"This score doesn't look right" Thread

Inozuma score shows that he/she ended with 183,022 score but in the replay shows a 166,392 score not to mention that he/she broke a slider and get a 398 combo.

how he/she ended in first place...? Hax or old spinner score?

This guy in first has a combo that's higher than the maximum possible combo on the scoreboard, and if you watch the replay he only got 80,000 or so points.

Yeah. He must use TaTaCon, and he is really pro drummer. Damnit, why! I think it's just kind of retarded speedhack. Even White Wolf can't press so fast.

i don't think so. if he is that pro a drummer i should see him a lot on the scoreboard, but in fact only Easy and Normal and some Hard, almost never insane. have a look at his historical statsitics, he had 971 tries on a not hard Insane and got an HD S,98%, not so good.
even Tatacon is kind of unbelievable, Kita Saitama 2000 is 223 BPM, and somebody did SS it (arcade), but never heard someone can SS a 340 BPM song, the difference is...yay...340 and 223, you all know what i mean.

the part from around 880 combo till 1080 shouldn't be possible to not miss. even with a tatacon. i mean, even if his hands were fast enough keeping it up for 200 notes is pretty unbelievable.

other players have attempted that map with no better than a B rank, seriously...

My brother (OhMyEggrolls) watched me play osu! one day with the mod "Relax" on. He said something very interesting. He said "If you can use relax like that, then maybe someone can hack it to use relax with scoring, therefore cheating." I said it's nearly impossible to hack osu! but he said "If I can think of it, I'm sure someone would do it.". Interesting, not?

Probably old replay from time before peppy did the slider adjustments.

I got a few replays like that too, spins too high in the replay thus not actually spinning it cause the positions are different.
(for me at least)

I don't know if it's a bugged replay or a bugged score but this map has a #1 that fails to confirm the score that's on the scoreboard (Taiko, Tasty)

I wasn't around to witness the first two, but his profile showed he did them both in 1-2 tries (well, one recorded score) and within about ~20 minutes of his last score.

The third however, I was watching him the entire time. He played this map for a good hour and couldn't FC it. He kept getting confused by overlapping circles and was missing random slider repeats.

Eventually I guess he got tired of trying that and played Bad Apple!! once and failed Necrofantasia once. He then started up http://osu.ppy.sh/s/12181 with Hidden + FL and FC'd it on the first try. He played it a 2nd time and didn't FC it because he missed like 1, but I got a replay saved of that anyway:

If you look at the map(s) in question, you'll see why it's EXTREMELY unlikely that he would do that on the first try (or 1000th try for that matter), especially after failing sakase sakase so badly.

Also side note: that immingrant guy seems suspicious too

That first map score was achieved very shortly after the map was ranked. There was no time to "practice a lot"

I suppose it could have been practice while it was unranked, but the map was changed quite a bit while in pending. I would know this because I PLAYED IT LIKE A MILLION TIMES FIXING THE TIMING :o

Can't really prove anything but I can tell you that nobody comes into osu THAT good, it's either a cheater or a multi, but I can't imagine anybody good enough to place those scores who would even bother using a multi to do that since most people can only dream of even fcing some of these maps, let alone SS them.

1) http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5839 and http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/5838 show different scores, but since replays can be buggy as i read on IRC then

2) He got an A with no mods, but someone (basically #5) got SS with all hard mods and still couldnt surpass it.

3)Even auto-play cant make that score with no mods

Not suggesting that it may be a hacker, but this score for sure doesnt look right

Very fishy. For 3 weeks since the day I started osu!, I couldn't get an S on normal mode. Got better in time. Back to the situation, I suppose multi-accounting OR he plays a heap of unranked mods.

There are selected people who spin 477, I've seen one with live with my own eyes once (the player was ExtreamGondola if anyone is interested in knowing)

Probably, those are all pretty easy difficulties well except maybe that AKINO map due to timing issues. That's an hour by the way, not 20 minutes.

She's playing even not month with new acc and she has SS (with mods) on every map she played and... below 5-6 tries. Any normal newcomer wouldn't do this. Do we have any penalties for multi-accounters?

I know Andzia very well and I think it isn't her account, it's only her sister. I know lots of people they have multiaccounts and they still play osu!. spartianka and Kuro Miku - everybody thought that is one person but Kuro Miku is spartianka's sister :) So I don't think that kicia_ is Andzia's account.

Maybe, BUT:

1. Still I do not know any person that is new and could be doing SSes with mods (HR is ok... but DT?) in few plays. Isn't it weird?
2. Watch some of her replays on both accounts, in EVERY is "No Video" mod turned on. Even on maps that do not have video. She is the only person in osu! using this mod frequently that I know.
3. She spoke to me in #polish without even saying simple "Hi" like I might know her earlier. After that she said she meant other someone (o rly...) and logged of few minutes later.

Also, I'm not the only one who think that's exactly her 2nd account. Main question is (if it's true) - FOR WHAT?

"Her" playing on "your" account doesn't change the fact that she's new so it's highly unlikely that she'll be able to SS songs with those sorts of mods on.

For a while there I actually thought he was using rolling. Guess I was wrong, it was just Double Stroke. Ironically, Double Stroke is one of the fastest ways to press stuff and is kinda faster than using 2 fingers, actually.

#1 Score on Akai Tsuki [Hard] 81,398 with lower accuracy and less mods then places 4-5. doesnt seem like foul play at least, no spinner hax or anything, but possibly a problem on osu!'s side?? in the replay it shows his score in the 58k range after the last note where the extra 20+k comes from i am clueless

The #1 score on Akai Tsuki might be very old, before the new scoring algorithm came into play. Perhaps that's the reason why there's some unrealistic score gap.

Considering how long YOU've been playing Taiko, you don't need to macro to get #1. But that playcount guy getting loads of #1s only after 3 days he starts playing? That's damn suspicious.

I can understand why Glasslake is in the 2nd place, because he spins very well (around 460, and it's still possible), but TheGear... his spins are impossible. (square spins... is it possible?)

EDIT: Checked and it's not square... But still suspicious for me, considering TheGear is still lv18. Maybe nothing wrong though, because I can't see the Spin Per Minute to measure it's 477 or not (because it is in Flashlight), but I think it's better to check his replay.

I am not sure but looking on the replay of "OtakusHeart" (http://osu.ppy.sh/u/134971) on this map (http://osu.ppy.sh/b/45802) looks like that he was using a spinbot or something like that. At least i am not sure that a human can spin like that.
