Quick little announcement, I made the tournament dates more clear and I have also cleared up some things.
There will be a seperate weekend for the grand finals, so there will be 6 weekends instead of 5, due to the format. The loser of winners and winner of losers will fight to see who gets the last place in GF on sunday, more than likely.
I have put most of these rules and info in the special rules and the map pool instructions.

It will be about the same as LMS 1 but half a star higher for every pool, I suppose. Just an estimate. We don't know too well, the pool is constantly changingikin5050 wrote:

I've added a lot of stuff to the OP, but there is some things I'd like to mention.
There have been some special cases with countries wanting to be represented with more than 2 teams. We will respect this, but as the tournament registration progresses, there will be regulations put into place to make sure some countries may not be over-represented in the knock-out stages.
I would really suggest to NOT make C teams, but again, we have not told anyone we wouldn't allow this. Basically, you have just gone over our expectations, which is a good thing, but be sure that if you are one of the countries who is being represented with more than 2 teams, you might have to fight to get your spot!
So yeah, that's the small announcement, I will still encourage countries to rather come up with a solid A and B team so that we can avoid this. Thanks everyone

By the way, in case any of you are wondering, I'm actually kinda hyped for this myself (well, why wouldn't I be seeing as how I'm running this alongside Backfire and agu). But, this is a special hype, one that makes me feel like I'm doing something good for the community. Hopefully you guys get to see the fruits of Backfire's, agu's and my efforts.

I want to give a big thanks to so many of the teams that have signed up in the past week. It really means a lot. We are only 2 teams away from the minimum of being able to officially start, however, I would love to get much more! Lets shoot for 32 teams

We decided on not doing that, but rather approaching players themselves to prepare teams. There is still room to make a USA B team if you would like to participate. PM me and I can probably find you some teammates who want to play.the_robot wrote:

Should one country ascend to Ro16 with three teams they will face each other, kicking one of the teams out of the tournament. The team that placed #17 in Group Stage (by statistics) ascends in the position of the kicked team. These matches will be held on the same weekend as Group Stage matches.
Also, we will do the mappool showcase for Group Stage next Saturday, aka May 2nd at 6 AM UTC. Here we will showcase the maps played during the Group Stage and we hope many of you will join us!

Hi everyone, apologies for the delay on adding teams. I am not ignoring your pms, I am actually out of town for my Brothers Wedding, thus, I have no access to my at home computer. And as luck would have it that is the only place where I can edit the document.

I looked at the live stream and seems Taiwan A is in the group E and Taiwan B is in group H, but the team in image was reversed. I don't know which one is correct

6.4: Scheduling will be handled by the Tournament Management. Schedules and map-pools will be released on the Sunday before the first matches of the actual stage. The Tournament Management will try to create the schedule to respect the participant's time zone.'v'
