Hey, doing a M4M from your queue.
Post-mod Note
- I noted a lot of overlaps with sliders where either the head or tail is covered. I'm not sure if this is an intended mapping style, but my recommendation would be to avoid overlaps with the heads or tail of sliders so that readability is better. This is just my suggestion; if this is an intended mapping style, and you are adamant on keeping it, then you can ignore all of my comments on overlaps.
Easy
- 00:16:405 (2,1) - I think you could improve the flow here. Flow is kind of important for the easier difficulties. I understand the lack of flow in the previous combos if that's the mapping style you're going for, but between combos should be some regular flow at least in my opinion.
- 00:51:224 (4) - I don't think you should have a slider like this end on the red tick, even if it does fit the music. It messes up polarity and makes atleast me hit the next note too early. (Related). On a difficulty like this, you should consider white ticks and red ticks as a seperate polarity level.
- 00:54:644 (2,1) - This flow could be improved.
- 00:59:618 (1,2) - This blanket can be improved.
- 01:00:861 (2,1) - Better flow between combos.
- 01:27:286 (1) - Move the slider tail down a bit so it blankets with 01:26:043 (3) a bit better.
Normal
- 00:16:405 (2,1) - 1 isn't quite perfectly blanketed. It's slightly further away towards the tail.
- 00:31:638 (3,4) - These aren't quite lined up horizontally. Either make them lined up, or move 4 lower so that there's a more distinct angle between them, else it looks unprofessional.
- 00:39:721 (4) - The slider tail is very slightly too close to be a perfect blanket, but I'm being pedantic here.
- 00:42:208 (3,1) - Better flow between combos.
- 00:49:359 (4,1) - Same as above.
- 01:13:296 (3,1) - Same as above, just slightly.
Hard
- 00:01:017 (3) - I don't like how this plays. It feels out of place and doesn't fit with the music. I would maybe just put a circle on the white tick.
- 00:12:364 (4,1) - Don't have an overlap like this where the tail and head is covered, even slightly.
- 00:45:006 (1,2) - Same as above; avoid overlapping the tail.
- 01:02:260 (1,3) - Same as above.
- 01:29:462 (3) - This feels like a mistake. Is this supposed to be there awkwardly positioned from the diamond shape?
Insane
- 00:01:172 (4,1) - I wouldn't stack these if the timing is longer than that of the objects before it. It gives the sense that it should come sooner rather than later.
- 00:03:659 (4,1) - Same as above.
- 00:10:499 (1) - Move the slider tail to 340:320 for what I think is a better blanket.
- 00:11:898 (5,1) - Another overlap to try and avoid.
- 00:23:245 (4) - This blanket can be improved; the slider tail is too far away.
- 00:23:245 (4,1) - Don't have an overlap like this where the head is completely covered.
- 00:28:685 (1) - This blanket can be improved.
- 00:39:721 (4) - Same as above.
- 00:50:602 (4,1) - Avoid this overlap.
- 01:03:504 (1,2) - Same as above. A general rule for Slider Bows is to have the 'arrow' longer than the 'bow' so that the heads and tails are visible (helpful).
- 01:09:255 (3,1) - Same as above.
- 01:12:208 (1,3) - Same as above.
- 01:25:110 (3) - This blanket can be improved; the tail is too far away.
- 01:26:353 (3) - Same as above.
Fallen
- 00:03:815 (1) - This blanket can be very slightly improved.
- 00:06:457 (1,2,3,4) - Is this supposed to have different spacing than the two combos before it?
- 00:28:219 (4,1) - You know what I'm going to say about these overlaps by now I assume.
- 00:28:685 (1) - You could make a blanket out of this, but you don't have to.
- 00:35:369 (2,3) - Same here. It's fine if the tail of 2 is somewhat stacked above the head of 3, but don't make it overlap the tail of 3 too.
- 01:07:234 (1) - You could make a blanket out of this.
- 01:17:183 (1,4) - Another overlap to avoid.
- 01:28:063 (5,1) - Same as above.
-
Edit: Forgot to say, best of luck It was a pretty fun map to playtest.
