"This score doesn't look right" Thread

1) http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5839 and http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5838 show different scores, but since replays can be buggy as i read on IRC then

2) He got an A with no mods, but someone (basically #5) got SS with all hard mods and still couldnt surpass it.

3)Even auto-play cant make that score with no mods

Not suggesting that it may be a hacker, but this score for sure doesnt look right

Can't really prove anything but I can tell you that nobody comes into osu THAT good, it's either a cheater or a multi, but I can't imagine anybody good enough to place those scores who would even bother using a multi to do that since most people can only dream of even fcing some of these maps, let alone SS them.
Very fishy. For 3 weeks since the day I started osu!, I couldn't get an S on normal mode. Got better in time. Back to the situation, I suppose multi-accounting OR he plays a heap of unranked mods.

Probably, those are all pretty easy difficulties well except maybe that AKINO map due to timing issues. That's an hour by the way, not 20 minutes.

She's playing even not month with new acc and she has SS (with mods) on every map she played and... below 5-6 tries. Any normal newcomer wouldn't do this. Do we have any penalties for multi-accounters?

Uhm.
I know Andzia very well and I think it isn't her account, it's only her sister. I know lots of people they have multiaccounts and they still play osu!. spartianka and Kuro Miku - everybody thought that is one person but Kuro Miku is spartianka's sister :) So I don't think that kicia_ is Andzia's account.

Maybe, BUT:

1. Still I do not know any person that is new and could be doing SSes with mods (HR is ok... but DT?) in few plays. Isn't it weird?
2. Watch some of her replays on both accounts, in EVERY is "No Video" mod turned on. Even on maps that do not have video. She is the only person in osu! using this mod frequently that I know.
3. She spoke to me in #polish without even saying simple "Hi" like I might know her earlier. After that she said she meant other someone (o rly...) and logged of few minutes later.

Also, I'm not the only one who think that's exactly her 2nd account. Main question is (if it's true) - FOR WHAT?

"Her" playing on "your" account doesn't change the fact that she's new so it's highly unlikely that she'll be able to SS songs with those sorts of mods on.

For a while there I actually thought he was using rolling. Guess I was wrong, it was just Double Stroke. Ironically, Double Stroke is one of the fastest ways to press stuff and is kinda faster than using 2 fingers, actually.

#1 Score on Akai Tsuki [Hard] 81,398 with lower accuracy and less mods then places 4-5. doesnt seem like foul play at least, no spinner hax or anything, but possibly a problem on osu!'s side?? in the replay it shows his score in the 58k range after the last note where the extra 20+k comes from i am clueless

The #1 score on Akai Tsuki might be very old, before the new scoring algorithm came into play. Perhaps that's the reason why there's some unrealistic score gap.

Considering how long YOU've been playing Taiko, you don't need to macro to get #1. But that playcount guy getting loads of #1s only after 3 days he starts playing? That's damn suspicious.

I can understand why Glasslake is in the 2nd place, because he spins very well (around 460, and it's still possible), but TheGear... his spins are impossible. (square spins... is it possible?)

EDIT: Checked and it's not square... But still suspicious for me, considering TheGear is still lv18. Maybe nothing wrong though, because I can't see the Spin Per Minute to measure it's 477 or not (because it is in Flashlight), but I think it's better to check his replay.

I am not sure but looking on the replay of "OtakusHeart" (http://osu.ppy.sh/u/134971) on this map (http://osu.ppy.sh/b/45802) looks like that he was using a spinbot or something like that. At least i am not sure that a human can spin like that.

450+ RPM spins are possible, what's impossible if the RPM stays in 477 and won't reduce at all

Found someone named ravand... watch a replay of him and you will see what i mean: his "insane spinning technique" >.<
For example in:
SMILE.dk - Butterfly [Light] - #8
Trey Parker - Let's Fighting Love [Easy] - #1
Not that's it always 477 RPM but how he perfectly makes the same circles again and again

maybe not, but looking on the replay of "lightROCK"(http://osu.ppy.sh/u/312503) on this map looks like that he was using a spinbot or something like that

This guy is like a spin "OtakusHeart"
"OtakusHeart" has already deleted

high speed spin in the center of the screen possible? think spinbot if not impossible
because always how he perfectly makes the same circles again and again

Watch downe1209's replays in both [Easy] and [Normal]. That guy spins right in the middle in [Easy], and spins square in [Normal]. He definitely uses a spin bot.

Now, people who joined two days ago do not fc insanes with Flashlight

AND people who joined two days ago do not obtain #1s with such speed

I mean, seven in three hours? And you're suppsed to believe this guy joined two days ago?

Has got to be multi-accounting.

I think it would be difficult to code hook a hack that would efficiently hit every circle in an automated process, and if one person did such a thing I think it would be pretty obvious in replays and the such.

There are a few korean players that have enough skill to take rank 1s at a fast pace, the highest possibility would that they are multi-accounting.

There is only one Korean who is capable of this, and it's kkhpeople. Banned once, back for more.





To FC a song (insane, obviously) with Hidden + FL, you virtually have to memorize the whole map, which you clearly aren't going to do when you have just started the game three days ago, AND WITH A MAP THAT HAS JUST BEEN RANKED.

What we have here is multi-accounting at the least, and should be looked into.

This one is strange.
1. In his own replay he dosn't get the first place
2. The second place did FC with All mods, he did the same without FL.
3. Look at 6th and 7th place. The 6th did two 100s with HN+HR+DT, the 7th did SS with All mods and they have same score.
How? O_o

I dunno about the first one but the second and the third one could probably be explained by some mad spinning, whether legit or not.

I noticed lot of this before the taiko score reset.
I would FC and have 4 less notes in my combo than everyone on the top 6.

K yeah, I mean that is not humanly possible especially when the notes are played so evenly after 800 combo (since many other top taiko players have attempted and failed). Something doesn't smell right.
