Im very happy to help you !! But you need repose and after make exercices ALL days for better results !! = )B1rd wrote:
I got RSI, then I just took a break and did pull ups and wrist exercises and it got better.
Not doing any of these things would make me not able to play osu.[ Momiji ] wrote:

The pressure of the carpal tunnel is at its lowest when a neutral position of the wrist is maintained. Avoid prolonged wrist flexion or extension.

Do you consciously practice good ergonomics?silmarilen wrote:

The easiest way to prevent RSI is by not playing through pain, and instead resting.

I wonder how many RSI's are self-diagnosed.
But it's pretty easy to 'diagnose', since the symptoms are usually simple.Wikipedia wrote:
Umbrella term
not even, but i usually do a warmup (starting on slow songs and not instantly going 200+ bpm) and i dont play for 10 hours in a row without break.zwoots wrote:

10h/day? What is life?Strategas wrote:
Maybe this should get stickied? It might help preventing people from getting injured.
My advice would be just to warmup properly and not do crazy 220 bpm stream 1st map. I played 10 h per day daily and never got anything, because I play comfortably.
my shoulder hurts,what should I do?Kheldragar wrote:

I've played to the point of being unable to grip my mouse/pen so many times now that I'm surprised they still work just fineKheldragar wrote:

Might be sad to say but I play this game at least 10+ hours everyday and all my body parts are still the same as they were when I started.
Someone call an ambulance, I think I'm going to die soon.
if you feel pain during/afterwards, DON'T PLAY THE BLOODY GAME.Kheldragar wrote:

Nice hands. I think the RSI makes them look sweeter and more fragile.ZenithPhantasm wrote:

Good thing I found out that my hands should serve me in life more than just osu! spinners LOL...
Actually when my fingers are tired they are not painful. Even no signs of pain for my two hands. It just turns out that my fingers are too "lazy" to move so I can't stream properly and powerfully (I have strong fingers) because I am a proSaphirshroom wrote:

On a sidenote, it largely depends on where you feel the pain. If you're too weak for streaming it almost certainly means your underarm muscles are exhausted which is perfectly fine because muscles regenerate quickly and get stronger over time.
When you feel pain in your carpal tunnel or finger tendons you should stop immediately. Playing in spite of that kind of pain is outright fucking stupid.
Tell us about the RSI.ZenithPhantasm wrote:
