Hi M4M from my queue c:

- I think the offset should be at 00:01:413 (you can have an inherited point and a timing point on the same tick as long as you only use it to change slider velocity)
- 20% volume is too low, raise it to at least 25% (Might even be unrankable to have it lower)
- Be more consistent with NCs, there are a lot of places where you use NCs just for patterns. Generally, they go every downbeat (big white tick) but in this map there are some parts where they don't fit there. Consider removing some NCs in places where they happen too often
00:32:746 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5) - There are too many jumps in this part, consider changing some notes to sliders. I know jumps are fun and challenging but when you have too many it becomes really frustrating for the player.
00:40:413 (5) - This note is too close to 00:40:079 (4) and is not blanketed properly. Consider moving it or fixing the blanket at least
00:41:746 (2) - This note is touching the previous slider, move it to the right to prevent an overlap
00:43:079 (2) - ^
00:45:746 (1) - Move this further away from 00:45:413 (8)

hey, you posted in my form thing about timing.

the stuff at the end is just vocals, which aren't stable in the same way as other instruments would be. in the current case though, a single 140bpm line (or 70 if people complain about doublebpm) is acceptable

as a whole, timing would look like this (first offset was early and second was late)


it's common for timing points to line up with each other in electronically mastered songs, which is what's happening here. TheKoala also had the right idea of moving the offset forward since each downbeat (large white tick) is currently 2 beats off

00:22:246 (1,2,3,4,5) - I really like the look of this pattern, Thumbs up for that!

00:49:413 (1,2) - Having these two sliders seems a bit unnecessary, try removing (2) and extending (1) to end where (2) did

it's common for timing points to line up with each other in electronically mastered songs, which is what's happening here. TheKoala also had the right idea of moving the offset forward since each downbeat (large white tick) is currently 2 beats off

Background quality: The currently background lacks of quality which looks like enlarged from a small size of image, may consider to replace another background with a higher quality, however, if you want to use the same background, use this instead, the current one with 1365x768 pixels against the dimension of 16:9.
  2. Metadata issues: I tried to search from for the metadata, and I found the artist is Akesato but not こぬこ Konuko, what the information tells that Konuko is the one who tuned the vocal but not singer, you can find others to have a check in the metadata as well since this one may not be 100% correct

  3. Difficulty name: If you have confirmed the metadata, change the difficulty name as well, it is nonsence to have Artist for diff name, try to use other words which is more related to the song
  4. Over usage in soft-hitclap: Since the clap sound is loud, I am not suggest you to use clap in triplets or streams like 00:40:756 (1,2,3,4,5,6) or 01:17:256 (8,9,1,2,3), you can add clap in every some beat to build up the clap pattern in the whole map
  5. Overmapping in part of the music: I will explain in the following mods

  1. 00:03:422 (5,1) - Compared to 00:02:422 (3,4,5), 00:03:422 (5,1) have 1/1 gap in time line while 00:02:422 (3,4,5) have 1/2, so their distance among 00:02:922 (4,5,1) should not be same, placing with same spacing will mislead players hitting 00:04:089 (1) ealier than it does like the previous sliders containing 1/2 gap, so you have to increase the spacing, there are more same patterns need to be fixed like 00:08:756 (5,1), 00:14:089 (5,1)

  2. 00:18:756 - A higher pitch or whistle/bell sound starts, It need to be emphasized instead of placing slider end which is softer than either a slider head or a note, try this pattern, with a note at 00:18:422 followed by two 1/1 sliders 00:18:756 (4,5), which match with matches more with the rhythm of the music


  3. 00:21:756 (3,4,5,6,7) , 00:22:256 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Reduce the spacing in this stream, the piano music here is softer than the second intro starting at 00:22:756, which should not have the same spacing in streams like 00:23:339 (3,4,5,6) in this two parts. Moreover, I do not suggest stream patterns of 00:22:256 (1,2,3,4,5,6), that is hard to read when placing the first note of stream at centre, a straight or curve streams will be fine in this case

  4. 00:23:089 (2,3) - Increase the spacing here to map a jump as you did in other similar parts like 00:25:756 (2,3), 00:28:422 (2,3)

  5. 00:25:756 (2,3,4,5,6) - A sharp turn isn't needed when the music is not that strong, thus 00:25:756 (2) and 00:26:006 (3,4,5,6) are both curving down, after moving downward from 00:25:756 (2), then we need to move up immediately and then hit the stream with another downward movement again, it breaks the flow of the vertical movement

  6. 00:27:756 (7,8) - This jump across both side of the screen is kinda overmapping, a big distance jump with back and forth in does not match with the music, also the overlapping in 00:27:339 (3,7) looks untidy to play with, I would suggest to decrease the distance between 00:27:756 (7,8) so it will make sense and more related to the music

