for diff name, try to use other words which is more related to the song
- Over usage in soft-hitclap: Since the clap sound is loud, I am not suggest you to use clap in triplets or streams like 00:40:756 (1,2,3,4,5,6) or 01:17:256 (8,9,1,2,3), you can add clap in every some beat to build up the clap pattern in the whole map
- Overmapping in part of the music: I will explain in the following mods
[Akesato]
- 00:03:422 (5,1) - Compared to 00:02:422 (3,4,5), 00:03:422 (5,1) have 1/1 gap in time line while 00:02:422 (3,4,5) have 1/2, so their distance among 00:02:922 (4,5,1) should not be same, placing with same spacing will mislead players hitting 00:04:089 (1) ealier than it does like the previous sliders containing 1/2 gap, so you have to increase the spacing, there are more same patterns need to be fixed like 00:08:756 (5,1), 00:14:089 (5,1)
- 00:18:756 - A higher pitch or whistle/bell sound starts, It need to be emphasized instead of placing slider end which is softer than either a slider head or a note, try this pattern, with a note at 00:18:422 followed by two 1/1 sliders 00:18:756 (4,5), which match with matches more with the rhythm of the music
- 00:21:756 (3,4,5,6,7) , 00:22:256 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Reduce the spacing in this stream, the piano music here is softer than the second intro starting at 00:22:756, which should not have the same spacing in streams like 00:23:339 (3,4,5,6) in this two parts. Moreover, I do not suggest stream patterns of 00:22:256 (1,2,3,4,5,6), that is hard to read when placing the first note of stream at centre, a straight or curve streams will be fine in this case
- 00:23:089 (2,3) - Increase the spacing here to map a jump as you did in other similar parts like 00:25:756 (2,3), 00:28:422 (2,3)
- 00:25:756 (2,3,4,5,6) - A sharp turn isn't needed when the music is not that strong, thus 00:25:756 (2) and 00:26:006 (3,4,5,6) are both curving down, after moving downward from 00:25:756 (2), then we need to move up immediately and then hit the stream with another downward movement again, it breaks the flow of the vertical movement
- 00:27:756 (7,8) - This jump across both side of the screen is kinda overmapping, a big distance jump with back and forth in does not match with the music, also the overlapping in 00:27:339 (3,7) looks untidy to play with, I would suggest to decrease the distance between 00:27:756 (7,8) so it will make sense and more related to the music
- 00:28:422 (2,3,4,5,6) - Another untidy stacking in 00:28:422 (2,4) which affect readability
- 00:30:756 (1,2,3) - Increase the distance here, it would definitely mislead players to read it as a spaced triplet when It the difference between this another streams is that small that having different gaps
- 00:32:589 (3,4,1) - Stack it properly when it is only differ 1 grid or even smaller
- 00:35:422 (4,5,6,7) - Reverse the direction in 00:35:672 (6,7), it is difficult to hit 00:35:922 (8) after playing two doubles which point in the same direction
- 00:38:422 (4) - NC it here since vocal and stream starts
- 00:47:089 (2,3) - Same problem as 00:35:422 (4,5,6,7), the overlapping here looks untidy as well, increase the spacing after reverse the direction 00:47:339 (3)
- 00:51:089 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Having two angular jump is not a good idea, it breaks flow when 00:51:422 (3,4,5,6,7,8) is pointing to opposite direction
- 00:54:589 (8,1) - Spacing is too low here when it compared with 00:49:256 (9,1), 00:43:922 (8,1) they are all the place that new vocal starts, so increase it for consistence
- 00:57:672 (2) - Same as 00:47:089 (2,3)
- 00:59:922 (8) - NC here instead of 01:00:422 (1) as new vocal starts
- 01:13:089 (5) - NC here as there is changes in slider velocity
- 01:32:089 (1) - This overlapping looks weird, may consider to add a jump because a new vocal starts
- 01:34:089 (3,4,5,6) - Yea you mapped i correctly with 1/6, however, 1/6 have a less denser rhythm than 1/4, so the distance should be larger than those 1/4 streams
- 01:44:756 (6,7) - Another untidy overlapping, stack it will be fine
- 01:51:422 (3,4) - 1/2 gap here so increase the distance
- 01:55:589 (4) - Reverse is hided under 01:55:339 (2), which is against the ranking criteria
- 02:07:089 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - Overmapping, I don't see a reason why it needs that high spacing here
- 02:14:089 (1,1) - It looks weird when you curve both slider on left side, I would suggest curving 02:14:756 (1) to the right which looks more neat
- 02:19:089 (5,6) - This two sliders look great but the following objects breaks the flow, since 02:19:256 (6) is moving up, it is better for you to place further object above it instead of below, which gives out a smoother flow instead
- 02:36:089 (1,2) - This jump is too sharp when they are facing opposite direction, players may not react well in this pattern after moving cursor to the right and then move back to left immediately to continue to play the map
- 02:57:006 (5) - Why pointing downward? Point to left instead so that the flow won't breaker and players can play it smoothly
- 02:58:922 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Another section which is seriously overmapped, there is no vocal and the background music is very soft which don't need that big jump when hitting bunch of 1/4 sliders, reduce the spacing in order to match with the music, the flow is not working well also in 02:59:756 (6,1) after hitting 1/4 sliders chain
- 03:00:672 (10) - Remove NC, there is nothing special which suitable for a new combo
- 03:08:589 (3) - Try to place it around x:318 y:125, the vocal is soft and a big jump is not required
- 03:20:756 (5,7) - nazi, but remove the overlap here to make it more tidy
- 03:23:422 (5,6,7) - A constant spacing here is enough since players may not be able to hit it after constant 1/2 notes in 03:22:756 (1,2,3,4,5), so a jump is not needed
- 03:30:756 - I think a break is better than placing note from 03:30:756 to 03:36:089 for players to have a short rest
- 03:57:422 (1) - Curve down this slider instead, since you already curved up streams 03:57:089 (1,2,3,4), it is better to curve it down for a smoother flow
- 04:11:756 (7,8) - Remove from overlapping 04:11:339 (3,4,5,6), the readability is pretty low here when it overlaps with streams, rhythm is hard to predict as well after hitting the streams and need to catch up notes that are overlapped
- 04:31:756 (1) - Reversion the direction, vocal is not strong enough for a sharp turn between 04:31:589 (6,1) and 04:31:756 (1,2)
- 04:40:422 (2,3) - Same as 00:23:089 (2,3), so on in this part
Overall i think most of the rhythm works well, but patterns can be improved to be more better
Good luck~!