  7. 00:28:422 (2,3,4,5,6) - Another untidy stacking in 00:28:422 (2,4) which affect readability

  8. 00:30:756 (1,2,3) - Increase the distance here, it would definitely mislead players to read it as a spaced triplet when It the difference between this another streams is that small that having different gaps

  9. 00:32:589 (3,4,1) - Stack it properly when it is only differ 1 grid or even smaller

  10. 00:35:422 (4,5,6,7) - Reverse the direction in 00:35:672 (6,7), it is difficult to hit 00:35:922 (8) after playing two doubles which point in the same direction

  25. 02:19:089 (5,6) - This two sliders look great but the following objects breaks the flow, since 02:19:256 (6) is moving up, it is better for you to place further object above it instead of below, which gives out a smoother flow instead

  26. 02:36:089 (1,2) - This jump is too sharp when they are facing opposite direction, players may not react well in this pattern after moving cursor to the right and then move back to left immediately to continue to play the map

  27. 02:57:006 (5) - Why pointing downward? Point to left instead so that the flow won't breaker and players can play it smoothly

  28. 02:58:922 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Another section which is seriously overmapped, there is no vocal and the background music is very soft which don't need that big jump when hitting bunch of 1/4 sliders, reduce the spacing in order to match with the music, the flow is not working well also in 02:59:756 (6,1) after hitting 1/4 sliders chain

  29. 03:00:672 (10) - Remove NC, there is nothing special which suitable for a new combo

  30. 03:08:589 (3) - Try to place it around x:318 y:125, the vocal is soft and a big jump is not required

  31. 03:20:756 (5,7) - nazi, but remove the overlap here to make it more tidy

  32. 03:23:422 (5,6,7) - A constant spacing here is enough since players may not be able to hit it after constant 1/2 notes in 03:22:756 (1,2,3,4,5), so a jump is not needed

  33. 03:30:756 - I think a break is better than placing note from 03:30:756 to 03:36:089 for players to have a short rest

  34. 03:57:422 (1) - Curve down this slider instead, since you already curved up streams 03:57:089 (1,2,3,4), it is better to curve it down for a smoother flow

  35. 04:11:756 (7,8) - Remove from overlapping 04:11:339 (3,4,5,6), the readability is pretty low here when it overlaps with streams, rhythm is hard to predict as well after hitting the streams and need to catch up notes that are overlapped

Overall i think most of the rhythm works well, but patterns can be improved to be more better

  1. AR9.5 seems too high for this map. I think AR9.2 is enough.
  2. 00:01:423 - Why not use SC:2 in this section too? I think the soft-hitwhistle2 fits the downbeats well.
  3. 00:02:422 (3,4) - It will look better if you make them perfectly parallel by copying and pasting. Same for other similar parts.
  4. 00:14:089 (5,1) - These feel too close, and it's awkward to play. Try to space them out a bit more like 00:08:756 (5,1)
  5. 00:19:422 (5,1) - The stack doesn't fit well here in my opinion. I think it'd be better if you did a direction change like this: http://puu.sh/i90Dt/0ad282c335.jpg
  6. 00:22:256 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - This is confusing to read. I recommend that you try a different pattern. If you keep this pattern, please at least make the pentagon more equal, either by using the polygon tool, or by using 72/108 degree rotations.
  7. 00:22:672 (6) - This is overmapped. I recommend removing it, because there is no sound in the song here.
  8. 00:26:422 (7,8) - Distance here is relatively small, and it feels awkward to play because of the large jump between (6,7).

  10. 00:31:589 (7,8) - Distance feels too small here.
  11. 00:32:589 (3,4,1) - Let it stack naturally.
  12. 00:38:756 (1,2) - Try to make a more even blanket. That is, make the edge of (2) equidistant from the end of (1) all the way around. It will look better. The same applies to all blankets in the map. Try to make it look as clean as possible.
  13. 00:42:756 (1,2,3,4,5) - The variation in spacing is very confusing. There's a massive jump between (1,2), but (2,3) is overlapped, even though they are the same beat spacing. Try to make it more intuitive to play.

Recurring problems i'm seeing are
1. You need to take into account Emphasis more in your mapping. That means, asking yourself why you're putting a jump from a note to another. Your answer should be that you are emphasizing that note in some way (otherwise, why use a larger spacing?) but you need to make sure the note you're emphasizing is actually a strong beat, or something that the vocals or instruments/drums are emphasizing.

2. Re-evaluate the playability of some of your patterns,. Especially those with extensive overlaps. Try and get testplays from other people, because you probably already know how to play your patterns.
